“The food is always great! Very casual, busy restaurant and bar. The staff are always friendly. They have an amazing seafood chowder. Their fried seafood or prime rib are my favorites from them. They often have great specials including smelts! Highly recommend checking them out!“
“Fabulous dinner last night. Loved the Ceilo Rubi cocktail, the delicious oysters and the paella. My boyfriend also loved his lobster bisque and seafood casserole. Beautiful ambiance in the back corner of the restaurant overlooking the river. Danny definitely made our dinning experience even better. He was so personable and enthusiastic about all the offerings. “Valentine’s Day was my first time ever visiting the restaurant, it was very busy and me and my boyfriend were actually late for our reservation and the hostess took amazing care of us and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated even though we were late. When we sat down our waiter was Ken and let me just tell you Ken is amazing. He made my entire experience at the restaurant amazing, and he made sure our food was cooked to our liking. He was knowledgeable of the entire menu, and he recommended some really good things for us, and I am not only loved the food I loved the atmosphere, and the entire experience was amazing! Me and my boyfriend would definitely be coming back on our special occasions!“
“Nice music, nice vibes, & prices are fair. My bag was $47 & I got a pound of head off shrimp, a pound of mussels, & payed an extra $2 for their extra spicy hot sauce which was BOMB! I'm a really big guy & couldn't finish it all. Was a generous portion & good price especially for good sized pieces of shrimp & quality mussels. Had my mouth on fire but I couldn't stop eating because of how flavorful it was! Service was great as well. I drove from cape cod Massachusetts with family to eat here & it was well worth the drive & price!!“

Unfortunately, I had to send back the steam clams due to the fact they were cool/room temperature to the touch. Even when they were cold, they still were delicious. The atmosphere was a romantic one. The wait staff was great. My main wait staffer was Taylor. She wasc OUTSTANDING! She took care of all of our food service needs.“

“I am a little bit of a harsh critic when it comes to my meat. I ordered the tomahawk and I wouldn't say it was bad by any means, but it was just okay. It tasted like any other cut of meat. It was not as tender as I would have wanted it to be and there was more fat than usual. However, I ordered the banana bread dessert which was phenomenal and I would go back just for that and the drinks. The ambience was great and our waiter was extremely nice. He brought out samples of all the various sauces they had available with our steaks which I loved. It was my friend's birthday and the staff wrote her a birthday card. I thought was super thoughtful and went above and beyond what most restaurants would do. Overall I would recommend this place, I may have just caught them on an off night for steaks.“
“All of the food we chose was well prepared and delicious. We would definitely go again. We ordered the "all you can eat option" (90 min to finish) and were pretty full by the hour mark. “The seafood was cooked to perfection, not undercooked or overcooked however the fries, chips and rings were undercooked and greasy. The clams are not the traditional corn flour only coating so overly crunchy for my taste. Fish is wet battered. Scallops are sautéed without a coating and again not what I was expecting. Tarter sauce is homemade which is a nice surprise and maybe the coleslaw too but it was super heavy with mayonnaise.If I do go back, I will try both the red & white chowdah sand the clam cakes too.Excellent service, very accommodating and friendly.$10.00 for onion rings is a bit pricey in my opinion* Note * This place has been around for years but the original owner retired and was sold to the new owners 5 years ago“

We decided to stay and then get the Seafood Tower....also good! We didn't love the bread, although we wanted to! It's got a great vibe, easy location and everyone seems happy and friendly! I would highly recommend you if you can have some gluten-free or lactose intolerant items for those who need that like some kind of lactose, ice cream or sherbet and the ambience is always clean. We got a shrimp dish and wasn't to happy with it and immediately the mgr came over apologized and gave us a fish entree which was amazing! The staff is professional and food is delicious. “I have been going here since I was a little girl. After about a ten year gap due to moving we came back near home and George’s was one of my first stops last summer. My husband and I faithfully drive one hour weekly to get a lobster roll and some clam cakes and strips. This place does not disappoint and I am counting down the weeks until they reopen in March.“
“First time dining at this restaurant. We met another couple being a place that was half way between us. My wife and I had traditional Italian comfort food. The other couple had some fish dishes. Their dishes looked amazing and interesting presentations. My wife's very much enjoyed her eggplant rollatini and my Italian combo plate was very much as expected. Our friends had salmon primavera, and haddock & shrimp Francese. Although we enjoyed our meals, we envied our friends. All our meals included a salad and pasta. The service was very good. Plenty of easy parking. Right off the highway. Prices were attractive. I give this restaurant a solid four stars. In the lounge, there is a fireplace with evidence of a recent real wood fire. Overall, I enjoyed our night out at Gia Ristorante Italiano, and will be back soon.“

The salad is basic, the pasta is decent, but the chicken. That's where this place shines. It's not only delicious, but it will keep you coming back for more and more.The fish here too is also something to note. My wife is very picky with fish, and she loved it here! It also comes broasted which kept it light and fluffy.The bar here is also great. They make a great espresso martini.Overall, this place is priced extremely well for both food and alcohol, is kept clean, and the staff always treats you like family..I wish more places in the world took after this establishment.“
