“Walked in for breakfast me and my girlfriend and it was packed we finally got to order and my girlfriend left a few dollars as a tip next thing you know we received our food before almost everyone in there so ya that was a plus idk if the tip had a part in it or what. Food was delicious and iced coffees were spot on.“

“420 McDonald’s have not messed up not one of our many orders there. They are very nice friendly and fast. Every employee that I’ve had encountered with has always been polite. And I’ve never had to wait longer than 10 minutes if that. Very quick and easy service.“

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. I'm excited for this to be one of my regular haunts in Philly. The manager runs this place like a well-oiled machine.“

“I really love the relaxed atmosphere here and the incredible variety. My daughter cannot get enough of the cannolis. I asked her which one of the three highlighted she wanted when I brought her in there yesterday and she said yes please. “Ive been here several times, always amazing quality food! The Ethiopian food is really well spiced and tender meat, lots of vegetarian options too. Smoothies, great coffee, and some simple wraps and sandwiches as well. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Nice to eat in but also casual enough to chill if youre coming by yourself. Huge portions, I usually take leftovers. Super close to Rittenhouse Square!“

“So I have been to Philly several times and this restaurant has been on my radar to try. Finally made sure it got included in my culinary trip to Philadelphia. After asking for a recommendation between some didhes I could not decide on...my main and desert, my waiter gave recommendations that did not disappoint. The Carbonara was excellent.and the Budino di Pane scrumptious! I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. It was busy and just a little too noisy for me, but if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of an eatery, you will love this restaurant! I recommend and hopefully get to come again on another visit to Philly.“

“I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“I used to live in the Philly area and stopped by Green Street Coffee with my brother while visiting! (It’s one of his favs!) Sit and Lucy were amazing— super friendly and welcoming! I got an espresso and it was delish, soo smooth and flavorful. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!“

“Tiny cafe with two very hard working staff. It was a bit of a wait for my coffee and avocado toast but well worth it. The avocado toast was truly beautiful with the caprese garnishes but would have crossed the line into exceptional with some finishing salt. Dining in is limited to a narrow bar and two small outdoor tables but it is a short walk to Rittenhouse square.“

“As a hermit myself, Eremita is the most inviting coffee shop in the area. Yeah sure you could go to Dunkin or Starbucks also on Ridge Ave , but neither of those stores are anything like Eremita. When you walk into the cutest coffee shop in town you’ll fall in love with its eclectic charm instantly. You can immediately tell that this place was built with love and care. They have art on the walls you can buy and other cool events like open mic nights and crafting. While they don’t have sandwiches or big meals, the pastries are to die for, especially the savory puff pastries. There are probably a dozen or so small coffee shops around, but Eremita will also be my go to.“

I no longer drink coffee - matcha only - and it’s hard to find good quality delicious matcha / tea options. Big fan! Have been here a few times recently and highly recommend. Most recently I got a matcha latte and a croissant - both of which were very good.“
