New American Restaurants near Exeter, RI

“Stumbled upon this awesome place on a “Sunday Drive” from CT. The food was excellent, the Staff, beyond friendly!! In the most positive way. Had the burger and onion rings. Cooked exactly like I would have on my grill at home! Excellent! Wife had fish and chips and there was nothing left for me to pick at after my burger! She said it was light, fluffy and the outside just crispy enough. Great beer selection too! Tried a local RI beer. Lawn Boy. Very good!

If I am ever up this way again I am making time to come back. So worth the side quest!

“we have been there for their Breakfast, and Dinner. both were superb! the new owner greeted us upon sitting down , took the time to listen to us, and came back after our meal to make sure everything was good. No complaints here! 10 out of 10!!“

“I met up with a family member here yesterday for lunch. We live in different states and this was the halfway point for us. JP was our server and he was just the best!! Very friendly and funny! The food and drinks were amazing and we loved the separate rooms for dining. We're looking forward to making this our regular meetup spot!“

I had the scallops and risotto and the rest of my party was equally happy with everything they got. We will definitely be coming back.“

“I love Walt’s! Best roast beef sandwich around. Staff is friendly here. Interior is due for a renovation, but it adds to the classic feel of this location for those who have frequented for years and years like myself. They put that money into great food, which really matters. Only Walt’s with a drive thru, too!“
