“This place is near perfect. They had nearly everything you could want seafood-wise. The price is fair considering the quality of the food. Not just the selection, but the quality was great.Natalya was a great server. Made sure our drinks never hit bottom.“

“The food was the same you would find at any Calabash at the beach. Crab Bites were my favorite! Marcy was a great server never too intrusive and cleared our plates when needed. She kept the water coming as well which was great for us. I liked that it wasn't too crowded or loud like some places can get, but that may have just been based on time and time of year we came.“

“The food was okay. What really made the experience was the staff's interaction with the customers. We were wildly entertained the whole time we were there, Makenzie was a GREAT server, and, oh yeah, the rubber duck wall among other sites kept us smiling and giggling. We came for the foam, but stayed for the party.“

“Me and wife greatly enjoyed this place. I got the surf n turf with the steak and lobster tail. Steak came out juicy and perfectly done. Lobster was seasoned well! Our server Kaycee did a fine job accommodating us and was very friendly. Definitely recommend this place as we are very picky with how our food is prepared!“

“My daughter-in-law and I celebrated our birthdays yesterday with our family. It was the first time eating at Pirate's Table, and it won't be the last. For 50 years, our family have met in Myrtle Beach for celebrations several times each year, and we have tried every large seafood buffet there. Pirate's Table is, by far, the best. We were welcomed, entertained, and fed like we were kings. We have a large group, so we spent A LOT of money, and it was worth every cent.“

“Well where to start. Erica our server was very friendly and helpful in explaining our drink and dinner options. She even gave us her phone to review the drink menu. When the drinks arrived they were enormous! Erica then took our order and the cheddar biscuits appeared almost instantly. Our surf and turf dinners came in no time and were perfectly prepared. I must say, the broccoli had wonderful flavoring, and is something I might try at home. We capped dinner off with a single order of chocolate cake to split, and I'm glad we did, as again the portion size was more than adequate. All in all we had an wonderful dinner and wonderful experience and can't wait until we return again.“

“Good food just not a lot of variety but that didn't bother me because I was there for the crab legs. Also the Oyster Rockefeller was really good just add a little salt.although the salad bar and desserts weren't impressive. Just try not to fill up on the hush puppies.“

“Service is impeccable, especially with Brionna - she's the best. When in town, this place is a must at least twice during my visit. Food is top-notch. The pan-seared grouper is one of my seafood favorites. I love sitting in the deck area, though it can be loud at times.“

“Food was exceptional , we loved the Calm Appitzer so good we ordered a second one ? We spilt a dinner plate for 5.00 witch gave us each choice of Salad or soup and was plated on two plates beautifully. My pictures did not come out because of the blue lighting , but we will def be back . Prices are on par even slightly less then a same caliber restaurant Service was also good and had a very polite young man ! 5 stars all the way“

“We came in on St. Patrick’s day night before closing. Unfortunately, there was a large group of routy college students spilling drinks and crowding tables. Our server Emma handled it amazingly! Despite the chaos she was still so kind. She moved the people in her section to other tables and asked management to help control/kick out and they did! On top of their wonderful customer service the food is absolutely amazing. I’m confident in saying they have the best food on the MarshWalk. It was so good we came back the next day and the customer service was just as great as the night before (without all the chaos of course). After trying 8 other places in the area, it was so good we decided to have them cater our wedding! 10/10 recommend! Our personal favorites:Boo Boo’s Tender BitesBlue Crab NachosInlet TrioCrab CakesAnything with porkBrisketRibsFriesMurrells ColadaGoat Island Sunrise“

“A cute" hole in the wall" local place. Friendly service goes a long way these days, and this place was excellent. For was great and prices were reasonable in this economy. Small and dark atmosphere, but it was clean.Parking: It is in a strip mall so parking is limited. I didn't notice if there was parking behind building.“

“Fantastic dining experience! They were very accommodating to our group, even on a busy Saturday night. In particular we were impressed with their attention to our young son! They gave him a little hot wheels car and immediately had food available. The wine and food were amazing and of good value. Can’t wait to visit again when we’re in the area!“

“Cannot say enough good things about the pace. They accommodated our party of 11 at lunch time, our waitress (Lora) was on top of things - brought drinks out, got all of the orders correct and split the bill up by family - all without missing a beat. The place is quirky in its' looks, but the food and service was excellent. The crab-stuffed jalapenos were excellent, and the amount of shrimp on my shrimp quesadilla was significant. I could hardly finish everything. The clam chowder was very good and the cod basket that my wife ordered came with large pieces of cod and delicious french fries. On a last note - there is a discount for cash payment. Small signs in the restaurant explaining it.“

