“My husband and I along with my church family went to Sound Theatre in Lancaster, PA to see the biblical history of Daniel, brought to life on stage. Friday the 18th of October 2024. On our way home Sunday to Rochester, NY; we decide to stop at this restaurant (Family Chicken and Waffles) before we hit the road… THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!! “Tonight was the first time I have been to Adagio. We came in as a party of 13. My friend had made reservations so that was a very good idea. We did a Galentine’s day. Our server Cathryn (not sure of the correct spelling) was amazing. They had a large group of regulars that they were unaware was coming in there tonight. We were in no rush but she explained and still managed to get everything done in an extremely timely manner. I love shrimp but didn’t want anything on the menu so I asked if there was a way I could have shrimp scampi so we got that figured out. This was the best shrimp scampi I’ve had in my life. I hope someone can please pass that on to the chef. I don’t know what is in his/her sauce but it was just perfect. There was also a great shrimp to pasta ratio. Cathryn had to keep bringing up crabs for the all you can eat for about 5 of my friends. I can’t speak for them but from the looks of it they were probably I know people complain often about anything lately so I wanted to let people know how much I loved it and I’m looking forward to going back again.“

“The specials they have are incredible. Staff is attentive and kind. Atmosphere is comfortable with large windows. Choices of surf and turf, pasta dishes, and even offer lunch specials during the week! If you get a chance to try their jacked up oysters (usually offered during special events only)-you need to try them! So delicious! Scallops with crabmeat (Nantucket special) were spectacular! Absolute perfection. Their creamed corn is something special and unique. One of my faves. My kids had the chicken fingers and fries - the fries are so good! (Yes..I snuck a few while my daughter was distracted). Do not want to miss out on this place!“

Let me reel you in real quick because this place hooked me hard.
A friend who knows the Easton food scene way better than I do pointed me toward Scully’s, and I’m officially indebted to him. From the outside, it’s the kind of unassuming spot you’d walk past unless you were on a mission. Just a little shop with a hanging sign, nestled beside another restaurant. But inside? Oh boy it’s a different story.
The vibe is simple and straight to the point. Up front, there’s a massive ice chest showing off the day’s fresh catch like a seafood runway, and the menu? Small but mighty. It changes based on what they’ve hauled in fresh which is exactly how you know you’re in for something good.
I ordered the breaded haddock with fries, plus their homemade cocktail and tartar sauces. The couple running the place (husband and wife, I’m guessing) were super friendly and casually let me know they’re cash-only but pointed out the ATM across the way like pros. Respect.
Fifteen minutes later, I was back at work cracking open the box, and man… I didn’t know fish could do that to me. Light, crispy, fresh like it had just leapt out of the ocean and politely asked to be fried. The smell alone turned my coworkers into sea scavengers, circling my desk asking where it came from.
And let’s talk about those sauces because wow. I’d put that cocktail sauce on a shoe and still go back for seconds. Same goes for the tartar. I dunked, dipped, and devoured my way through the tray like I hadn’t eaten in days. They even threw in fresh lemon wedges that took the whole thing up to seafood nirvana.
Scully’s didn’t just serve me lunch they ruined other fish places for me. I would highly recommend this spot if you’re in Easton. Just make sure to bring cash and an appetite.“

“My Husband & I recently had a delicious lunch at RAPAEN restaurant, it was TERRIFIC! I had the STEAK ESPECIAL (a smaller rib-eye style cut, cooked perfectly medium rare, no bone) TREMENDOUS!! My husband had the PATACONES CON QUESO Y CAMARON ( Crunchy plantains with Equadoria Shrimp) FANTASTIC!! COOKED TO PERFECTION!! Our Host,Wilson Patino, was positive, amenable, VERY professional and VERY proud of his flavorful, expertly prepared, glorious food My Husband and I HEARTILY RECOMMEND RAPEAN restaurant with FIVE STARS!! Go and EAT!! YOU WILL LOVE ? IT!!!“

“Recent Banquet - very disappointed in lack of service. Tables over crowded - 10 at table, so full thought food was going to fall off. Servers did not clear first item of butter plate and bread baskets off table whole night. Never ask if everything ok with dinner, did not refill water, coffee or tea. Had to go to bar to get water. Mignon a bit tuff and expected better than simple green beans and little red potatoes. Better meal at other steak houses. Atmosphere good because we brought our own decorations.“

