“It took a while to get my food order because I ordered fish and it is lenten season. It was worth the wait! The fried Swai and waffle fries combo was all that! The food was still hot when it arrived!
Next time I will order a bit earlier but definitely order again!“

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!“

“Where can I begin… the food was delicious! Friendly service and real conversation. My family and I are from Indiana visiting for the weekend and we wanted to try Grandma B’s. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! Hands down best food in service in Pittsburgh!“

Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. “I could write a novel on how perfect Justin and his team created our winter wedding vision. From the first interactions to the last interactions, Justin was attentive and helpful. We collaborated on everything in such a professional way that everything truly turned out perfectly. Every single detail was astonishing. Justin and his event center was able to accommodate over 110 guests for our wedding and the FOOD…oh my goodness - delicious! I’d highly recommend this space for bridal showers, receptions, events, you name it! What a wonderful experience and a wedding reception friends and family are still talking about thanks to Just in Thyme!“

“To finish up a very quick trip to Pittsburgh, I was looking for a diner to eat. The minute you walk in, people are smiling and happy. The locals are there talking with each other and it’s relaxing and refreshing. I had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and yellow waxed beans. As I told my phenomenal waitress, Bri, It was exactly as my mother would have made it. I have missed her cooking since she passed away and this meal took me back to a beautiful time and place. What once felt warm and inviting has become cold and unprofessional through eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and careless service. “I'd heard about the wings and just had to try them. In my opinion, Buffalo Wings are truly the only thing that is special about food in Pittsburgh. I was not disappointed. They're the best I've had, and they come served in a basket with sauce of the perfect consistency pooled at the bottom. The woman behind the bar somehow takes care of everyone without any help. You could tell that she truly cared about your experience.“

“Starting this review off on a positive note- I only stepped foot into this establishment because the bartender, Kat, is sweet as can be. Anywhere she works, she’s bringing the vibe. Where New Amsterdam lost me was advertising “Jumbo Fresh Wings” but serving us party wings aka wing dings. I believe it was the kitchen manager who dropped our food off to us. She placed our food down and I was confused so I hollered after her “hey! Wait, we ordered jumbo wings. These are the jumbo wings?” to which she responded over her shoulder “I just make what they order” and kept walking. We were 2 of 9 people in there on a Tuesday night. She could’ve at the very least stopped to speak to the paying customer(s) or grabbed her boss. The saving grace is that the flavors were good. Not sure if it’s worth paying $1.50 per party wing or the subpar service from the kitchen staff, but good enough. Very misleading and bad business practices. Either drop the price or serve people what they ordered.“

“The chicken wings are great and their salads are the best. The house dressing is unmatched. Great customer service as well. Had a small issue one time (a miscommunication when ordering over the phone) and they more than made up for it. They earned bonus points in my book for that.“

“We went on a Friday night for the Italian buffet. We pulled into the parking lot and it was barely any cars which made us nervous. We walked inside and it was also very empty but they did say they have the buffet so we stayed. Some of the items they had were good. The fried fish, the eggplant parm the spinach but other items seem like they have been sitting out for a while and dried out. The owners and the servers were very friendly, very welcoming and I wish them well . My wife had to brush the chicken and said it was very good. I think for $15 it was fine. What's that“
