“After getting food poisoning from Great Wall, I found Rice House. They have the absolute most incredible and fresh food. I highly recommend getting their coconut chicken, honey chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, egg rolls, their duck sauce is the best. Their portions are very generous and they have lunch specials up until 3 PM every day. My daughter and I absolutely love this restaurant and the owners are so sweet. •Braised pork belly tapas, ultra sumptuous with sweetened, soy sauced pork belly meat cubes with complete layering including translucent gelatinous pork skin. Ultra satisfying bite. Slivers of spinach in sauce perfect for flavoring rice
•Sauteed Mongolian beef, more like iron plate beef with the smokey wok hei kind of flavor vs sauced Mongolian but enjoyable still. Purple onion refreshingly crunchy and slightly sweet

The Singapore mei fun is chock full of deliciousness, the lo mein isn’t greasy or stingy on the veggies, and the staff is super sweet.

The owner was very sweet and thoughtful which I truly appreciated. The food however wasn't the best tasting in the city. The chicken wings were the best part but barely noteworthy. It tastes like my shrimp and broccoli has been seasoned with old bay and my white rice was a bit soft. The fried was was tasty but the general tso chicken was small and a little chewy. Cheesesteak Roll was good. Overall I'm not disappointed with my experience but I would have second thoughts about returning.“

“Moved to the area 5 years ago. Have struggled to find a half decent Chinese restaurant anywhere nearby. After dozens of really terrible local options we just gave up. In a desperate need to feed the family without time to go grocery shopping, I finally tried Golden Key. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and food is as decent as I make from scratch at home.

Most notably, they seem to make an effort to wash their vegetables really well. I can rarely eat restaurant vegetables 'cause they're so poorly cleaned & still covered in industrial ag chemicals (I work in the industry, as such I'm sensitized to the chemicals. Any residual in the produce I consume makes me sick)“

The other Chinese place in Lansdowne is dirty and gross, so I'd been going to Drexel Hill for CJ Wok. Which was my plan this evening, but I was at the light on Marshall road and saw a woman cleaning the front door of Hong Kong Kitchen. Decided to order from there. The Shrimp and Snow Peas were pretty good, as was the hot and sour soup. I'm going to try this place again and order different things.... and I may be increasing this to a 5 star review.“

General Tso's is always delicious tho sometimes I wish it was a little crispier. For whatever reason their Lo Mein is pretty bad anymore, used to be great. Food is always ready very fast, even delivery arrives really quick compared to anywhere else we order delivery from.