“I just happened to drive by the restaurant during dinner hour and noticed that the parking lot was filled, as compared to years ago. As a result, my interest was peeked and decided to Google them. Studied the online menu and decided to give them a try. Turns out we have a little Italian gem here in the Lehigh Valley. We have eaten at this warm, cozy restaurant three times in the last month. All three times the food was fresh and fabulous. The two front rooms are used for large group parties that I must keep in mind for in the future. The side rooms are cozy and rustic. Pasta and sauces are made fresh daily. Give a try - you will be impressed.“

“Great food. They no longer (at least in Allentown) offer table service, although you can order at the register and they will bring you your food in take-out containers. Same delicious recipes and very friendly staff. It seems that, after COVID, the takeout business was easier to support than having to find wait staff. Can't blame them, but I wish there were table service again.“

“The Leaf Cigar Bar is just 15 feet from the Famous Smoke Shop just beyond a smoking room with deeply padded, leather chairs, ashtrays, and a television that usually plays local sports .
There you can sit down and have a cigar whenever the cigar shop is open.The store has the largest humidor in eastern Pennsylvania and the prices are the best that you will find on a huge selection of cigars varying in price from thrifty to beyond extravagant. There is a large selection of Cigar accoutrements
The Leaf Cigar Bar is a large well ventilated safe space for cigar smokers that unfortunately, is only open Thursday through Saturday 11 AM to 10 PM. But when it’s open, they have a full range of craft beers and liquors. The bartenders are friendly, pour good drinks and can work fast.
I’ve been smoking cigars and drinking since I was 14 (I’m 72 now) and this is the nicest humidor- Cigar Bar that I’ve been in“

“The last couple of years China kings food has gotten worse. I will no longer be there customer. China king cooks in rancid old oil. The last 3 orders I made with China king. I had to throw away some of the food. My last order the meat was bad. I was afraid to eat it and had to throw it away“

“For context, I know how to make a tenderloin fillet steak that is easily worth $100 per plate. The problem is, when I eat out, I am unable to find a restaurant that can match that level of quality.
We both ordered the tenderloin fillet's, ordered medium-rare, and I was not looking forward to when the steaks arrive and I feel the top and can tell immediately it is over cooked. Because the price they command for that steak, it would be unacceptable to not deliver it to the table a perfect medium-rare.
Thankfully, that *did not* happen. Both were perfect medium-rare, with an impressive crust.
It comes wiht a Bernasie sauce, but they have specialty sauces that have an up-charge, and one was a mediera demi-glace sauce. Very similar to how I serve these steaks, and it was absolutely perfect.
You don't get a side with the meal, its an up-charge. If money is an object, this isn't a good pick. But both our sides were well worth the up-charge.
We did not have reservations, so we got seated in the bar. Not really a problem, but I saw a lot opf empty tables in the main dining rooms.
Service was very good, as we were well attended to throughout.
There was literally nothing I can nit-pick about thsi visit.
That said, this is one visit. Obviously I cannot speak for consistency.
I also want to addres the reviewer that left a one star review because they ordered a well-done beef fillet, and complained it was a hockey puck. That is exactly why you don't order fillets if you must have it well done.
Cooked anywhere beyond medium-rare, the texture and flavor and presentation are all negatively impacted when cooking beyond medium rare. I have been perfecting this craft for over 40 years.
If you cannot eat beef fillet medium-rare, then please don't order it. Prime rib or strip steak is for you.“

“Ate there with my friend. We both ordered the eggplant rollatini. She had the chicken soup, I had a salad with mine. Very good. Generous portions. Sauce had a nice tomato/basil flavor and the two eggplant rollups were good sized covered with melted mozzarella. There was a large portion of angel hair pasta and the garlic bread was delicious with just the right amount of garlic on top.“

“Second visit here, we had planned a large takeout order to be picked up at a specific time. Upon arriving, our order was ready on time as promised, packed and all ready to take out. Very reasonable pricing, and our dinner was excellent. Thank you, i will order again in the future.“

“Lived here for over 10 years and never tried this place. One day this month I said aww what the heck lets see what its about.Had the buffet and I was thoroughly impressed with the food quality and the variety. I left fully satisfied and for 11 bucks all in you can't beat that.They'll be seeing me once or twice a month from now on.“

“I was very pleasantly surprised how good this sushi was. I got the Eel and avocado, rainbow roll, spicy tuna, and spider roll and we’re all fantastic. Total price was about $38 so it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. However, you can’t walk in the restaurant (just a little window to exchange) and the front area looks terrible, used as a storage room for everyone to look at inside the restaurant. Doesn’t look clean which is not a good look for a place the serves raw fish. Also parking is limited… Overall, excellent!“
