“Second time ordering from here and ive been happy both times.I’m from jersey/new york area so I consider myself spoiled when it comes to chinese food. In my opinion, this is the best chinese restaurant around the providence area. In the past, I would wait for a Boston trip to visit chinatown and satisfy the craving. I’ve only tried three items, but they were all comforting and flavorful. I got the spicy chicken wings, the beef and string beans, and the pork dumplings. I don’t get to buy food out too often anymore because budget has been tight, but I’m willing/happy to spend here bc it feels worth it :) i was having a bad day today and takeout from here genuinely made me feel lots better. Thank you Chong Qing House. Id post photos but my partner and I ate most of it haha“

“just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!“

“I ordered lobster sauce it was a different kind it had vegetables in it I never had that kind before not what I expected I drove all the way home after two stops to see some vegetables floating in my lobster sauce like what was that so sad I was so hungry too but they have good food here generally appetizers are great“

Its not so salty like standard Chinese food. Always leaves my mouth feel like I've been open mouth swimming in the ocean, and bloated like a beached whale.

“I have ordered from China Gourmet for many, many years, as long as they have had a restaurant there, Hands down they are the best Chinese restaurant that I have ever gotten food from. The food is delicious and they have never confused an order. I always get an order when we have company and everyone else is also extremely pleased! The owners are friendly and just as lovely as they can be!!“

“This is my go to Asian food. I know Mr. Chen gets all the print....and I have nothing against them...I go there a lot. But, these are the closest egg rolls to the old China Royal in Fall River. Just my opinion. Better fried rice, better chicken finger, better ribs, better egg roll. Me. Chen has them on the Chow Foon. And, the crab Rangoon is just as good“

“Vickie has been a mainstay for over 10 years. When I stay in the area this is my go to spot. The food is made fresh, portions last me 2 days, and it is very tasty. In NYC there is a lot of good Chinese food and Vickie's is up there with the best! Remember to bring cash.“

“The food was wonderful and customer service was top notch! I ordered pickup and my order was placed into reinforced bags, the food was sealed to avoid spilling, and they even put cardboard at the bottom of the back for stability. Now, this seems like something that should be standard, but it is not or rather, it is no longer a standard. The food was clean and not greasy, just overall a wonderful experience! I ordered Beef Chow Mei Fun, which is beef with rice noodles and vegetables in a soy-based sauce. If you haven’t tried Mei Fun, it’s wonderful! I will definitely be back, thank you!

“This food is probably the most authentic Chinese Food in the city. Not only was it clean when I walked in the very kind cook was very nice. He cooked the food right in front of me. And very relaxing Chinese culture music was playing in the back while I waited. :) The lady who answered the phone was also very kind. It's very rare to find authentic kindness and good food all in one spot. Definitely the gem of Fall River. You won't be disappointed ?. Support small business like this! Oh and worth the money if you want amazing tasting food!“
