“We are working our way through Manyunk restaurants and Bar Jawn had some excellent reviews. It was much smaller than I expected but the Bourdain signs and country music told me we were in the right place. Cooper Sharp fried cheese squares with fresh sauce were outrageously good. Cheesesteak with Cooper sharp and cherry peppers did Philly proud. Loved the seeded roll too. Definitely will be back. Service was friendly and attentive. A really great Sunday afternoon.“

“Just got home from an AMAZING dinner celebrating my father in laws 70th birthday and the 50th wedding anniversary for he and his wife. The service was impeccable and our server, Taylor was fantastic, friendly, understanding and accommodating the entire time! She couldn’t have been better! Made the entire experience a happy & memorable one! The person that helped out, Tyler was also great! Between the service and the delicious meal this is a family dinner we will never forget! 🤍 THANK YOU!“

“Finally got to visit my friend’s restaurant! We were NOT disappointed!! Excellent food, attentive staff in a quiet warm atmosphere. The menu made it so hard to decide but the Crab Cakes were the best I’ve ever eaten. The food at the whole table was amazing. Looking forward to dining again when we’re back in town!“

“Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

“Recently tried DOHO when when trying to order tacos from our usual places on Cinco de Mayo but the kids didn't want to wait 2+ hours and couldn't have been more impressed with this new hidden gem in Mt. Airy. Creative dishes and everything we ordered was delicious. Only tried about half the options between our family of 5 so definitely need to order again soon!“

“We went there Saturday July 12, 2025 to celebrate my MIL 92nd birthday...we had a wonderful meal and the service from Sadie (and all the staff) was top-notch!! We had my almost 2 year old granddaughter with us and she loved it too!! I would highly recommend going!!“

“Great restaurant! Natural food that is a nice departure from the fried stuff, although that is good on occasion. I am vegan, so this restaurant fills a pretty essential gap for me - vegan, healthy, quick, and affordable.

On the downside, I noticed today when ordering that there were tons more options at the downtown Philadelphia location things like an awesome breakfast menu, including a vegan burrito, and other side like a strawberries salad maybe some of these things are just out of stock at the moment. They could also use some vegan desserts, and maybe eventually some alternatives for vegan protein. Also, it would be nice to see a vegan mac & cheese, which is pretty easy to make and other vegan cheese dishes. Finally, I appreciate the sauces, especially the vegan aïoli, but barbecue and buffalo would be a nice addition. Overall, I really hope this place sticks around.“

“I had a great experience with the server franky. She is absolutely amazing she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable I was trying to boost my spirits and she did exactly that. The service was amazing she was fast with bringing out our food and drinks she reasured us about everything that was going on and I honestly think that she is a genuine waitress I give her a 20 out of 10 I would actually come back here again all just because of her service so I honestly feel as though you guys should be greatful to have someone that actually cares for the customers and building a bond with us she honestly deserves a raise so yup thanks for hiring Franky ❤❤❤“

“Kia was our service and when i tell you she is the bomb.com. She made my family feel like we was the only ones she was attending too. She had 4 other tables, but she made all the tables feel like we was top priority. She’s very amazing with children and you can tell she really loves her job. The manger Steven (i think that was his name) came and checked on the table and let us know Kia is definitely one of the best. I’ll be back for sure on Kia shift.

“A small, quaint and friendly bar with some great drinks and even better prices. Been here a few times and it's super chill. The bartenders are friendly and the drink deals are off the hook. Visited one Sunday and got a whiskey flight, while my wife had watermelon martini. We enjoyed our drinks in the serene outside area that resembles a scene out of a movie, which they share with a few other local vendors. Nice place to visit when you want a drink without the long wait and noise of a regular neighborhood bar.“

“Everything we ordered was so fresh, portions so large we had to take a lot home. They even went to effort to find us tabbouleh when they thought it was sold out and was it delicious. Our party included one vegan, one vegetarian and one mainly veg. Special mention to the pita, a cloud of wonderfulness, and the ginger juice, a spicy, sweet, delicious treat. We'll be back soon!“

“I had a serious craving for a fried fish sandwich. The cute little couple operating the diner were so sweet and hospitable. My sandwich was delicious! Sure wish they would accept cards, but I didn't mind going to get cash. The fish was fresh, fried to perfection, and it was just a nostalgic memorie of old school diners. Definitely will go back.“

“We had dinner here for the first time on Sat, 11/12/22–what a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We had muscles for our appetizer that were fresh and very tasty. We each had different entrees, one the salmon dish and the other chicken—both were amazing, with each of us saying we’d order our meal again or try the other one next time. Then dessert: one had the s’mores dessert and the other the chocolate bread pudding—we didn’t think we’d have room, but we made room, because both were excellent! Plus the chef said he’d be changing the menu every week—we can’t wait to go back!“

Claire was our server and she was very attentive even adding ice cubes to the dogs water and bringing a pup cup for the dog for desert. “It was kinda dead on a Wednesday, but after 3 bars and getting hungry stopped at Cheers Cafe on Westmoreland st in Port Richmond...for a pint...early enough they served food. Had a pint and some soup and OMG!!! Soup was amazing..made from scratch and was freaking delicious. Didn't even want to drink anymore wanted to just keep eating...Ordered crab balls to go...he he he!!! Then ordered whatever they had left with the soup...I am so enjoying my day off with the soup!!!!
