“Wow, a top New York City type restaurant in Newport. Forget the losers comments from years ago. Dress like you’re going first class. Atmosphere here is awesome…2nd floor is special. Drinks are reasonable and delicious. Our server PATRICK WAS AMAZING. They explain specials and drinks. Most attentive and all foods were perfectly presented. Wanna another drink, ask and within 2 minutes it’s there. We had wild mushrooms and salmon that were incredible as appetizers. Caesar salad was fresh and lettuce crisp. Scallops special had my wife shaking her head. My seafood linguine was overflowing with fresh seafood. The dessert of “Snowball from Hell” can be shared. Our 54th anniversary was unreal. THANK YOU Park next door in Moorings lot.“

“We were in Newport 13 yrs ago and this is the restaurant that was the most memorable. Fast forward to this September of 2025 and Brick Alley Pub did not disappoint. It was everything my husband and I recalled fondly and even better! The cocktails (get the Filthy Dirty Martini if that's your thing. The best!!) food, service and overall vibe were just top notch. Highly recommend!!“

“A special touch without a doubt the best Breakfast ever, the food and service was of a wonderful standard, Kellie and Dave made you feel as if you were part of their family great people if you like a full English Breakfast this is the place for you they have it all the Bacon, Sausage not forgetting the baked beans and the fantastic PG Tip Tea thought I was in Heaven. “We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

“Just finished great meal. Huge lobster roll, high quality kids chicken and big beefy kids burger. I had the fish n chips which was amazing! Old Bay fries and what had to be a whole Cod! The best part was Peter N. He was very informative, quick in serving the kids which lets Mom and Dad relax. Such a great day and great meal.“

“My friend and I loved this place! We each got a delicious cocktail and, thanks to our wonderful server, were able to try both the carnitas and al pastor nachos! The meats were so flavorful, as was everything else loaded on! Definitely recommend!“
“7.26.25 The beer and the venue are a 5, but the burgers & wings were just not good at all. They serve more than just beer if beer isn't your thing. This place is just amazing. Huge outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoors also has lawn seating with Adirondack chairs besides the 2 level patio/decks. Everything is new and modern, and the landscaping is immaculate. Huge parking lot, too.“

“Our meal was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced for seafood. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of seafood in our pasta and quesadilla dishes. The service was outstanding, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the care and attention given by the General Manager, Rhonda. She went above and beyond to ensure our child—who has severe allergies, including shellfish—was safe and felt included in our dining experience. Rhonda took the time to mingle with guests and has a fantastic rapport with everyone. Her presence truly elevated our visit. We didn’t have a reservation, and the restaurant was quite full, but they still managed to accommodate our party of five within a few minutes. Overall, a wonderful experience we won’t forget!“

“It was delicious. The food was really good and the atmosphere was so comfortable. Our bartender Rowen was on top of it. The kitchen went out of their way to make our experience the best. Oooh and the tiramisu was so yummy. Thank you all for a wonderful meal.“
