“This is our "go to" coffee shop. We like to stop when coming into town for business or shopping. It's not fancy or trendy. It is friendly people, good conversation, great drinks, & tasty pastries. I only wish that they were open earlier so that I could stop on my way to work some mornings.“
“(Mcsherrystown location) First time and won't be the last. Ordered an iced caramel coffee with their breakfast sandwich. The coffee was the best I have had locally. My partner ordered a hot late and also said it was delicious. The sandwich included scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, and Chick-fil-A sauce. Umm, can you say genius? So tasty! Service was pretty quick even with a constant flow of customers. Ambiance had a play area for kids and people catching up over coffee. Hopefully more quiet during the week if you want to work remotely. Everyone seemed to be having a great time!“
“Have been there numerous times only thru the drive thru and love their coffee but today had some extra time so went in. It was not what I thought to be. It could have been cleaner in my opinion and the person who waited on me did not have the most pleasant appeal. I will however go back for their coffee but will stick to the drive thru.“

Shop itself is easy to get to, adequate parking, and comfortable inside with limited seating. Employees were very helpful and pleasant. Per shop employee, Whole bean only available at this location. “I can’t say enough good about this place. the owners are super nice and the bowls are beyond delicious. My wife and I decided to try them and now we have a new favorite spot! The fruits are fresh and have good flavor and you get a good size bowl for the price.“

“My husband and I visited The Old Farmhouse Tea room this past Saturday 2/10/2024. It was just the 2 of us out on a date. Our server Katelyn (not sure if that's how her name is spelled) wad VERY NICE and professional and walked us through everything. The food was great, the service was FANTASTIC, and she was kind enough to take a picture of us. We hope to visit again, and next time we'll try the dinner option? “I went here with a family member and it was amazing! The chicken was a little overcooked but other than that the fries are soft and delicious but still have a little crisp texture to them and the service was great too.This place has some of the best milkshakes in town!Kid-friendliness: Allows you to bring your kids, including I’ve seen groups of kids walk in and just order something to eat and the staff are really friendly to them.“
“Well worth driving out of our way for this gem of a cafe! We had the special green matcha rose latte with oat milk, a cherry danish, the blueberry stuffed pancakes, and 'the all in' sandwich served on rye bread. The sandwich was divine, though would have been wonderful with some extra sauce. The danish was just as we expected it to taste. I requested it be toasted rather than warmed elsewhere. That made a worldly difference in texture appeal, to compliment the taste. The blueberry pancakes were good. Nothing over the top for that. The plate could have used some dressing up for serving the rolled up pancakes. Maybe a poof of whip cream on each side if the customer only orders the pancakes and no side. The latte was delicious, but too sweet. The sweetness did take away from the name of the drink. For it to be green matcha primarily, I would have adored more of that with hints of the other flavors for that specific signature drink.The staff was polite, well mannered, and had good energy. ?? ?The atmosphere was quaint, with some nice plants as decor, along with a micro gift/merchandise section. The seating area was a little too crammed for our liking, but for many cafés we have found this to be somewhat common depending on what appeal the business is going for. It's simply nice to be able to hear yourself think and connect with the people you arrive to eat with. It was crowed for brunch on a Monday, which we were happy to see for The Hive, nonetheless! It's clear the locals come often, which makes this a special spot. There is a nice couch/coffee table set up, which is where we chose to eat for the extra space. In addition, there is outdoor seating available for nicer weather days under an attached pavilion style picnic area.All-in-all, it was worth our spontaneous stop, and we will absolutely be back! “This location needs to change the drive thru layout or relocate. The space is not adequate for the amount of people they get during rush hour. Sometimes line is too long and goes into the street. The service is amazing though and quality of food and beverage is great!“
“I follow this place on Facebook but never knew exactly where it was. I drove past it so many times, never noticed. Then I'm at Sourh Hanover lakes, looking at the map, and noticed it was right there. Of course I had to try some coffee.They sell crafts too. Very nice server/cashier.“
“Not sure I want to give out the secret, the best Dunkin’ is hiding in Spring Grove! While all Dunkin’s have the same menu everyone loves, the Spring Grove location has the best service around. They are always fast, efficient and friendly! I’ve seen other locations with lines wrapping around the block, but here in spring grove, this crew knows how to keep it moving without sacrificing quality or friendliness!“
