“Excellent food at reasonable price, good service, cozy and so close to home!“

“I have celiac disease and hardly eat out because of cross- contamination and the fact that most people don’t understand the disease. I mentioned my concerns to the waitress. The manager came out and asked all the right questions. He reassured me that he has other customers who can’t eat gluten as well. He was very informed on what may be inside their sauces, including shrimp paste in case I had a sea food allergy. He assured me they would wash the pan before they made my food and they would be no cross-contamination. I had no negative effects at all. I really felt like they care about their customers. On top of that, the food was DELICIOUS! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our food. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were large. We loved the presentation of the food too. The bathroom was very clean which tells me that the kitchen is as well. We can’t wait to go back! My only tiny critique was that I didn’t see a need for the television to be on and maybe the lights could be a bit more dim. It was very comfortable however. They had plenty of cushions if you needed them to prop yourself up to the table. A fantastic experience! Try them today!

Vegetarian options: You can get everything vegetarian however there is oyster sauce and shrimp sauce in some of their food so ask before you order.

Dietary restrictions: I can’t have gluten or soy and they were very accommodating and they made me feel like they were concerned about my food, allergies.

Parking: Strip mall

Kid-friendliness: I took a 10-year-old there before to have sushi and she loved it. She had a fun time and everybody was very nice to her, including the other customers.

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s in a strip mall and a wheelchair would have no problem entering and being seated at a table“

“I got to see my favorite chef cook infront of me and my battle buddies from Drill and eat food that has been cooked infront of us. Everyone else in the table was satisfied for their plates. “We ordered delivery the beauty Alaskan roll and the torch roll. I love sushi but try not to eat much white rice so I was excited to see they had a black rice substitute option. I’ve never seen that at a sushi place before. It was a healthier substitute and still yummy and helped my sushi craving. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.“

“The staff was friendly and service was good but the place was so empty the atmosphere was kind of awkward. The Yellowtail Jalapeno and Shrimp Shumai were delicious. I also got the seafood ramen and while it wasn't bad it wasnt good. The vegetable broth was the best part, the mushroom, crabmeat and scallops were good, the fish cake looked cool but had no flavor and the Shrimp were awful. They were clearly thawed frozen shrimp and they were hard and just gross. I would not order this again but I would try a different ramen on the menu.“

“One of the best Sushi restaurants around. I worked with the Owner 18 years ago and when he left being a sushi chef where I was Bartender to open his own restaurant, that was the best decision he could have made! Show your support and go have dinner there! Everything on the menu is amazing!!!“

“Sunnys has been great I always devour their wings with shrimp fried rice extra spicy, I never had a problem with my order, and they even have a delicious breakfast spot next door called Chun House that I go to on the regular as well French toast SOOO good their don't knock it till you try it.“

“I was in the area and saw they had pork katsudon (my favorite meal). It was delicious. This place primarily does takeout but they have two small tables for dining in. Staff checked on me a few times while I was eating and were very nice. I didn’t actually ask, but I am not sure they have a publicly accessible bathroom.“

Top notch on the presentation of the food. I can't comment on the ramen but it looked good. My chicken katsu was okay. Nothing to rave about. They served me the miso soup first which makes sense but traditionally the miso should have come with the meal as it goes well when eating the katsu and rice. It was also missing some shredded cabbage which should automatically come with the meal. Just my little recommendation. Beside that the sushi roll that I got was good. I wasn't expecting to look like what I got but it was good. I would recommend the roll.Overall this is a good place to get some sushi and Japanese food. I would come back again to try out other rolls.

“My family had a wonderful time here for my son's 11th birthday! He wanted to try out the hibachi experience, so we reserved a hibachi table. There was another family at the table across from us enjoying a meal as well. The food was incredible (though not one of us managed to catch a piece of it in our mouths), my husband said it was the best meal he's had all year. The hibachi room is decorated with murals of video game & cartoon characters like Mario & SpongeBob, which was great because my son is a gamer. We brought a birthday cake in with us, and the other family joined in to sing "Happy Birthday" & shared his cake with us. The service was great. It was an all around wonderful time, & we will definitely be returning!“

“I think this place can qualify as a hidden gem. Media is a nice little town with some great restaurants. But Tamaki sushi's food is consistently delicious. Their sushi is easily the best in Delco. Everything comes out fresh from their small kitchen. Even on a Saturday night it's never packed in there. I give Tamaki a secret 5 stars.“
