We had a blast, and honestly the bartenders both Friday & Saturday night made our experience top notch! They were conversational, knowledgeable of the area, friendly, easy going, funny, and overall the high-light of our stay. They handled our large party with ease and respect. We were definitely loud and roudy and they adapted to that 💯 and made our stay pleasant. Billy & Hunter are both class acts and next time we visit the area, we hope they're working because they will be the reason we stay in the Holiday Inn again. 😊 If you stay here, definitely consider a sit down at The James, and when you do, i hope you have a chance to meet these two wonderful bartenders! 🥰 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Idk what his name was but one of the employees just told me I brightened his day. Let me tell you that brightened my day, and was very unexpected. He was also very polite and even told me not to apologize for not being able to tip more than I had. (I felt $1 on a $54 order was just way too small and hated that I didn't have more cash to tip with.) He told me "Don't ever apologize for what you tip, we are grateful no matter what" You don't see a lot of people like that in the food industry and it was a great experience! Also our food was delicious as always! Thank you!!!”

“Great fast food. Seated to check in 50 minutes. Food was delicious. Hot rolls are carried to your table as you are seated. Comes with cinnamon tasting butter if you like that. Ordered appetizer. Got salad first. Them appetizer one minute later. Was still eating appetizer when entree appeared. Took salad home. Felt rushed. So depends if you want a dining experience or just want to eat quick. But good food never the less.”

There was one person working and we were convinced we were gonna be there forever. Somehow she knocked out two cold sub sandwiches, two grilled pita sandwiches, some garlic cheese bread, and two fountain sodas in under 15 minutes.

She's a rockstar.

Parking: Not a lot of street spots available. The lot catty corner will run you about $2 for an hour or two. Not worth the ticket even on a Saturday.

Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here. It's no Chuck E. Cheese, but they'll be okay.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can eat here if you're in a wheelchair. Door is wide enough and the tables move around.”

“The women who work in the coffee shop are second to none as far as friendliness (even when it’s busy). However, the gentleman making the coffee is probably the rudest barista in town. I spend a fair amount of time in there and to watch him yell at a woman in her 70s and be rude to every other customer because he’s busy is absolutely unacceptable. When I tried to make a comment in reference to understanding it had been a rough week, I was verbally attacked by another customer who was cheered on by the barista. If you’re stressed about the amount of orders, train someone to help you with the coffee, don’t take your frustration out on paying customers. I still give them 4 of 5 stars, but only because the other employees and owner are so kind. Their day shouldn’t be spent apologizing for his attitude.”

“Me and my husband bought our wedding cake from Le Decorant and it was absolutely the best tasting cake we have ever eaten, so many people at our reception bragged on how beautiful and delicious it was. I highly HIGHLY recommend Ms Mercedes and her business Le Decorant! We couldn’t be happier with the service from Ms Mercedes and her kindness. She went above and beyond for our special day with our beautiful cake. I haven’t gotten back photos from our photographer yet but I will be posting as soon as we get them back.

Parking: You Must travel East on Little League Blvd. until you get to Pine Street, then turn North and a quick right after the light into the parking lot.(this is only viable depending on which direction you are traveling, so it would be opposite if you are traveling from the West)

Kid-friendliness: The owner has children and you will see them learning the family business even at a young age. Very inspiring to see them learning about their family's business.

Wheelchair accessibility: They are located in a Mall type area, so there are already ramps on this property.”

I'm very glad that we have a local pub/bar with entertainment that is within a mile radius of Lake Wynonah. That is the great news however: I do have some concerns for the owner and establishment.It appeared to me that the bartenders there on Sunday we're very unexperienced and didn't have any training. They appeared lost on the POS system and the one was way over pouring drinks. The wait time for the food was entirely too long for the crowd that was there.I am kind of disappointed because I really want this place to survive and do well. Having 6 years of experience in successfully managing a bar, I'm not sure if Southern Grill will survive if there are not protocols put in place and people trained well to work as a team.I really hope I'm wrong because I really enjoyed myself over the weekend.”
