“We stayed on a summer weeknight and had a great experience! The grounds are beautiful with tons of photo opportunities and peaceful walking trails. We stayed in the Carriage House—very clean rooms with their own parking, and just a short, easy walk to the main hotel. The complimentary breakfast buffet for guests was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelettes, which were absolutely delicious! The shops on-site are super cute, and the pool and playgrounds kept the kids happily entertained. A relaxing, family-friendly getaway—we’d definitely stay again!“

“My husband and I have been wanting to try Silantra for months and today we finally checked it out! We LOVE it!! The food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Our 11 year old son had a chicken and rice bowl with yellow coconut curry sauce and he wanted me to write that it had the perfect mix of spices and the chicken had a perfect texture. Five stars!! “Rolled Cold Creamery is such a fun and delicious stop for ice cream lovers. I got the Cookie Dough and my friend ordered the Fruity Pebbles, and both were amazing. One of the best parts? Each order comes with three free toppings - way more than most places offer, and we absolutely loved that.

You can watch them make your rolled ice cream right in front of you, which adds to the whole experience. They are located inside a store that also has a coffee shop, so the entire place smells incredible the moment you walk in.

The shop is clean, the bathroom was spotless and fully stocked, and they even offer free water, which is rare these days and very appreciated. Friendly atmosphere, great flavors, and a super enjoyable visit from start to finish.

“This was our first time there. The food was delicious. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in awhile. The doubles was amazing as was the jerk chicken and smoked wings. The food is pretty spicy. Our waitress was great too and the restaurant was cute. Did have to park kind of far away.“

“Small but great pretzel place!! I got a pizza pretzel which was a hefty croissant shaped pretzel STUFFED with pepperoni, cheese, and pizza sauce. It was soooo good and hearty. I got it on a whim and greatly enjoyed it. I also got a regular salted pretzel that was very good, nice chewy and doughy! I highly recommend a stop in if you like pretzels.“

“I went there with a group of 6. Easy reservations just a few hours earlier, good food, cool decor. We were in the indoor dining room on first floor. Very loud group next to us, so towards the end of our dining conversation had become nearly impossible. Good reviews on their soda bread, shepherd's pie, and classic fish & chips! “Spending three days in Lancaster, Passenger Roastery & Coffee Bar was by far the best latte and pastry I had while exploring the county. Popping in on a July Thursday morning, here's my experience.

1) Coffee: The menu is simple. They have the basics, but that's how you know it's quality coffee. My latte was perfectly balanced, creamy, and highlighting the espresso in it.

2) Food: Their ham and cheese turnover is excellent. They warm it up for you. There are fennel and a few other things on top making it unique.

3) Service: It's excellent! Both baristas were kind, efficient, and warm.

4) Space: It's small, but beautiful. There are a few seats inside and out and a restroom inside.“

“We have been going there for decades. Generous portions (at good prices) give at least one more meal from leftovers. Rarely have room for the good-looking desserts, but when we do, they are great. Vegetables often disappoint, but a double order of the excellent fries provides potatoes with our eggs the next morning.“

“4.5 actually on the food. We stopped here on the way to our BnB in Willow Street on a rainy Friday afternoon. We had Wonton soup, beef pho, egg rolls, spicy pork with vermicelli and spicy shrimp with vermicelli. We did take out. Everything was delicious. Taking off half a star because the vermicelli comes in a patty form so which made it difficult to detangle and eat. We ended up cutting the patties with a kitchen scissors. They are very generous with dipping sauces, cilantro, lime wedges, sprouts etc. Their Limeade is heavenly, I could definitely have drank 2 or 3.“

“We were seated in the outdoor area, which was beautifully landscaped. The server was friendly and accommodating. My husband ordered a burger and a Hop Hog IPA, both of which were great. I ordered the fettuccine. It’s described as a creamy pesto sauce with house made baked tomatoes (like sun dried) which would give it a more concentrated flavor. But when the server delivered it I couldn’t see any tomatoes so I asked the server about it and she said she could bring me some. 10 minutes later she brought a small bowl of blistered cherry tomatoes. By then I had already started eating it and though the sauce was tasty, it was kind of bland. Adding the tomatoes helped but it really needs the concentrated taste of sun-dried, not fresh tomatoes. Crushed chili peppers would have been an improvement. I was disappointed in the lack of attention by the kitchen in getting it wrong twice, and by the long wait time. The server apologized for the wait but it would have been appropriate to knock a few bucks off the bill.“

“12.22.23. I always love eating here. It's a place where my grand children and family don't have to choose a particular entre and wonder if it's going to be good and to their taste. There is a tremendous selection to fit everyone's palate. Our family has been going here since opening day and are never disappointed. One grandson favors his own blend of food at the stir fry, another likes the susi and the grandaughter likes the sampler, a small taste of everything. All like the fruit and chocolate bar and of couse cookies and ice cream. I prefer the shrimp, general's chicken, steak and the cheesy crab bake. Staff are attentive and friendly. This is alway a top go to place in the area.“
