“We’ve patronized Thunderhead Lodge twice in 2 weeks with friends at each visit. Service was great at both visits and everyone agreed (both visits) that it’s definitely worth another visit! “It’s my first time here. The place is nice, with unique decorations unlike a typical bar. The beer menu is displayed on the wall, and the cocktail menu is on paper. It’s small but cool. You’ll need to find street parking nearby. A great spot to grab a beer and try different flavors!“

“I just moved into the neighborhood and me and my boyfriend are in the restaurant/bar business. The only time we have the opportunity to come in is after work. It is not a welcoming place. It is a very cliquey place. We tip 100% and not once got a “thank you” or even a positive greeting. We always have the same bartender and she is always some bigger woman who doesn’t want to leave the end of the bar to tend to customers as she is on her phone: To whomever the owners are, know this: You had good intentions by buying a restaurant/ bar. I can hear the live music from my home which I enjoy. Instead of opening a bar to serve the community, you hired a bartender who has created an unwelcoming environment. As my boyfriend and I walked to our car tonight and left with a pint glass, the bartender had a guy chase us down. My boyfriend could have made that really bad for the drunk guy, but that was all in the bartender’s bad judgement and incapability of running a bar. She was too busy on her phone at the end of the bar. I know we will never be back. If the owners ever want to reach out or know where they fell short, they can reach out to us and we will gladly assist for free.“

“Fun restaurant with random nicknacks everywhere. Your eyes will wander around the whole time you are there. A cute dog is the official greater. The food was decent enough that I would come back while in town. The frozen party drinks served in over sized cups hit the spot. My daughter loved her pasta and chicken wings, the wife was happy with her salmon with baked potato, and I ordered the ribs and actually liked it better than the past few times I've ordered ribs at random establishments that offer it. Chocolate cake and berry pie were enjoyable. If busy the gentleman that was working there is definitely hustling and doing his best to keep up. So be patient. Enjoy.“

The service, preparation, care of the order, and, up to and including the delivery of our food make me value this West Penn Diner experience as worthwhile and I feel appreciated as a customer. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy and the diner is clean. It is also really worth noting that your omelettes are just the very best! There is nothing to add except another order to them. All the ingredients that are included on the plate equal perfection. I feel confident to write that I bet all the customers feel that with all of these orders of perfection being carried out from the kitchen I believe you have a deadly combination of satisfied, happy and grateful customers. “Came here for mine and my boyfriend's 1 year anniversary, this place did not disappoint! The servers were very kind and had a pleasant upbeat vibe. The food was AMAZING, we got fried green beans and mozzarella sticks as appetisers and they were so good we almost ordered seconds. The drinks were tasty and decently priced, I'd absolutely recommend coming here. Will be crossing the pond again one day to get my hands on more mozzarella sticks. ?❤️“

Edit: I figured I'd give an update, food is still good and service is great.

However my main complaint would be with the drinks and cocktails. Compared to other places they are fairly smaller and twice the cost. Also it seems like the total content of alcohol in the drinks has decreased, which kind of turns me off from ordering more. Since the portioning seems to have decreased but prices increased, and then the total content also decreasing it feels like the price quadrupled. I definitely feel when it comes to drinks other places offer a better value.“

“Really nice sports bar located on top of a mountain. I've had takeout here a few times in passing and decided to eat in finally. Food is really good, but every time I'm there, no music is playing or the tv's are muted. It's kind of of awkward. You could hear a pin drop. Maybe I'm just used to sports bars being loud. Its so quiet you can hear people whispering. This place has a 5/5 vibe, food and wings are slammin', but unmute the tv's or play some music please!“
