“Stayed for the first time and it will not be the last. The history and preservation being done by the new owners truly honors the past. Our room was beautiful and breakfast was great. The owners were fantastic and knew a lot of the history. Highly recommend a stay here.”

“Went for lunch with family. Nice outdoor patio with excellent brick oven pizza, although it was cold by the time we got it to the table. Staff was very nice, but would recommend getting the food out a bit faster. It's a bit out of the way, but certainly a nice place to spend time with good company. Would highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.”

“We did not stay at the bed and breakfast, only went for Mother's Day dinner. The food was very good, fresh and hot. It is served family style, with 3 main courses. And several side dishes, where you take what you want from each, then pass it to the others at your table. The country general store (gift shop) was really good as well, with plenty of variety, and prices were reasonable. We had nothing to complain about, and recommend paying this place a visit!”

“I just love Mr.G’s ice cream. They offer the creamiest and tastiest flavors all season long. Coffee is my favorite topped with mixed nuts but the vanilla soft serve with blueberries or just a little hot fudge is a scoop of deliciousness, that comes at a close second. I love Mr.G’s”

“We had our first visit on 1/11/25, it definitely will NOT, be our last! My husband never had crepes, he is now a huge fan! Everything was amazing, I got the Spiced Chai Tea with the Strawberries and Cream Crepe. It was so big I couldn't finish. My husband got a coffee and Little Piggy Crepe, he's in love and already planning a day trip just to go to The Cottage Creperie! You gals Rock !”

“My cousins and I had a wonderful lunch at The Sign of the Buck - overall friendly staff and Sean was a terrific, personable server whose attentiveness was just right. Food was AWESOME - my veggie grilled cheese sandwich was flavorful and delicious and the side salad was fresh as could be with a lovely variety of greens and veggies. Cousin #1 loved her salmon BLT and Cousin #2 really enjoyed her Buck burger and fries. After-the-meal French press coffee was luscious. This was a great experience all around.”

“The place is in a laundromat with limited seating. The food is amazing though, it's definitely one of those places where the food is elevated above it's atmosphere. Highly recommend but be warned, they aren't playing around when it comes to the spice. My favorite is the tacos or the spicy fried fish.”

“Small out of the way place with amazing deep dish pizza! We have been wanting to try it for quite a while and finally made the trip and was definitely not disappointed. Call ahead as we did for the deep dish as it takes 1-2 hours for them to make it depending on how busy they are. A+ grade for an amazing pizza!!!”

“My boyfriend and I went for breakfast/brunch two days in a row with no complaints. The staff were friendly, wait time for our food was minimal and the food was amazing and very cheap. I loved their French toast as it was homemade bread and not in an egg wash but a batter. The sausage, eggs and home fries were delicious as well. I’ll be back on my next trip to Gettysburg!”
