“Visited with a friend for dinner yesterday. No wait on a Saturday night. We shared the pakora starter. I got the jollof rice with tofu. My friend got the black bean bowl with rosemary potatoes and a mint lemonade. Everything was absolutely delicious and everyone from the waitstaff to the owner (who came over to introduce himself) were so nice and welcoming. Very reasonably priced. “Everything from the walk in the door to the very last bite was AMAZING! Cute smaller place with some seating and cute hammock swings. The owner was taking an order at the counter but greeted me and helped me as soon as he finished with them. He said it would be a 20 minute wait as items are made fresh. My food came out within the promised timeframe. The honey hot chicken sandwich and fries smelled so good, I couldn’t wait to get home. After a 30 minute drive home, the food was still hot and tasted way better than I expected after transport. I can’t wait to go back and try it fresh.This is a small made fresh business, if traveling a far distance try to check availability. She was so friendly and attentive and made our first experience so wonderful. We came back again last week and was hoping to see Rachel again and we did! “We have been here several times over the past year and the food and service has always been the same-- great! We have never had a bad experience or meal. We have also had take out and love the special holders for tacos that keep them upright. All of employees have been polite and friendly. We have not experienced any of them acting stressed or in a rush. Mercedes is such a great bartender. She helps to select the best drafts with her knowledge of each one. I love it when someone knows their IPA's! She is also a delight to talk to and makes us feel so welcome. The happy hour lasts until 7pm! This is a very good and clean neighborhood place, and it's certainly no dive bar in the traditional sense.“

Hands down, House of 1000 Beers, New Ken, has by far the best sandwich. The fish was incredible , crispy, clearly patted down before putting on the bun. About 3 to 4in longer then the 12in bun. The bun itself was perfect. Lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. Perfect tartar sauce…daaaamn! It is by far the best fish sammich in 100 mile radius. Whoever is making these in the kitchen is doing a great job. They take pride in their craft, job well done! Seriously, if ur looking for the best fish sammich, look no further than House of 1000 Beers , New Ken. Damn, job well done.“

The burgers were customed made by you by choosing what you want, providing you with tons of options to choose from the menu too. It did take a while to get the food, yet it came out perfectly and tasted so good. Also had sweet potato fries and milkshake, and that too was great.The environment of the place was enjoyable and had a fun time participating in their trivial game they hosted when I was there.
