I haven’t gotten a single item that I did not like they have everything you can think of from larger plates to smaller à la carte they even have desserts! I highly recommend the churros and Lola’s Turon (not pictured but did get on a previous visit) Also the Lola’s Lumpia is probably one of my favorites and literally the only place I know of where I can get lumpia!“

“We had a wonderful meal at the relatively new La Estrella Restaurant on W. Faris Rd. I'm writing this review to encourage people to try this traditional Mexican restaurant. I had the shrimp quesadilla which couldn't have been cheesier, and my husband had the very tasty shrimp diablo. The rice and beans that accompany most entrees were flavorful and nicely prepared. Our waitress, Sandra, was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely go there again. The location is right next to the Augusta Rd. neighborhood, and very convenient for people who live on this side of town.“

“Last night we went into Sabroso Mexican Grille at 845. We were greeted warmly by the owner even though it was 15 minutes prior to close. We asked for authentic Mexican tacos versus TexMex style. You can see the yumminess that we were given. Fresh and hot, the meal was on point! I didn't get a picture of the chips and salsa, but the "hot" salsa had some heat and was bursting with flavor. I'm sure I will be going back again!“

“So, I've been on a mission to find the best birria place in this area, and I've tried at least 6 birria taco places around town, and while there's at least one that's comparable, this is hands-down BY FAR the best birria place, not just in quality, but quality for the price. I've gone back so many times, and Taqueria Javier Solis has always nailed it every single time. While I still need to try more places especially along white horse road, as far as I'm concerned, this is the most underrated gem of Greenville that I know of currently. TRY THIS PLACE“

“Wow, this place is great! So, it’s true they are cash-only, and prices are no longer listed, as the numbers pictured in the original sign have slowly faded away. For reference, though, I ordered 6 tacos and a big ol horchata for $24. They served it with some pieces of grilled onion, 2 different homemade salsas and 3 complimentary chunks of lime. Yum!!
I tried the asada, carnitas, and pastor (pictured). And omggg these small street tacos are full! The meats are generously portioned and then topped with fresh chopped onion and cilantro. The asada and pastor each had some lovely bits of char, but the juicy carnitas really shined!
Also, I’m under the impression that the hours they have listed are up-to-date after calling to confirm. There’s a review saying something about not being able to be seated after 9 that must have been about the restaurant in the neighboring storefront- because there is no seating here.
So, overall, I’m thrilled with this experience. Easily the best taco truck I’ve been to so far, and I really look forward to coming back again! (Thank you to the chef for allowing me to take this photo)“

“Supreme Enchiladas were so good. House Margarita was wonderful and half off during happy hour last Thursday night. Guacamole and Chips were also great. Our waiter was wonderful. Would definitely recommend. It was my first time here. Our group loved everything that they ordered.“

Everything is AUTHENTIC, and the crew is sublime.

They stay open late, but I'm trying to land a job opening early, so we can catch the (proverbial) worm ~ of early bird fame.

If I was A millionaire I would sponsor this company for that quesadillas alone. Although there tortas are extremely good.

Furthermore I believe you can get mangonadas from the supermarket down the road but I'm going to do a review for them too because they have my purple flowers. That's actually collateral for the $10 I owe them because they spotted me on a mangonada and vanilla wafers.

Good luck getting such treatment from your own family but sometimes you will find family in strangers.

“Mr Salsa’s on Harrison Bridge Road is a great option for Mexican food in Simpsonville. The restaurant is very clean, the hostess was welcoming, and my server Carmen was friendly and super attentive.
