I have been taking guests there since Dave and Sherry opened 25 years ago and have always had a great experience. There are always great choices on the menu and the atmosphere is fun and historic. The unique wedge shaped site at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Union Street features plenty of parking and an onsite bakery. The owners are great supporters of the community and have been hands-on in all aspects of the operation. Well appointed guest rooms are available above the restaurant. “The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.“

If you’re eating at the bar, please walk around bar instead of the patron leaning back having to move and figure it out. Mixed drinks are good and wine list is good and the porch is pleasant. Place is good, just could be a little better“

“This is our very favorite restaurant, however due to a very large crowd this evening, we had to sit at the bar. It was nice at first. But our waitress/bartender was a bit rude to us and didn't even check on how our meals came out, offer more beverages, refills and did not offer dessert. We usually tip very well but didn't this time. The crowd had really dispersed by the time we had our meals so there was really no excuse for the bad service. We will continue to go back of course becasue we love it there but hoping for a better experience.“

“I came here for a trivia night event and had the Sea-duction with a side of green beans and a baked potato. The seafood was tender and well-seasoned. I especially enjoyed the broiled flounder. The baked potato was cooked just right and came with butter and sour cream. I absolutely loved the seasoning on the green beans and they were tender without being overcooked. The service was prompt and friendly, especially with the business of the evening. The dining area was open with an inviting ambiance. I would come back again and sample some more of their menu in the future!“

“Our server, Monet, like the French artist, was excellent throughout our first time at Stoner Grille. For reference, we were there on a Sunday afternoon, after church. I recommend that time period because this normally very popular bustling establishment can get very crowded. Its a fun family and sports tavern. The do take reservations, so be sure to see if you need them for your anticipated time.

We started off with the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. Made to perfection, served with 3 delicious sauces. Yum!

My wife had the Shrimp Rocko Tacos, with a maple mayo sauce on the side. They were large enough to take one home to enjoy the next day. Very unique cheese infused shell made this choice a must try for taco fans.

I had the Reuben. It was served on a fresh baked bread, not at all greasy, with a nice amount of corned beef and sauerkraut properly proportioned. The dressing was also just right and not messy as you know Reubens can get. This Reuben had to be one of the best I've ever had and my new high bar to compare all others.

The two bartenders were fantastic—warm, funny, and attentive. And the cocktails… OH MY GOSH. Just try them. You’ll thank me later! Yes, we had a little extra wait time with such a large group which was to be expected, but the crew was on top of our drink service and checked back frequently to follow up on our needs. No easy task serving so many at once- Carmen and Johanna were on top of things and Jess was thrown into the fire with it being her first night on the job - you would have never known.! “Enjoyed our dinner. Started with 2 Oyster Rockefeller (4ea) cooked perfectly and mild in taste. I got the Branzino (had fried onion straws which was interesting) and my husband had the striped sea bass which was featured this evening and very good. Our son had the yellow fin tuna which he said was exceptional. We all had desert, crème brûlée, tiramisu, and another feature walnut bread. Where they fell short was with the overpriced drinks, Autumn rum runner and a martini. The martini came with a 2" square ice cube and not much drink. They need to take lessons from Penn's Tavern Restaurant on how to make a rum runner. No one has beat theirs yet.“
