“Nice little cafe with a selection of coffees, teas and small bites/sandwiches and friendly staff. There was a mixed crowd, with some students working and other people just chatting over coffee. Of note is that they offer lactose free and nut milk at no charge. We ordered a cortado and mochaccino, both were very good. Overall, great spot to warm up and enjoy a coffee and chat.“

“Nice pastries and great coffee“

“Cute coffee shop/ coffee roaster. They have a huge variety but the coffee is very pricey. I asked a few questions and the person at the cash was rude and told me all the prices varied and didn’t offer to help me find anything. I think some price tags on the bags could be helpful, as only the bags of 1 brand around 40$ + have prices listed.
I ended up picking a 30$ 350g bag, a bit pricey but is very good coffee; worth the price but not necessarily my daily coffee budget. If you need a specialty coffee this is the spot.
They have a nice seating area, great location next to the canal to take coffee roaster go for a walk.“

“I passed there all the time and it is always packed with great looking people and the baristas are all so congenial..smiling faces , great place. And they let me post my music poster there.. The good looking barista even offered me some tape to get my poster up. She's lovely !“

“Very cozy quiet little restaurant in old port.
Had a tasting menu and it was 50/50 delicious and so so. (Hence the 4stars) service was a little slow but not unreasonable. I enjoyed myself and would recommend this place to a friend.“

“Went there when they opened at 7:30am on a weekday. Soon there was a queue so it’s not difficult to tell how popular they are.

Ordered a flat white and was pleasantly surprised by the coffee itself (trust me I’ve tasted so much burnt coffees in my life) and their croissant is more of the European type. Can tell they focus a lot on quality.“

Strawberry Matcha Cake: Good matcha taste, not too sweet. Soft and tender. Could use more strawberry slices!
Tiramisu: lots of espresso powder, pillowy soft but still rich in mascarpone.
Noir hot chocolates: Tastes like the smell of Kilians Angels Share! For a hot chocolate, it has depth!“

“I had a lovely experience at Bistro de la Cité on Avenue du Parc. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the service was very good. I had the pleasure of sitting inside, where I could enjoy my meal in a quiet, clean environment. The staff was completely bilingual, which made it even more comfortable. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast, and I would definitely recommend it.“

“What a delightful treat at Cocktail Hawaii in Montreal! I ordered the Atayef Bil Ashta, and it was pure heaven! The pancakes were perfectly soft and fluffy, stuffed with a rich, creamy ashta that had just the right hint of rose and orange blossom flavors. The generous topping of crushed pistachios and a drizzle of honey elevated it to another level—sweet, nutty, and absolutely indulgent. The vibrant, tropical vibe of the place made it such a fun spot to enjoy this Middle Eastern classic. The staff were super friendly and quick, making the experience even better. “I can't believe the best café in all of Montreal is just down the street from where I live. I spent my summer going around, trying lattés at every café imaginable. (It was a fun summer!) Magda is hands down my favorite! So happy to have you in the neighborhood!“

“This is a really location for a coffee shop on the ground floor of the Royal Bank Tower along Rue Saint-Jacques. There is a fair amount of indoor seating in a charming early 20th-century bank or even rail station like environs. They have work areas you can rent for longer stays and you can do take-away as well. We found the queue fairly long when we arrived on a Monday afternoon. Waited around 15 minutes to arrive at order counter. Americano was ok, Allonge better and Cortado probably the best drink on the day. Lemon slice served with cake was fine. On the whole, the coffee and afternoon snack were ok at Crew Collective, had better elsewhere in Montreal during this particular trip but the environs here are great. This is a really neat place to sit and enjoy a cup of joe if you get the chance.“
