“I ordered my husband's birthday cake from Ann's Cake Pan and it was delicious. It was a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling and vanilla buttercream. Bill was extremely helpful with taking my order. I am making this my birthday cake stop for now on. I'm sad that I lived in Warrington for 6 years and didn't know this tasty establishment existed. I'm going to refer everyone here! “I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“Every time I fly back to PA my first stop after grabbing rental car, Corropolese on Egypt Rd is my first stop. Nothing like home like a couple Tomato Pies and the first is usually gone by the time I get to Reading. Driving while eating a slice and minimizing the sauce on one’s hand is skill best learned through practice. 😀
Staff is always friendly and the 1/4 pies are always stacked high, ready to go. Don’t change a thing Corropolese and keep up the great work!“

I seen other mochi places and they’re even more expensive so they’re relatively cheaper than most places. I got peach milk tea too and three Korean corn dogs. The milk tea was perfect. I go to the farmers markets specifically for this bread. Philadelphia has a number of great new small bakeries but Ursa is at the top!“

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. I'm excited for this to be one of my regular haunts in Philly. The manager runs this place like a well-oiled machine.“

However, I think it is necessary to cover the holes in beverage lids and seal pastry bags with Doordash and other food delivery orders for peace of mind and to ensure delivery drivers can't tamper with or accidentally contaminate your your order with anything. Paris Baguette seems to rarely do that.“
