“We stayed on a summer weeknight and had a great experience! The grounds are beautiful with tons of photo opportunities and peaceful walking trails. We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet for guests was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were absolutely delicious! The shops on-site are super cute, and the pool and playgrounds kept the kids happily entertained. A relaxing, family-friendly getaway—we’d definitely stay again!“

“My husband and I have been wanting to try Silantra for months and today we finally checked it out! We LOVE it!! The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Our 11 year old son had a chicken and rice bowl with yellow coconut curry sauce and he wanted me to write that it had the perfect mix of spices and the chicken had a perfect texture. Five stars!! We will 100% be coming back!!“

“Some of the best pretzels I've ever had. They make it right there, freshly made. It's a small place, and not really a place to sit down and eat, there is outdoor seating. It wasn't a beautiful day out LOL, so I got to go. I decided to get a sour cream and onion pretzel. I loved how fresh and buttery they were. The sour cream and onion pretzel was a nice twist. Parking can probably get a bit crazy on busy days. Definitely drop by if you love pretzels like I do.“

“Amazing food—honestly, everything from the Kathmandu Fry is outstanding. The Joshra Pakura is one of my absolute favorites, and the sticky tofu is incredible too. The list could go on and on! Their chai tea is fantastic as well. On top of that, the staff is extremely friendly and actually remembers you, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!“

“Stopped in during a conference and was blown away. The barista, Blaze, was incredibly friendly, seriously knew his stuff, and made the best latte art I've personally seen (four different designs in one morning!). The espresso was the best I've had in PA thus far, and the drip coffee was easily on par with my own pourovers at home. Also got a blueberry lavender scones that was as good as they come.

The spot is small, with very little seating, but I honestly found that charming. Maybe I'd have felt differently if I weren't there right at opening!

If I lived in Lancaster, I'd be here daily -- but for my wallets sake, it's probably best I'm so far away!“

“THE TACOS!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THE TACOS!!! My family ordered the Taco special. 3 tacos for around $22 is not a bad deal considering the amount of food you get. The presentation was great and colorful. The beef brisket tacos were well seasoned and really good. BUT I was not prepared for the chicken taco. I've eaten tacos from a lot of places, TX, AZ, NM, FL, and NY. Their flavor is unlike anything I've had. If live in Lancaster, come Philthy Good. If you don't, find a reason to drive to Lancaster and go the Philthy Good. I promise you won't be disappointed. Amazing and I will be coming back and you can take all my money LOL.“

“Just had dinner at Bird-in-Hand Restaurant- the smorgasbord was amazing! So many choices! Everything was hot and delicious. The cheeseburger soup was very good! The homemade rolls- very yummy! Shrimp, ribs, mashed potatoes! Salad! I even had a mango slushy! Definitely the place to eat. Can’t wait to come back and try breakfast! Oh and dessert! Wow! Pies, puddings, amazing. “My wife and I had lunch at Chilangos today, the food was amazing. My wife loved her Shrimp Enchiladas, and I had the best Birria Tacos I've ever eaten. Lots of meat, which melted in my mouth. Tortillas were fried crispy, and I loved the grilled onions/chilis and cilantro/onions that were served on the side. Service has always been great when we eat there.“

Not only did she go above an beyond to answer all about our questions about the menu, she made suggestions, was efficient, and most of all was friendly the entire time. She cared. Her job mattered. “This place is so cute and the ice cream is amazing! There was a nice range of flavors, toppings, and cones including pink and purple ones. The ice cream is sweet and creamy and the shop itself has so much charm.“

“A most enjoyable ice cream experience where you pick the ingredients, toppings, and syrup. The ice cream is made as you watch. They roll it up and place it in the cup and add your toppings.

Fun to watch and delicious to eat. They also have a nice selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches that are reasonably priced.

“Chicken Pho and spring rolls. Not only does the food taste good, your body will let you know it's clean. The oil they fried the spring rolls isn is not re-used. My stomach would have told me. The broth has a full taste but not heavy and does not cause bloating, which leads me to believe the water used to make it is filtered . The portions of chicken are generous and a good value for what you pay. The dipping sauce for the spring rolls is not sugary and is a good balance to it's crispy texture. The space is small but well ventilated, and the instrumental music in the background is relaxing. You order at the counter and they bring you the food then you clean up after yourself, which I don't mind since everything else about the experience is satisfying. A lot of people picking up to go orders but I was glad I dined in to enjoy the fresh taste. Will be back.“
