“We went to The Spring House for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was the best vacation we have ever had. The hotel is amazing. We had a corner room facing the ocean and the view was perfect. We loved sitting on the lawn in the white Adirondack chairs. The view was spectacular, the live piano music was wonderful and it was great that you could order drinks and food from your chair. The food and staff was also great. We had the same waitress for two of our dinners and she was amazing her name is Kacey. She made our dining experience very enjoyable. We highly recommended The Spring House and we plan on going again.“

“This is the fun place, not the silent place, its activity, some alcohol use, you will hear music -from who knows where, and if that's for you, then this is the spot.
You can get to an ice cream shop right on the dock. Boats are rafted to each other in a know your neighbor way. The vibe and unstated contract between the clientele is to be not especially young but act a bit so, and hurt nobody doing it.
It's a nice vibe if you don't want to find your inner peace, but a real world interactions are more your cup of tea.“

“We tried the casual outdoor part of the restaurant. All outdoor seating no table service and a limited menu. But they do have lobster rolls. Quite casual. The food was ordinary but OK. Service was reasonably quick and friendly. The price was very high but that is common in the very touristy part of Block Island.“

“We had our wedding at the Atlantic Inn in October 2025. The Inn changed hands a couple years back and the renovations are stunning. Even though we had a nor'easter the day of our wedding the staff worked with us to help create our perfect day inside, we had a beautiful ceremony and reception. The staff worked extremely hard to make the space work even transforming the dining room into our dance floor after dinner. Shout out to Ashleigh, Dave, Emily, the chef Fran, and the rest of the Atlantic crew for making our day cozy and intimate! We had several guests tell us that the food was the best they've had at a wedding ever and they were right! The apps were delicious, steaks cooked perfectly, and the lobsters were hot and fresh for each guest! We were stuck on the island due to the weather and even though the inn was supposed to close the day after our wedding they stayed open for two extra nights to accommodate our guests until ferry service resumed. The Atlantic Inn truly provides excellent service and is a beautiful venue for your wedding no matter the weather! We cannot wait to visit every year!“
