I have been around for over 40 years and have eaten at sandwich shops all over, but Peppi's blew me away. Not only is this my absolute favorite sub spot now, it easily earned a spot in my top 3 favorite restaurants anywhere. It might even be number one.

The Highlights:
* The Food: The subs my wife and I ordered were unreal. Fresh, loaded, and hands down the best we have ever had.

* The Value: The portion sizes are massive for what you pay. It feels like a throwback to the days when you actually got incredible value for your money.

* The Staff: Some of the friendliest, most welcoming people you will meet. You can tell they take genuine pride in their food, their history, and taking care of their customers.

* The Atmosphere: Plenty of comfortable, clean seating and a huge menu with tons of great options to choose from.

If you are anywhere near the North Side, this place is an absolute must-visit. We will be back on a regular basis.“

“Greatest food in America is right here. I'm a die hard, black & gold bleeding fan from Columbus, Ohio and visiting Peppi's for a RothlisBurger is a staple of my visits to Pittsburgh. I absolutely will always make time to eat at this restaurant. The only downside is it's cash only and the ATM in the restaurant only allows withdraws in increments of $20s, other than that, this is a 5 star restaurant. Go Steelers!!“

The Steakhouse Panini and Italian Panini were nothing short of amazing! I absolutely love a good panini and these were the best I've ever had. We also grabbed a cinnamon roll and brownie - 11/10, no notes.
The staff were also so friendly. I get overwhelmed easily and I did not feel rushed into picking my order.
I wish we didn't live so far away - Breadbox would be a regular stop for us.“

“Came here after work to order takeout because I wanted a bite to eat. I got the turkey sando and the tots and let me tell you I was impressed! I was skeptical about the hummus being on the sandwich and originally asked for it to be made without but i’m honestly glad that they ended up putting it on there because it took it to a whole new level! “A fun setup! Our first time at this location. We were seated upstairs. Was definitely a little snug for our party, but food was amazing as always with Primanti. My only complaint was that we may have been overlooked a little, not being on the main floor. Drinks took a bit to get refilled. Other than that, a nice experience. Would return!“

“The people working at Jersey Mike's on Saturday evening, July 18 2020 went above and beyond for us. I placed an online order and on our way to get the order the vehicle we were driving in broke down. I called and explained the situation because I knew we wouldn't get there before close. The person I spoke with was so kind and assured me I could still get my order. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get there at all and when I called to explain and offer my order to the closing team, the person who answered was again so kind and offered to refund my order even though I had no intention of asking for that. It was just a nice gesture and the care they showed for our situation was amazing. I will make sure to order from them more often! Thanks guys!“

“I travel all around Pittsburgh for my job. Every time I’m over on this side of town, I make sure to stop and get food from here. This is by far the cleanest subway I’ve been to, with the best service. No wait times, and early pick up if you order on the app. I highly recommend going here over any other one.“

“I'm giving this a 5, because of the excellent way the young lady handled the situation. It was later at night and every other Subway was closed. This location said open. What the site DIDN'T say was that it was for pick up orders only... My phone wouldn't complete the order for some reason. Even though the owner for some reason had this poor girl working by HERSELF AT NIGHT IN OAKLAND at the only open Subway and she was SUPER busy, she took a second to take my order and made sure I was taken care of and did it with a great and positive attitude. I felt so bad that they had her there by herself... She was excellent and courteous. And the food was good as well. I'm appreciative of her.“

“I stopped going to Subway a few years ago because of quality was terrible. A couple of years ago I moved and was very close to this location in Westview plaza. I don't know if it is just this location or all subways have stepped up their game but I have never gotten a bad meal at this place!
Everything is fresh and it fills me up. The best part is I order through the app and they always have at least buy one get a second for 50% off and run a buy one get one free promotion very frequently. Currently they are doing the buy one get one free promotion and I have gone there three times in the last 5 days. All three times the food was delicious and did not take long to get. “I had a great experience during my first visit to Firehouse Subs. I was going to work, and stopped by here to get the sandwich. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavour. I ordered the Hook & Ladder sandwich, and I would highly recommend trying it — it was delicious and made perfectly.

I would also like to shoutout to the girl working there who helped me choose and customize the best sandwich. She was very kind and happily added extra toppings to make it exactly how I wanted. She provided amazing customer service and made my visit even better.
