Definitely a go to if you like to order a bunch of different small plates to share. Get the dessert. The carrot cake ice cream cake with toffee dripping was amazing. “We went out for dinner last night with friends and had the best time! First, it had to be one of the best meals I have eaten out in a long time. Everything was delicious! From the scallops, the fois gras breakfast sandwich, steak frites, cod and the incredible sourdough bread and butter (ordered it twice), we savoured every bite. Then the dessert after was the cherry on top! I have to say thank you so much to Cece (sorry if I spelled it wrong), she made our night so relaxed and memorable. “Went here last night with my wife, and 10 year old daughter. Great location, wonderful and friendly staff. We had raw oysters, lobster fettuccine, risotto, bone marrow, a couple drinks and dessert. Was great food, and experience. We would definitely return next time we are in town.“

“Tucked away at the back of a church this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We sat at the chefs table and were able to see all the food being prepared and ask the chefs more details about the food. We had the wine pairing menu which was excellent. Our server was very accommodating as one of the wines was not to our taste and they quickly replaced it with an excellent choice. The flavours in each course were delicious and made want to savour every bite. We will definitely be returning to Restaurant Candide again.“

J'ai dégusté le homard avec son riz, la sauce à ail et la salade avec tqble d'hôte! le homard, un vrai délice!! fin, doux onctueux !! “I was going a little backwards to the restaurant considering my experience at the Enfants Terribles of Brossard, but SURPRISE; big crush on the option chosen this time. I admit, however, that for $21 without the addition of grilled chicken the dish would have seemed more of a starter than a main meal. That said, with the chicken which was, in my opinion, one of the most tender I have ever eaten, it was perfect!

Service is quick although the place was packed, We tried the special stingray and steak dishes, very tasty although the ray is a bit difficult to eat and doesn't have much meat. Focaccia bread was amazing. Menu changes often so the best is to take the tasting chef menu. Although it's very good, it feels overpriced for the simple seating and service.“

This one was a bit too easy to find but it made enjoying the delightful cocktails even easier. Thomas was a gracious host and Leo behind the bar a true mixology craftsman.

I enjoyed the house negroni and based on that, followed it up with Leo’s choice. He picked the Side Car for me. Direct hit! Way to go Leo!!

I went today to order a large regular poutine at the counter and everything seemed good to me? I don't understand the bad comments. The quality, quantity and taste of my poutine was excellent. The counter service is good... the lady is nice and friendly. And as for the decoration of the restaurant, it was quite correct for a snack bar type restaurant. Of course, if you are a regular at a 5-star restaurant... This may not be the place for you. I can't judge the toilets though because I haven't been there.

In short, I highly recommend this place for value for money.“
