“This is def my fave local subway location. I’m not sure what her name is and I’ll def make sure to get it next time but whoever was your closing employee 4/8/24 has once again done an amazing job. She makes sure the orders are what the customer is looking for exactly and really goes out of her way to do so. She’s such an asset to your team!! She has given me an exact same experience a few months ago when I told her that I had ordered a sandwich from the McKnight Road location and had a really horrible experience. She went out of her way to make sure my sandwich was exactly what I was looking for. And did so again tonight, even though I came in really close to closing. I really appreciate her and I hope she gets the recognition that she deserves.“

“I immediately made reservations when I found out they were closing. This is one of my favorite restaurants. It is conveniently located. The food is phenomenal, service the best and wine list extensive. The dining room is cozy and comfortable. My friend and I shared a bottle of wine, appetizers and dessert. We both had the salmon. Every thing was delicious. I bought a couple of bottles of wine which they were selling to go. I will miss Mary's Vine. I'm so sorry they had to close. Pittsburgh will be missing a great dining experience.“

“My family's favorite sub shop. 45 minute drive but always worth it. Tried at least a dozen different items now and all were the best. If you have never been there - you really do not know what you are missing - it has no equal. The bread and meats and prep are all unique - a really great place !!“

Drive thru line was wrapped around the building and people were standing around waiting for food inside. It took a long time for one of 3 not-busy front end workers to offer to help me. Still better than McD's.“

We came in 12•13 at 3 to get some post shopping snacks. We were greeted by a young lady named Tao who was super friendly and patient when taking our order. Her manager, whose name I did not catch but she was a taller lady with curly hair who put down her previous activity to help Tao make our food, was more than happy to chat with us while we waited and even gave us fresh turn-overs! “Prompt and efficient staff. We did a walk-in dine-in experience. Our order was taken right away and prepares quickly. Everything was right. The dining room was clean. Things have changed over the years. I remember not too long ago when an order of small fries was quite enough for me, but today it seemed like there was barely anything there. I don't know if they decreased the size of the cardboard containers or what. I do know that small is definitely small and there were no loose fries at the bottom of the bag (or in this case a box). Al in all, not a bad experience for fast food.“

Unfortunately the location attacks a lot of homeless people, a guy was laying on the ground out front an the outside just looks very dirty an smell of urine. Inside was clean. Food was ok the batter didn't stick well to the tenders. The employees was very nice an respectful.“

“This is probably one of the most well kept, managed and consistent branch in Pittsburgh. Food is always consistently good, service is always exceptional and they always get your order correct. Also as a door dasher, they make it really easy for you to get your order and go, even when extremely busy. I commend the management and the owner of this branch.“

I’m so glad they gave him a new store to ply his trade at. Very conscientious, cordial and concern for his customers. Sometimes it’s difficult, especially when you have a rotating staff of teenagers. “I never knew there was a rally's in the area until tonight. I was in the area running postmates and there was an order that came through for rally's and I have never been to one so after I delivered the food I went back to order my food and omg I loved it, staff was very friendly as well. will be going back again.“

“I went here this afternoon for lunch with my mom and twins. It was the most professional McDonald's I have ever been too. The employees made the food quick and the order was correct. The gentleman who walks around helping people in the dining room was great and very helpful considering my twins are a handful. This was the best McDonald's experience Ive ever had.“

“Stopped in for the first time after a soccer game. Had seen this place a couple times and never really stopped in. So glad we did excellent cheesesteaks! Food was fresh and hot the lemonade and the milkshakes were fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Location was clean and friendly. They're great fast casual.“

“There aren't too many of these places left and I'm glad this one in Penn Hills got it together, cause they used to be HORRIBLE. They have improved in a MAJOR way as far as the SERVICE. The past few times I've been in there, the people taking the orders were prompt and polite. Even if they were busy, someone at least acknowledged you. That alone went a long way compared to what it used to be. I'm thankful for the new leadership in that place, it's made a difference. The food is what the food is. Lol. It's still good ole Long John Silver. It's nice, cause it's hasn't taken forever to get the food either. The crew in the kitchen was on it. And heck.... They even have a large type matt on the floor where you order your food, so your not sliding your feet across the floor from all the grease in the air lol ... “Working with the public in fast food is a difficult job. The staff at this McDonald's is always pleasant and kind. They tell you to have a good day and to be safe on the road. They ask how you are doing today. They understand customer service. Many of these workers appear to be close to retirement or past retirement and I am sure their days are long but they treat their customers like human beings. McDonald's is not a gourmet meal, but this McDonald's has 5 star service. It is appreciated. Thank you.“

“We love Pirollo’s. The place is small but immaculate. The staff have always been friendly and efficient. The battleships are excellent with quality ingredients. Hours are limited but it’s definitely worth it to make the effort to stop in.“

“This JJ wasn’t terrible. The counter person was slightly condescending. She didn’t understand that I eat a Jimmy John’s multiple times a week because she felt the need to tell me what comes on the same sandwich that I ordered every time.
My instructions were not followed, and my sandwich did not meet my expectations. Even though they did not meet my expectations, I will go and give them another chance.
You know how distracting it is when you’re on your phone and there are no other customers, and instead of cleaning, maintaining your Restaurant following the one and only order you’ve probably gotten in one hour. You dropped the ball.
Not thrilled with this visit, but I will allow them to redeem themselves on my next visit.“

“We ordered their cheese fries with bacon, and it was really delicious. The fries were flavorful even though they were oily. The bacon bits were really good, and so was the amount of that melty cheese.

One order is good for 2 to 3 people depending on how hungry you are. I think it's worth the price.

However, we thought that some of the fries were pretty burnt in taste.“

“Avery is such a breath of fresh air. I've been to this location a few times. Sometimes the new trainees are a bit slow but she handles the pressure extremely well! “Came back from the bar and was in the mood for a chicken sammich. Rolled into BK. Wait time was minimal and the staff were friendly. Asked for Ranch, got it! Thanks. This chicken sandwich compared to Wendy's isnt bad. Wendy's is hotter now....(BK step up your game!) But overall was pretty tasty. Got Wendy's the other night and they only had tomato and mayo. BK had everything on it that was supposed to be on it, so good impression. Its the small things that count. Also, I believe BK is cheaper than Wendy's for a spicy chicken sammich. The overall texture wasn't bad however Wendy's is more solid. Hard to explain. This could warrant further analysis. Perhaps the bun or the chicken itself and the breading. Given I've had W and BK back to back this week I'd say overall its a tie with price, quality, and attention to detail.“
