“I placed a mobile order and once I got there it was not ready yet. No biggie at all I had placed the order about 10 min prior to arriving and it’s not an issue to wait.We waited maybe 3-5 minutes (if that)before getting our food. They were very apologetic and gave us coupons for the wait and inconvenience. Absolutely shocked by this amazing service! Especially for a evening shift! You really don’t get that nowadays and this honestly made date night so much better! Their attitudes towards the situation was perfect! WHO EVER WAS WORKING DRIVE THRU AT THIS LOCATION AROUND 5-6pm DESERVES A RAISE!!!“

“My wife and I made a stop here while passing through Dormont, PA and it was a great little breakfast find. The place has a warm, rustic vibe, and our waitress was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Sparkie’s Omelette—which comes with kielbasa, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut—and while it may sound like an odd combo, it was on point. Paired with home fries and wheat toast, everything hit the spot. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and good service.....can’t ask for more from a diner breakfast.“

“While in Pittsburgh for a conference, I came across this place with the groups of ladies I was with. The food was AMAZING!!! I have been dreaming of the roasted carrot taco ever since! My husband asked to plan a trip to Pittsburgh next year for the NFL draft- I only agreed because he promised me we could eat at this restaurant! Looking forward to that a year from now!!!“

“Amazing family owned mexican joint. They are open early and never disappoint. I've eaten my way through most of the menu and have ordered things I didn't know what they were and I myself could not pronounce, each item has always been delicious and made with love. The food is always fresh and served with a smile. It's authentic and in my opinion some of the best tacos you can get in the area ( and there are a ton of taco places near by, this is by far my favorite).
Gordita and chiliquiles are also some of my favorites here. Fully stocked fridge with every flavor of jaritos, mineragua, as well as some house made drinks. They have a handful of indoor seats as well as a patio with tables and chairs for the warmer months. Always hits!!!“

“The food is delicious!
My only issue with it is the portion size. I’m a fairly average size girl and it fills me up, but it would be great to have leftovers! The food only fills about half of the bowl and doesn’t reflect the photos from their website.
As for the pick up it was super easy to do, just click the link and open the locker! It also was made super fast, the food was ready before I got to the pick up location and I had only left about 10 minutes earlier.
Other than the portion sizes I’m super happy about the quality of food, I’d eat here over chipotle any day of the week.“

“Wonderful Central American restaurant. We had pupusas that were super rico. Perfectly made and comparable to in other cities. Comes with great curtido (lightly pickled spicy cabbage) of course, and nice horchata. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic affordable and friendly Salvadoran place in the PGH area! Must visit and is conveniently on the red line of the T light rail so very easy to visit from downtown. “I got chilaquiles the other day, I think it’ll be better if you use the tortillas or the tortilla soup for the chilaquiles, the salsa was sweet, the beans super watery and the rice was so salty I couldn’t eat them. On the other hand I’ve had the veggie tacos and they are very good but I’ve found pieces of ground beef which was very unpleasant but I’d be willing to try them again“

“We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“
