“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.“

“They have a seasonal plant-forward menu, and overall the food was very good. We got the sourdough focaccia, beet salad, heirloom tomato salad, sungold tomato pappardelle, and stuff pepper with romesco. The tomato dishes were my favorite. You can really taste the quality of ingredients, and I love the additional of fermented items. It’s worth coming out of your way for.“

“These are the most generous people I’ve ever had the privilege of ordering from in my life. I’m going through a family crisis and I’m in town for the week. I’ve been eating wawa veggie sandwiches and French fries for over a week now and I decided to treat myself to something vegan so I ordered through grubhub for the first time. I guess I accidentally ordered it to be delivered the following day. So I just called them and asked them if they were able to change the delivery time. They said sure no problem but apparently they couldn’t find a GH driver so the owner drove 20 minutes to deliver it to me and I’m honestly about to cry after the week I’ve had. They will never know how much this means to me. I am a lifelong Boardwalk Vegan fan and cannot recommend them enough!!!“

“Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! I highly recommend you check out Vernick Fish. We will definitely return!“

Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. “So I have been to Philly several times and this restaurant has been on my radar to try. Finally made sure it got included in my culinary trip to Philadelphia. After asking for a recommendation between some didhes I could not decide on...my main and desert, my waiter gave recommendations that did not disappoint. The Carbonara was excellent.and the Budino di Pane scrumptious! I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. It was busy and just a little too noisy for me, but if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of an eatery, you will love this restaurant! I recommend and hopefully get to come again on another visit to Philly.“

“The circle and squares here are so good I’d eat a triangle or an octagon pizza if they had it.

Pick up was super easy and fast. I think it was ready in like 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe less. I really like the ranch they offer as well“

I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. “I have been eating here every Sunday for several years. And then I shop. Everything tastes great, everything is organic, mostly wholegrain and it is 95% vegan and is an amazing bargain! Jammed Yam (sweet potato with quinoa, black beans, pineapple, mixed peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, avocado) has been my go to for a while now, but I do get other entrees from time to time. There is always a special and a soup and if you get there early you might be able to get one or two of their $.99 vegan wholegrain muffins. Yes, you can mix and match any ingredients or pay $.75 to get extra. I also get a kombucha refill in my growler.“

They were very accommodating to our requirements and went beyond our expectations. If you are looking to have a large gathering I will definitely recommend doing a buyout. We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. The décor is very pleasant and we didn't need to do anything additional They provided us two stations for our henna ladies. Our function was a big hit. “This place is awesome. The food, the staff, the service were all top notch. It doesn’t feel like a stuffy 5 star restaurant but your food tastes every bit like it would at a 5 star. It’s BYOB and one of the wine bottle we brought had a cork that disintegrated and they kindly filtered it all out and put it in a decanter for us. Every single course was delicious!! We each got a different appetizer, two different entrées, and two different desserts. Every one of the appetizers was amazing, but I thought the wax beans by far were the best. The carrots were also delicious and everyone really loved the rice noodles too. Each dish was unique and super flavorful!! The steak appetizer was excellent. My scallops were good but not my favorite mix. The desserts were very good and we had to get them to go so I’m sure they would have been even better fresh. I will 1000% be back. Bravo Helm, you know what you’re doing!!!“
