“The Fireworks burger was fireworks! Loved it- well done was actually well done without being dry! The bacon was crispy and lovely as bacon should always be. The caramelized onions and red peppers - ooh la la- nothing but flavor! I’d definitely order this burger again if it not were for wanting to try them all. Going with the Luna Sea burger next time. We also ordered a chicken fajita burger- YEAH Baby- that was ridiculously good! The pickled jalapeños on that were Devine! We tried a side of Asian slaw- that need a bit of zing and many dashes of salt.
Looking forward to our next bite there! Crazy Burger was simply Crazy Good!“

“We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

Jasmine green tea was pretty good (7/10) We really liked the decaf coffee (9/10) what a treat. The regular coffee was not noteworthy, but fine. Nitro’s is much better. Great breakfast sandwich, grab and go ready!“

“Steph and the team at scratch were SUPERB! Our catering order was perfect (tho we were sad the croissant machine was down) every thing was piping hot (or nice an cool). Everything was SOOO good. Ordering was easy, Steph ensured we had a great variety and enough to feed the post-wedding crowd. We did have breakfast here and it was stellar! “There was a mess up on an order, I have spoken to the staff and manager 3 times. I've been waiting on an email to compensate me for the mistake. My understanding is that they use a 3rd party, well checking everyday for now over a week. As pleasant as Denise ,the manager, is follow through hasn't happened. No email, I give up, for people that know me....I never leave a bad review but try to deal with it directly.That usually fixes the problem. I won't go back and I'm not looking for the email anymore.“

“We were vacationing in Newport from Wisconsin and stopped in at Cappy’s. Sue the bartender was friendly and a wonderful bartender. The owner Joe, what can I say….what a guy! Joe saw us walking to our Airbnb and yelled at us on the street asking when we were headed back home. Joe is a gem of a bartender. He has a gift of gab and can hand out the bs too. Nice local establishment with friendly customers and bartenders. We had Dan as a bartender too and he was a friendly, great guy! “I live very close by, went in to inquire about a cake and the place was buzzing with customers RAVING about the lunch special ! 🫓 Arepas! The owner couldn’t make them fast enough for the people waiting to taste what smelled SO GOOD! Finally I had the very pleasant owner/baker to my self to find out that my SOY allergy was NOT a concern here ! No soy in the building! Whoo Hoo ! I now have a new bakery AND Lunch place in town ! I quickly placed my carrot 🥕 cake order, and then ordered 2 Arepa lunch specials to go ! While I waited for my food , I noticed clean freshly decorated surroundings, a little warm with no central air- but a breeze with the fan - most people are picking up and taking out . I returned 2 days later to pick up a simply beautiful cake that was nicely chilled and ready in a clear view box. It was THE. Most .DELICIOUS. CARROT 🥕 Cake I’ve had from a bakery !! EVER ! The cream cheese icing was PERFECT! Totally impressed with this bakery Cakelicious in Peace Dale circle / Town of Wakefield is AMAZING ! Oh and she makes her own bread too ! 😋“

It in addition to the sandwiches and salads for lunch can’t be beat by anyone down here. Excellent quality and taste every time and you get excellent value for your money. “I'm glad I finally stopped in to give it a try. It was an odd time, so it wasn't very busy. The person who took and made my order was very friendly. I was handed a falafel and hummus to try while I waited. It was crispy and delicious. I ordered a gyro salad. I wasn't expecting the meat to be in a sliced patty form, but it was tasty.
