“Simply perfection! The oyster selection is otherworldly. The chargrilled oysters the best Ive had in my life. (Florida born an culinary chef.) The peel & eat shrimp so plump and served ice cold I have craved them since I had them. The service was above and beyond. The atmosphere encouraged private chatter but also conversation with next table easily. Friendly and cheerful and above all excellent food served with smiles, suggestions, and ease. I will never visit Charleston again without making sure to dine here. (Do not eat the soup. I actually sent it back to the kitchen. Never have I had to do that. ) Highly recommend again and again for everything else.“

“My wife and I had our micro wedding gathering at Grace and Grit in June 2024. There isn't enough we can say to express how much we love the people, food, and place at Grace and Grit. If you're planning an event, this is no doubt the place you want to be. Eli, Paul, and the rest of the team are nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I brought our closest friends and family down to Charleston/Mt. Pleasant, from Pennsylvania. The one worry we had was "what are we going to serve these PA Dutch area folks?" The answer we came up with was Grace and Grit, as we've had wonderful experiences there in past trips we've taken. The resounding review from our guests, were noting short of heartwarming and gratifying. To finish out, this is just what one guest said in regards to our wedding celebration. Wonderful service from our server which included a birthday card from the restaurant waiting on me at the table and a birthday drink from the server. 82 Queen will always be a favorite of mine! It is a Charleston classic that has stood the test of time.“

“My husband got the mint chocolate chip frappe and LOVED it! And he’s picky! I got the iced dirty chai tea latte with cold foam and I’ve had many before, and it was not great. Tasted like cinnamon watered down milk and didn’t get cold foam at all so wasn’t too thrilled given the price I paid for it.“

“If you want the best southern cooking anywhere, the warmest welcome, best staff ever and large portions for a reasonable price come to Page’s Okra Grill! It is one of the best Charleston SC restaurants located I. Mt. Pleasant- the best of both worlds! Their seafood and everything else is fabulous! You will want to come back again and again- it is well worth any wait as they don’t take reservations… their southern charm is marvelous! …and plan to sit in their giant Adirondack chair outside! 5+++ stars“

If looking to go for their ribs, definitely suggest calling ahead as this was a huge disappointment. The wings however were amazing! The white hot and their hot honey and blue sauces were fantastic! The pork rinds with Tabasco honey and blue cheese were so fun and tasty! They arrived at the table popping with deliciousness!“

The atmosphere is fresh, yet cozy. It's a tiny place, so everyone is right there, attentive to our needs. The music is relaxing yet upbeat, transporting you out to the world and yet not too loud for conversation! The menu looks simple but when you eat from it, you realize how thoughtfully put together each dish is! Pistachio-Parmesan Salad, Shrimp Toast were our picks and were both outstanding.“

“We met Adam the owner who came to hurricane hit Little Switzerland NC right after the storm subsided. He and his team brought massive amounts of supplies from BBQ grills and charcoal to baby needs, water, generators and even went so far on a return trip to bring a portable smoker and cooked an entire meal for our village. We decided after a month of volunteering to celebrate my wifes birthday here in lovely Charleston and of course a meal at the Codfathers restaraunt. The atmosphere is very English Pub style with a great selection of beers/ wine, friendly staff and large tasty portions at a great price. If you love fish and chips this is a must go !!

“The Pour House is the best! Locally owned and operated. Gets great acts from all over the country, and supports the local musicians as well. It is a staple of James Island and the Charleston music scene. Bartenders are awesome, murals give the deck a cool vibe. It’s just the best. Highly recommend!!“
