“Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! I highly recommend you check out Vernick Fish. We will definitely return!“

“This was our first time and we loved it!! My daughter had been prior and suggested Sedona! Very good food and great service from Danielle!! Nachos, stuffed jalapeño’s for starters and just delicious!!!! I had the shrimp and grits which were amazing!! It came with the smallest bottle of Tobassco and my wife said…thank you!!!🤷🏾 my ladies loved their dishes and it was a nice time at dinner!! Didn’t wait long for a seat which is always a plus! It’s a large space which also has outside seating!! When I got home I sent those shrimp right back to the Bayou which was a good thing…it made room for two apple cider donuts from Linvilla!!! “We were in town for the weekend. Came across this place on Saturday night. We enjoyed it very much. The oysters were fresh. My wife really liked the romaine salad. Spaghetti al limone was tasty - the sorrento lemon really comes out. The frutti di mare was really tasty - the chef is not afraid to bring the spice. Service was very attentive. We would visit again if we make it back to Philly.“

“Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“Wick's is awesome! Their staff is always super friendly! I always bring coolers of food from Wicks with me to the Outer Banks when I vacation there for a week in a house rental. Wick's has almost every product available; from burgers, hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers (homemade right there on site), all things seafood, chicken patties, roast beef and gravy and mac and cheese right in the aluminum pans to cook them in, vegetables, almost everything imaginable. I highly recommend this place of business.“

I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Please don’t let the outdated atmosphere keep you from experiencing this place. The service was terrific, and the food was even better. I ordered the fish hoagie and could only eat half; there were at least four pieces of fish on it, plus a side of potato salad. The potato salad wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t bad either.

My husband had the fried shrimp platter with six shrimp, coleslaw, and fries. He said it was delicious and only struggled to finish because the portion was so generous. Overall, I’m honestly upset it took me so long to try this spot. I drive by it at least three times a week!

“It's your average Hood Deli. Breaded chicken wings are to die for. No thrills, but always FRESH. Mother and Father own and run the business. Both can be a little brash but overall it's a good place to get a quick bite that isn't expensive. Never ever have to worry about the food not being fresh either.“
