“From start to finish, this meal was incredible. We kicked things off with the bread service—absolutely amazing and the perfect start. I had the chicken with succotash, and my husband ordered the steak—both were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. We couldn’t resist dessert and are so glad we didn’t. The peach cobbler and banana pudding cheesecake were ridiculously tasty—seriously, save room! Even our server - Celia was top notch. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Simply perfection! The oyster selection is otherworldly. The chargrilled oysters the best Ive had in my life. (Florida born an culinary chef.) The peel & eat shrimp so plump and served ice cold I have craved them since I had them. The service was above and beyond. The atmosphere encouraged private chatter but also conversation with next table easily. Friendly and cheerful and above all excellent food served with smiles, suggestions, and ease. I will never visit Charleston again without making sure to dine here. (Do not eat the soup. I actually sent it back to the kitchen. “Only tried the coffee and pastries for our first visit, coffee was 10/10 as was the cream puff, hands down the best I’ve ever had (it was overflowing with delicious filling)! With having a small child I really appreciated that they find & bring your order to you! Can’t wait to go back to try the other menu items!

“My husband and I sat at the bar and were pleasantly surprised by the cocktail engineers helping us navigate our lunch. We started with drinks and an order of calamari; prices seemed high, but we are always willing to pay for superb experiences, after all, this is our first time in Charleston, thus our first time at Bar167. The place was packed; everyone was chatting with one another, along with the friendly staff. Between my husband and I, and the new friends we made, I think every cocktail on the specialty menu was made and sampled. The cocktail engineers were knowledgeable, attentive, and welcomed all the questions (no matter how dumb they were). We had the crab roll and the fish sandwich – did not disappoint! CAN I JUST TELL YOU, the damn Tzatziki Drink was unexpectedly amazballs.
This was a great place, if we are ever in the area again, we will be there“

Tasted like cinnamon watered down milk and didn’t get cold foam at all so wasn’t too thrilled given the price I paid for it.“

“We stopped by for brunch as walk-ins and were told there’d be a 30-minute wait. True to their word, our table was ready right on time. We ordered a Bloody Mary with pepper vodka (cucumber vodka was also an option), the crab soup, and the brunch burger. The flavors were outstanding, and the portions were generous—so much so that we didn’t have room for dessert. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the turnover of tables kept the energy fresh. No complaints—just a fantastic brunch experience!“

“I have mixed feelings. Our first visit was over a decade ago and it was wonderful. Our anniversary was yesterday and it was an ok experience. We sat in the courtyard AB’s was placed under the above heater. We started smelling gas and the heat never reached the table area. So we were freezing. The appetizers were wonderful. The couple got seated next to us ten minutes after us and received their food first. Was told about different and best food options and a dessert menu. We were not given either. Bbq in the shrimp and grits was over powering any other flavor. Husband got fish and grits and it was excellent. Not a 0 but I’m in no hurry to go back or recommend to anyone else. Ruined my anniversary to be honest….“

“Coming from a New Yorker, these Italian cutlet sandwiches are out of this world! The bread is perfectly toasted, the chicken is a Milanese thin breaded style which is PERFECT and the flavors are all well blended. Kurtis was incredibly kind and hospitable and everyone there were just great people.

But the food is truly amazing. We will absolutely be back to try other foods as well :)“

“Bottom line: very hip spot and yummy food, but expensive for what it is.

Went here after the aquarium with my wife and kids. We had a short wait for our table and the hostess and wait staff were incredibly kind and attentive.

I ordered the “Naughty Burger” my wife got the Basic Bowl with chicken and we got 2 kids PB&Js. The food was all very tasty. One of my kids PB&Js came out burnt/over toasted but they remade it quickly and without fuss.

My youngest was overtired and not on very good behavior unfortunately so we had to take her out for some fresh air to calm down twice but the staff was very understanding and kind.

If I had to say something negative I’d say it’s a little expensive for what it is. Each adult entree was a decent portion size and about $20 which feels a little steep but still reasonable. The PB&J with some apple slices was $8 a piece which is nuts, but I understand they have a business to run and have to cover wages and overhead—and the food was good.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re not going with kids or if your kids are old enough to order adult entrees. Solid spot for a light lunch.“

They knew it was our anniversary and i am surprised that not even a complimentary dinner or even a bottle of wine was given. “Best ice cream shop on Sullivan’s island, right under the Obstinate Daughter restaurant. My oldest has a peanut and tree nut allergy making it difficult to have ice cream in most places due to cross-contamination from shared scoops. The Beardcat has great flavors and individual scoops per flavor. Definitely a win!“
