“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.“

“They have a seasonal plant-forward menu, and overall the food was very good. We got the sourdough focaccia, beet salad, heirloom tomato salad, sungold tomato pappardelle, and stuff pepper with romesco. The tomato dishes were my favorite. You can really taste the quality of ingredients, and I love the additional of fermented items. It’s worth coming out of your way for.“

“Philly's got some solid vegan restaurants but in my experience, this is the only one where Dr. Michael Greger may drop in to see Chef Alice and crash your lunch party. But that's not even my favorite part about this place — it's a cafe really devoted to the mission of nourishing health through good food. A lot of the meat-free restaurants in town serve tasty food but aren't exactly in the ballpark of WFPB — whereas Joy is looking to add years to your healthspan... without selling short on flavor! Alice is a quintessential crusader restaurateur. I also appreciate the gluten-free options, and I congratulate myself for the dignity I exhibited last visit when I abstained from eating the paper wrapper of my blueberry muffin in desperation to get every crumb down.“

I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! I highly recommend you check out Vernick Fish. We will definitely return!“

Delivery was super fast, and the pizzas arrived hot and crispy on the bottom with perfectly gooey, flavorful cheese on top. It’s BYOB and one of the wine bottle we brought had a cork that disintegrated and they kindly filtered it all out and put it in a decanter for us. Every single course was delicious!! We each got a different appetizer, two different entrées, and two different desserts. Every one of the appetizers was amazing, but I thought the wax beans by far were the best. The carrots were also delicious and everyone really loved the rice noodles too. Each dish was unique and super flavorful!! The steak appetizer was excellent. My scallops were good but not my favorite mix. The desserts were very good and we had to get them to go so I’m sure they would have been even better fresh. I will 1000% be back. They were very accommodating to our requirements and went beyond our expectations. If you are looking to have a large gathering I will definitely recommend doing a buyout. We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. The décor is very pleasant and we didn't need to do anything additional They provided us two stations for our henna ladies. Our function was a big hit. “The Naked Lunch salad bar is named after the (in)famous novel by William S. Burroughs, and by extension the famous obscenity trial involving the book. It stands for freedom, honesty, and the American way. And it's connected to Mom's Organic Market, which is a grocery store every vegan should probably visit at least once. As far as genuinely health promoting options in Center City, it's pretty hard to beat--whether you want to promote your own physical health or that of our environment and our economy. Not only will the food here give you a healthy glow, but the produce itself almost has a glow to it. I swear, this place has the most beautiful, dark, soft kale I’ve ever seen served, which contrasts beautifully with the vibrant and bright colours of toppings like red cabbage and bell peppers. The salads are expertly tossed, always balanced, and always delicious. And while the menu doesn't offer much variety beyond salads, soups du jour, fresh juices, and dense baked goods, it's also directly connected to the grocery store, as stated earlier, meaning you can grab all manner of other a la carte items with a meal here. Did I mention that the main seating area to eat here is up above the checkout at the store and gives you a birds’ eye view of all the grocery goings-on? Only other real downside I can think of is that it can get busy and there can be a wait if you are ever hear at the peak lunchtime hour.“
