“Prior to visiting Franco’s I wouldn’t have considered myself an expert on Italian cuisine. However, upon tasting the (highly recommended by locals) food, I now know what Italian food is supposed to taste like. Perfection across the board…the food, the service, the owners…not fussy, not fancy, just exactly what it should be. The lasagna will heal lifelong soul wounds, the fettuccine Alfredo with a meatball will comfort you beyond expectations, and the meat ravioli will make you realize that a simple dish has surprising nuances of flavor you weren’t expecting. I live an hour and a half from Franco’s. I would make the trip to Williamsport even if this was the only place I would go.”

“I went the week before Christmas to celebrate my best friend and my birthday…it was an amazing time. The staff was amazing could answer questions about certain types of beer. I wanted a pint glass so bad to purchase but there weren’t any on the shelf. I asked a worker if they had any in the back and showed him a picture…out he came with two brand new pint glasses. They are always coming out with new flavors that my friend and I can’t keep up! Awesome place to visit! Definitely 5 stars 🌟”

We had a blast, and honestly the bartenders both Friday & Saturday night made our experience top notch! They were conversational, knowledgeable of the area, friendly, easy going, funny, and overall the high-light of our stay. They handled our large party with ease and respect. We were definitely loud and roudy and they adapted to that 💯 and made our stay pleasant. Billy & Hunter are both class acts and next time we visit the area, we hope they're working because they will be the reason we stay in the Holiday Inn again. 😊 If you stay here, definitely consider a sit down at The James, and when you do, i hope you have a chance to meet these two wonderful bartenders! 🥰 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Great fast food. Seated to check in 50 minutes. Food was delicious. Hot rolls are carried to your table as you are seated. Comes with cinnamon tasting butter if you like that. Ordered appetizer. Got salad first. Them appetizer one minute later. Was still eating appetizer when entree appeared. Took salad home. Felt rushed. So depends if you want a dining experience or just want to eat quick. But good food never the less.”

“Wanted a quick sandwich for lunch and search engine lead us to Casale's. It's very old school: you walk up to the counter, place the order, and whenever it's ready the server brings it to your table.

There was one person working and we were convinced we were gonna be there forever. Somehow she knocked out two cold sub sandwiches, two grilled pita sandwiches, some garlic cheese bread, and two fountain sodas in under 15 minutes.

She's a rockstar.

Parking: Not a lot of street spots available. The lot catty corner will run you about $2 for an hour or two. Not worth the ticket even on a Saturday.

Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here. It's no Chuck E. Cheese, but they'll be okay.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can eat here if you're in a wheelchair. Door is wide enough and the tables move around.”

So I found Joy Thai on Uber Eats in Williamsport and ordered a salad, some hot ginger tea, and an iced Thai coffee. It was amazing! “Service was great, everyone was really friendly. The food was very good. The kids split a mozzarella stick appetizer, and i got the artichoke dip appetizer. However, my son didn't care much for the ravioli he got. He took it home in a to-go container. My daughter reheated it at home and said that the ravioli was lacking- they were cheese ravioli and she said that they didn't really have flavor to them, like no seasoning- it just had cheese in them and the cheese wasn't that flavorful. I didn't try them, so I am not sure. I had chicken marsala and the chicken gnocchi soup, which was really great. My daughter got the chicken Alfredo, and she said it was good. Both my kids ate up the breadsticks. My son got the black tie mouse cake, I didn't get a picture, but he really enjoyed it. We had stopped in for dinner on the way home from vacation. It was a lot of food and we had plenty to take home.
They do have vegetarian meal options, but we didn't try any of them.

Vegetarian options: You must ask, or even request, and see a menu.

Dietary restrictions: You can always ask them to consider this and they usually have an option for customers.

Parking: You Must travel East on Little League Blvd. until you get to Pine Street, then turn North and a quick right after the light into the parking lot.(this is only viable depending on which direction you are traveling, so it would be opposite if you are traveling from the West)

Kid-friendliness: The owner has children and you will see them learning the family business even at a young age. Very inspiring to see them learning about their family's business.

Wheelchair accessibility: They are located in a Mall type area, so there are already ramps on this property.”

“I was there on Sunday August 20th to hear the band and have a few drinks. The band was amazing to say the least. Turkey hoagie very good as well as my Captain and Coke. I'm very glad that we have a local pub/bar with entertainment that is within a mile radius of Lake Wynonah. That is the great news however: I do have some concerns for the owner and establishment.It appeared to me that the bartenders there on Sunday we're very unexperienced and didn't have any training. They appeared lost on the POS system and the one was way over pouring drinks. The wait time for the food was entirely too long for the crowd that was there.I am kind of disappointed because I really want this place to survive and do well. Having 6 years of experience in successfully managing a bar, I'm not sure if Southern Grill will survive if there are not protocols put in place and people trained well to work as a team.I really hope I'm wrong because I really enjoyed myself over the weekend.”
