In fact, this restaurant, the Staybridge Inn Hotel and the shops, all within walking distance, make Glen Mills Pennsylvania our favorite overnight stop on the entire East Coast. “My partner and I decided to give Andiario a try over the weekend and I can't express how genuinely lovely the entire experience was. The staff were all extremely attentive and knowledgeable while the menu (which apparently changes every week) was delicious and inspiring. I swear I could have the pasta and pheasant for every meal and still be satisfied! I wish I could properly convey just how relaxing and delightful the atmosphere was too. “This was our second visit to Snuff Mill and the food and service is consistently top notch. Shannon provided excellent attentive service and the burrata, Nashville chicken sandwich and Mill salad were delicious and well plated. The manager Kaylee stopped by and we spoke with her for about 10 minutes. She shared upcoming events like the wine pairing dinner and opera dinner. We loved that she was an “active” manager who engages with the patrons and talks with pride about the staff and how they strive for an exceptional experience. Keep up the good work Snuff Mill!!“

“Clean restaurant with fast service and delicious food! I have a severe food allergy which makes it hard to eat at most restaurants. However, they were very accommodating and we had the best server, Amanda, who made sure I was completely comfortable and taken care of. “Very nice Cafe, it was clean and open. We (grou of 5) went for late breakfast and there was no wait. The host sat us immediately and the server came an took our drink order. The coffee is good, a little strong. We ordered and received our meals within 15 minutes. All of our meals were hot and prepared the way ordered. The server was friendly and checked on us multiple times. The floors and tables were clean; the booth we were in had some damage from use. The bathroom was clean. There is ample parking.

“I've passed this place so many times and finally stopped in. It's a piece of history and a cool old diner. I understood the chicken fingers are frozen so I opted for the chicken breast sandwich and it was WORTH IT!! The charbroil taste was great, best sandwich I've had in awhile. My only disappointment were the fries, pretty tasteless. Overall, I'll return as I've heard their burgers are amazing as well.“

“A great stop to sit down for a quick homemade breakfast or lunch in the Westtown Amish Market. We come to Westtown about once a month and have always had delightful experiences here at H&L!We enjoyed lunch on our most recent visit. My wife had a corned beef sandwich, while I enjoyed the fried fish sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Both meals came with a pickle and potato chips on the side but we chose to upgrade to fries for an extra $3. (As you can see from the photos, we were each offered a generous helping of fries we couldn't finish!)Our waitress was so kind and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed at least twice. We look forward to our next visit!“

“Administrative details - While you usually must make a reservation a year in advance (which I did), there are a very few earlier spots available on their website. In addition, if you are on the email list, they send the occasional last-minute availability. Talula’s is BYOB. The price was $125 and with all the other things, taxes, gratuities, it came to $160. The Nook Table is available for 6-8 diners and the Farm Table is for larger parties. Website link is below. Everything is presented in “tasting” small portions. In addition to the menu, they provided a couple of additional offerings. I did not do a good job of capturing the delightful descriptions of the food provided by our server. (The next time I go, I will video the descriptions if they allow.) The group did a great job of bringing wine which was beautifully poured in appropriate glassware by our server. The server also paired the wine with the offerings for us! The service was exceptional without being pretentious. After each tasting, plates, utensils and glasses were cleared and refurbished so discreetly that you hardly noticed. The menu changes with the “farm to table” availability. My favorite was a squash tarte. [I was delighted to find that I did not like the foie gras. It is “made” in a most inhumane and horrible way. This is the only time I have eaten it and I will never eat it again.] I was sorry to find that by the Black Garlic Beef Ribeye (#6 on the list), I was getting to the point of “too much food.” The only downsides were “too much food” for most of us and the wines they suggested for the pairings were hard/impossible to find. I personally did not like the varieties of wines they suggested for pairings. The rest of the party enjoyed the comparable wines they were able to find and allowed the server to pair with the tastings. I will be making a reservation for next year very soon. I have already made a reservation for the “sister” Talula’s Garden in Philly for September.“

“Highly recommend! We celebrated our anniversary tonight and the service was incredible from the moment we walked in the door. The doors were opened for us and we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server Brandon was fantastic. We tried all of his recommendations and were not disappointed. The crispy calamari, NY strip special, chicken piccata, and you have to leave room for the butterscotch cake AND the cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food, waters were refilled frequently, but we never felt rushed. This was our first time and we cannot wait to go back.“

“Nice place! Felt very homely and welcoming. It's a bit out of the way but a friend took me there to try after he was impressed by it. I had the chipped beef on toast and it hit the spot. I also had a side of scrapple. Most places don't cook scrapple correctly but Libby's did a fine job with it, and that's coming from a guy that lives in scrapple territory! I will say that the potatoes needed salt, but I'd rather have to add salt than deal with having too much salt. The coffee was decent as well.

Oh yeah, talk about affordable! This is how breakfast should be priced!

Kid-friendliness: While I was walking out, two little kids in strollers were smiling and waving bye to us. The staff were having fun with them too. It was adorable so I'd say they're pretty kid friendly.“
