Unless I'm sitting at the bar, a free fire zone and good beer prices. The locals have lived all around America and as in all bars are represented by to many 'guys' from Pittsburg. The good booze prices mellow them out however and I actually like some of em'. The food is solid and real all the way to the mashed potatoes but the fries are even better. You won't see any baskets hanging on the wall or things hanging from the ceiling. Go to MB for that. If you want good food, service and locals with 50 different accents and friendly, stop and see us. The station has a 1/2 wall to separate the bar from the dining room both sides are good. My VA and PA family like both rooms. * there is bad, ok and good rating I give. Bad is bad, ok is ok and good is great. I just love good food..... it don't get better.“

“Overall, we enjoyed our experience at California Dreaming. The restaurant has a nice design, and the lit tree is a beautiful touch that creates a warm atmosphere. The restaurant wasn't busy, our food came out quickly, and our server was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the dining room left a lot to be desired. There was trash on the floor throughout the restaurant, including under several tables, and some of the seats hadn't been wiped down. When I politely pointed out the trash, I was surprised that the host responded defensively instead of simply acknowledging the concern. To end the evening, one of the guests in our party accidentally choked on a fish bone. Thankfully, the manager, our server, and other staff responded immediately and were incredibly attentive, compassionate, and accommodating during a stressful situation. Their professionalism in that moment was greatly appreciated. There are definitely some areas that need improvement, particularly with cleanliness and customer service at the front, but the attentiveness of our server and management did leave a positive impression. We will plan to visit in the future, for a second take.“

I had the grilled oysters with Parmesan cheese and garlic, and the shrimp tacos ANDDD, the hibiscus margarita that was so good I had another! “We had dinner at Perrone's Restaurant last night and every aspect of our meal was great. From friendly bartenders to attentive servers, we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. We tried an octopus and a mussel appetizer, and both were flavorful and delicious. The mussel sauce in particular was so good, I could have sopped it up with an entire loaf of bread. Entrees were generous portions, and the chocolate cake for dessert was really good. If you are within an hour of this restaurant and have not tried it, you're missing one of the two or three best on the entire Grand Strand.“

“The Socastee River City Cafe is consistently the best hamburger in Horry County. All the River City Cafe's are great (except downtown Conway, too small and service is horrible) but the Socastee location has never disappointed in any way.“

“We had reservation. We got right in a seated. Appetizer ordered drinks ordered. Ten or so minutes. Appetizer came out! Then our meal was around 30 minutes. The place was packed. But the food was served hot! The waitress kept drinks on the table. Are only complaint was it was a little loud in there. Other then that it was perfect“

“I visited Kimbels for a wedding. The weather was fantastic and glad it was because the wedding was held on the bluffs. Such a beautiful setting. Appetizers were served to us by wandering waiters in an outside tent along with a bar and band. After the ceremony and wedding pix ... the people went inside where there were 4 food stations. So good. After we got our fill ... we went back outside under the tent to dance. It couldn't have been better!“

We got there And it was beginning to rain and this wonderful gentleman in his golf cart with his dog. Rusty gave us a ride from where we parked to the front door. Once we entered we were greeted by an adorable young lady who was a hostess. Christina was our server. This young lady is incredible, beautiful, friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. The food was exceptional from the oysters to the appetizers to the meal. We couldn't have been happier. The view was beautiful. This will be our new go-to especially to bring guests for dinners. And lunch. We had the honor of meeting Shannon and Eric, the owners and seriously when I tell you we were there more than 3 hours eating and drinking. It was an incredible, memorable time. “Thought we would try for dinner Walked in front door Hostess was acting overwhelmed she was talking to waitress worried she just sat 2 people We stood there waiting to be greeted Never was acknowledged by any of staff that came to hostess station I finally said hello the hostess looked up up at us and said 2 we said yes never welcomed us to restaurant she said well you will have to wait I just got request for an 8 and went back to looking at paper at hostess podium We were the only 2 standing there We left. “My husband and I decided to stop here yesterday for a quick game of bowling! It’s been chilly in Myrtle and we wanted to do something different and get out of the house. Spent about 2 hrs here and had a great time! Super friendly staff!! We bowled for an hour and then just walked around and checked out the place. Plenty of bowling lanes; 2 nice bar areas; several pool tables; nice dining area; a really cool 3D Zombie 18 hole putt-putt (indoor); and a game room with tons of games including skeeball (which we had to partake in). We had already eaten when we got there but the menu and the food being served looked amazing! Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Myrtle or even live here!! And it’s located right in Market Common so plenty of shopping to walk to! Can’t wait to take the grandkids this summer!“
