“On a recent road trip, while stopping to take a break from driving, my current side chick and I spotted an IHOP near the exit ramp. The aroma of hot, delicious pancakes and coffee was in the air. Seeing the IHOP logo was very comforting, and the clean outside appearance of the building seemed to be inviting us in for a spectacular breakfast meal. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly, welcoming and attentive waitstaff with smiles on all their faces. The coffee was hot and absolutely delicious, with the waitstaff keeping my cup topped off. My side chick ordered orange juice, pancakes, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. I ordered the T-Bone steak and egg breakfast plate. Before we knew it, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs arrived at our table, that were soft, fluffy, and moist with a creamy, velvet texture, bright yellow color and melt in your mouth flavor. The steak plate arrived with a mound of expertly prepared hashbrowns, their edges caramelized and crackling while the inside remained soft and moist and flavorful. The steak was sizzling, juicy and tender, with a tantalizing aroma. Its mouthwatering appearance promised delicious, rich tenderness with each bite. The steak boasts a savory slightly seared crust, contrasting with its tender, rosy interior that's cooked to absolute medium rare perfection. The pancakes were crisp, buttery, and golden on the exterior, with light and fluffy interior that pairs very well with a generous amount of the maple syrup slathered on the surface. IHOP maintains a vibrant, low energy, cozy ambiance. The friendly, courteous service, flavorful food and classic diner vibes made our meal at IHOP a spectacular and truly satisfying experience...

UPDATE: We came back for a 2nd breakfast visit, and they opened the doors at exactly 6 AM. The aromatic coffee was already hot and ready to drink immediately. Our meal order went in and our delicious breakfast came out fast, perfectly cooked to our liking.“

“We stopped in for Dinner on 1-05-26 and our waitress was Brenna I believe, She said she was fairly new but did a great job, was friendly and helpful. All three of us were happy with our meals and the price was great for dinner and desert. My Steak was cooked perfectly. It was comfortable and relaxing with plenty of options on the menu. We’ve HEARD, that they have an incredible outdoor grill setup…We’ve HEARD, that the Wrangler BBQ pit was custom made in Indiana…We’ve HEARD, that the cherry and applewood smoked meats are on display under their pavilion….But We’ve only been able to TASTE their winter options; an award-winning tray of Old Fashion square (sweeter sauce, two cheese blend), a toasted Cuban with seasoned gravy fries and a crock of French onion soup to boot. It really hit the spot as we split town for the Catskills, and began our journey with some NEPA non-negotiables. Guess we'll have to find our way back once the winter weather breaks.“

This was the greatest town to grow up in we had kiddies Day like mothers and fathers day we had kidfies6 day we has blueberry ad back berry's we pick them sell them for 50 cents a quart now they are all gone they came in sprayed and no more berries no more kiddies Day ice skating no more teen town no more cyc we had places to go in the summer had play houses on all for corners of Carbondale
I have one question who's idea was it to End all this who's idea was it to make Carbondale a dead town cisco had many owners always had good food some better then others you go down main street and it looks like some one punched main street in the mouth half the building gone knocked down for what Carbondale was a place the stars came to Jacky Gleason daughter got married here the best pool playes in the world played here and some on the best music came out of this little town we had it all but some one thought it wasn't a great idea so your kids suffer it's a Dam shame under main street covered over with black top is brick roads now we half to put black top down every other years back then a brick brakes you replace the brick our leaders are ti blame your kids are left to the trouble you left them not there fault“

LO mein was delicious Snrimp Egg foo young ..delicious ask for flat not chucky. General chicken good. I wish they offered the General shrimp on delivery menu . We pick up bi weekly or monthly from here yet I hv not asked if they can do the generals shrimp in a brown garlic sauce as that is fabulous and my go to. If I don't stick with veggies. Try and Enjoy! The bartender Lauren was friendly, the clams were delicious and the conversation with the couple at the bar was pleasurable. The place had great atmosphere is deceptively large inside. I'm definitely stopping here again when I have the time.“

“We are in town for a wedding and chose this place because they make a vegan pizza. It's not an after thought or something to placate the one vegan friend in the group. “Worth the drive off the beaten path. KCPepper consistently serves up delicious food for us every time we stop in and at a reasonable price. We left SO stuffed last night, I physically couldn’t take the last bite of my Hot Honey Chicken sandwich but I wanted to sooo bad. Fun, casual vibes, we love coming just the two of us but have bought kids and family from out of town as well.
