“We went on a Sunday, it was busy for a Sunday night but the waitress did an amazing job handling everyone we never had to try hard to get her attention. There was a burlesque show that was fun to watch. The murder mystery game was a good surprise. Great for groups we had good laughs and really enjoyed our time. The drinks were so tasty and the Brie was amazing as well!

“I went to Mollie on three separate occasions to have their brunches. The food was delicious, fresh, and the portions were very generous compared to other restaurants I have eaten at. They also serve alot of fruits on your plate. The desserts prepared by Ally are to die for. The service is great and the employees are very attentive. The bathrooms are very clean, which is very important to me. I live on the south shore and travel to Montreal just to have my breakfast at Mollie.“

“The Lomo Saltado dish was great, hits the taste buds really well. The El Cacao desert is the cherry on top after a Lomo Saltado. The yuca fries on the other hand are a 5/10 as i prefer the texture and flavour of a fresh cut yuca fry instead of this iteration of a yuca fry. But others may enjoy this type of yuca fry, the sauces with this are great too.

“My wife and I had a fantastic evening here on Friday. It has a warm atmosphere that made us want to stay much longer than we would have normally. The food was exquisite, and a good value for the quality provided. The wine list was extensive, featuring wines from several French regions, as well as some from Italy, Spain, US, and Canada. The servers were attentive, speaking French and English, and there was a sommelier on staff to help with the wine. The plates weren’t overly large, but we were quite filled after three courses, wine, and an aperitif. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.“

J’ai commander le drink Preach’s peach pour sa composition et le magnifique verre annoncé sur le menu (flamingo). Malheureusement, le drink n’a pas été servi dans le verre tant attendu. Dans ce genre d’endroit, la présentation fait toute la différence pour justifier un cocktail à 25$. J’aurais apprécier qu’on me renseigne que le verre n’était pas disponible ce soir-là. J’aurais probablement opter vers un autre cocktail à un prix plus modeste. Ceci dit, le goût était bon. Nous ne recommandons pas les spritz sans alcool qui sont à notre goût fade et simplement amer. Un ajout de sirop simple pourrait probablement balancer l’amerture de ce drink qui est normalement délicieux avec du mousseux, bien entendu. Pour terminer, le cocktail bleu dont je ne me souvient plus le nom était le highlight de la soirée. Je retournerais au MilkyWay pour retenter l’expérience :) Au plaisir,“

“This is one of my favourite places to go when I want to wind down from my work and also see a comedy show! It's really close, near the Guy-Concordia station in a cozy spot on Rue Mackay. All of the bartenders are great and they all know you by name, which makes it really personal They also have a really great comedy night on Tuesdays that features a variety of local Montreal comedians and occasional famous person.

What I love is that they take risks with experimenting with different types of cocktails each week, often offering them as specials. They have this new cocktail called 'noire et epice' which is a type of pumpkin spice espresso martini that I HIGHLY recommend.“

Karina, their event manager, and another gentleman (Matt? I cannot remember his name, but he was the banquet captain) were there with us pretty much the whole night, which was so helpful when little questions came up.

“Date night with wife. Walked in around midnight on a Friday and was seated right away at the bar. Bartender was super friendly. Made me a few cocktails that were off menu. We ordered the popcorn (crazy good) and the beef tartar (also very good). We had such a good time that we went back the next night and had the popcorn again and tried the kale caesar which was also outstanding. All of the cocktails were excellent on the menu as well. Great spot!!“

the men's washroom had two bottles of lotion but no soap for some reason, like there were clearly empty holders where the soap should be. Our server passed on the issue quickly once signaled but I've never seen something so obviously wrong at a high end hotel.“

“I went to la belle et la boeuf in Laval a month ago and it was so good I ordered the same thing today at le dix30 and my lacked flavour and and taste needed a little more of its ingredients. My boyfriend however enjoyed his smash burger. I ordered a shirley temple and had to turn it back because it was made with soda and not 7up twice. Too bad, worst part is that i was craving this meal since last time i had gone but it didn't hit the spot.“

“So, this review is a little different from most, because people often come to a place one time experience a good thing and drop a positive review. I on the other hand expect consistency and I am a little on the OCD side, especially when I travel. That just means I find the restaurants that I like and I have been known to eat the same meals two days in a row. One of the things that stands out immediately to me is that for the most part you have the same staff working dinner or evening shifts as you do the brunch on Saturday and Sunday. This makes for long days but it produces consistency. Timeliness and courtesy are number one for the ladies on the floor. Attention to detail is critical to the men on the cookline, as each plate comes out as an arrangement of food, not simply a pile of ingredients. I was in Montreal for a conference from Friday to Sunday so I was able to eat 2 dinners and 2 brunches, and I have to say they were quite exceptional. I do give the brunch a slight tip of the cap for being more consistent of the two meals and having the best consistency with the Big Brunch, the Americano, and the fresh squeezed juice. It is probably one of the best breakfast/brunches I have had since Verviers, Brussels in 2019. The Big Brunch consisted of fried sunny side up eggs, a sausage, fried potatoes with hollandaise, cubed fresh tomato, sourdough toast, fresh Americano, and fresh orange and grapefruit juice. The flavors work together to complement each other with the eggs having been lightly peppered by the chef and maybe fried in the salty fat from the sausage to give them the right amount of seasoning. Dinner the first day I had a beer and a ribeye prepared medium rare with pepper seasoning and a brown gravy accompanying the pureed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly. The next night I had the charcutier meat with sourdough, which was a nice assortment of the traditional fare one might find. It would have been nice to have found a smaller plate that include both meat and cheese. I did have a bottle of the California 2020 Elizabeth Spencer Cab and it paired well with everything, sometimes a little fruity and others a little spicy depending on how the notes hit the palette. Dinner was the same as the night before, but although the ribeye was ordered medium rare it came out more to medium. That was a little disappointing, but still satisfying in the end. To finish my meal I had the brownie with pecan crumble and sauce which finished off the bottle of Cab perfectly. This morning I had an amazing brunch again, and now I must say adieu as I head to the airport to return home.“
