“I ran into Pattis today to get a dozen cookies. I’ve always wanted to try her soup and today she had Cabbage Beef. I just sat down to eat it for dinner and couldn’t believe how amazing it smelled. It was truly homemade and had amazing flavor. If you don’t feel like cooking check out her monthly soup calendar. I look forward to trying more of her soups.”

It had been a minute since I ordered from here as usually my order was messed up etc. today I was craving one of their chicken salads so I decided to get that and a pizza for my kids. Both items were amazing and perfect! I understand this place is under new ownership. The manager/owner even brought the food to my car and chit chatted with me a bit. 10/10 customer service. This makes a big difference.”

“We have always gotten our special occasion cakes here. They have always been decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. Just recently, our kids got my retirement cake here. It was moist and tasted wonderful, but the decorating was disappointing. Icing colors were dark and the writing left much to be desired. Icing flowers weren't that great.They used to have a lady that wrote in calligraphy and the cakes were decorated so beautifully, that you didn't want to cut it!! They used to decorate with the most beautiful flowers and ask you what kind you wanted on the cake. We were disappointed with the decorated part...not the taste of the cake.”

“I really don’t understand the negative reviews at this restaurant. My daughter and I have been ordering from here for years and we’ve also been inside the restaurant to eat many times and we’ve never had a problem. Their food is very good. It’s always hot when we get it And it tastes fresh to us. I was very happy to hear the buffet was back and it’s just as good as it always was. I wouldn’t hesitate to go eat there again. We eat there a couple of times a month.”

“Never had a problem with this location until yesterday. This is disgusting and it should have never been served. Thus is supposed to be the fish sandwich. Not only is it beyond burnt, it was saturated in grease like it was sitting for awhile.”

“We were leaving a funeral service in the evening of 9/9/25, and had reservations at Tillies for 20 people. When we showed up they acted like we were a bother. Insanely rude to everyone. The last thing a family should be dealing with at that time. I made a game time decision at that point, I stepped outside and I called Luciano’s around 7pm on a hope and prayer that last second they would be able to accommodate 20 people and told them our situation. Luciano’s was absolutely SO kind. They asked how long until we would be there, I said “20 minutes”. They said “we’ll be ready”. We all got up and left Tillies, and 20 minute later got to Luciano’s. They had tables lined up and ready for our party. Our two servers were so absolutely amazing I wish I could remember their names. But just 2 awesome young ladies. They were so kind to a family that just lost a loved one. The service, the food, the compassion was just out of this world. Everyone was so happy. Thank you guys so much for making a very gloom, and sad day much better for this family. We’ve always liked the food here but now we will be making a point to visit much more often. Thank you so much, again.”

“Ordered a whole fish sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato,onion and cheese and it was great.But the next time I get one and I will I will ask to have the bun toasted . And the customer service was was great also ,they were very kind to me . Can't wait to try other things on the menu.”

“3 separate arguments occurred while we were there on lunch break. One angry customer holding up the line with 1 worker, then the other worker was snippy to an online customer who was picking up. 15 minutes later the worker walked to the car if another customer who had words. Worker cane back in and that customer started to drive away, then pull back in parking space and stormed in. We saw that happen and we threw our food away and rushed out the door. That's my last trip to that location.
Price was also not worth the effort.”

“For six years I have been looking for a new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh since my old favorite one closed. I have never found a place that had the perfect food and atmosphere I was looking for until I entered Lilith last night. Everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The service from being greeted to the absolutely awesome server we had was excellent! The food had a wow factor rarely found in Pittsburgh. I’m not usually a huge fan of how vegetables are cooked most places and the veggies in my dish just blew things out of the water. You could tell they were fresh and local too. The fish I had was just amazing. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Needless to say I will be back again and again now to experience more culinary delights!”

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“Stopped here after Steel City Con for lunch. I grew up on the VA/NC border, and I’m used to having good BBQ. No doubt, Big Rig might be the best barbecue I’ve ever had anywhere. I was in a group of four big dudes, and everyone loved their various dishes and the portions are huge. Great service, great food. 100% will be back again.”