“Casual atmosphere and great service! The restaurant is small so it's easy for it to "busy". We enjoyed the coconut shrimp for apps and had perfect grilled grouper and shrimp and my husband loved his tuna! Cooked perfect! Great food for a great price!“

“If you want quality food that is finely prepared, this is your place. The grouper is best around. We love their platter combo because you get both grouper and crab cake. The crab cake is chock full of real crab meat, not that "deviled crab" stuff. All the desserts are home made. Their carrot cake is award winning. Southside has a clean, new feel, not a worn out tourist joint. Lizzie, our waitress, was related to everyone working there. They ask if you're satisfied and genuinely care. Should I say more? Glad I listened to where locals go. Bad news is they are only open Wed. to Sat 4.30 to 8:00. So we go early.“

“Seems like I always forget about how dang good the burgers are from The Porch in Socastee ! Met a friend there the other day and had a late lunch while catching up on a few things.I got the cheeseburger ? and added chili, as you can see on the picture. What did I like about the burger? The fact that it wasn't a frozen, pre pattied run of the mill, massed produced burger.. INSTEAD, it was an in house, hand pattied burger! And if you are ANY type of foodie, you know the obvious difference. If you're not a foodie, and don't know the difference, I ask that you just try a burger from here... and taste the difference for yourself!I wish I was able to tell Ralph this personally, and I feel bad that I'd forgotten how REALLY GOOD they are, so I'm here to tell all of you who may actually READ my words... swing by and try it of you have the chance!“

“So good! The server Malachi, was personable and we were pleased with the service. My friend said both the oysters Rockefeller and the raw oysters were both delicious! Her one criticism was that they should've loosened the oyster from the shell more (we are from Maryland). The hush puppies were delicious with the addition of green onion and the honey butter set them over the top! The lobster deviled eggs with bacon were perfection (this from a person who doesn't like the white part of deviled eggs). The mozzarella spinach spring rolls were hot and crispy and came with a delicious sundried tomato dipping sauce. The frozen mules were a nice treat-I wish the blackberry was a bit stronger but the ginger beer took over. Still refreshing and delicious! We will be back!“

“Visited Captain George in Myrtle Beach on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of wait despite the restaurant being busy. The waitstaff were attentive, always on hand to refill beverages. The buffet offered a wide selection, though I found the food to be good but not exceptional. This spot is perfect if you're in the mood to sample various dishes. The standout for me was the unlimited crab legs, and I also savored the delicious bread pudding.Parking: No issue finding parking on a Friday night in non peak season.“

“We had a fantastic meal sitting at the bar with Matt, Kevin, and Jack the barback. Great view, and really cool vibe. The guys were super friendly, and well versed on menu. We had Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer, and it was excellent. It was prepared in a different way with a wonderful sauce. We split the beet and arugula salad that was also very good. We had the catch of the day which had just come of their boat that morning. Tremendous. All big portions which were enough for two. This was the best meal we have had in Myrtle Beach. Excellent restaurant, great bartenders, and great food. We are already planning to return again.“

“This is a food truck, so atmosphere isn't a consideration. The menu is limited, mostly fried, but quite tasty. This will be a weekly indulgence during Lent. The proprietress is warm, funny, and fast. She's the kind of lady whose business you want to support.Fried shrimp are great. They are big boys, not little popcorn shrimp. The flounder is delicious. The grouper fingers could be made better with a spicier batter, but everything is fried in clean oil.A variety of sauces/dips are available. The roumelade is quite good.“

“We entered and the noise level was loud. So we asked if we could sit outside and happy we did. Others came out and told us they wished they’d been outside where the noise level was lower. The seafood platter was OK but not the best I have had. The salad was good for $3 more and the potato salad was good. This is our first time here and we came because of the reviews. So maybe my expectations were too high from reading them.My wife got the Cajun shrimp and scallops which she liked and said was good not too spicy but flavorful.Liz did a good job serving us“

“Great restaurant! Our waiter Kyle was right on point. The food was hot when served and portions are good. I had the Jumbo Shrimp and pasta (alfredo). Cooked to perfection! My husband had the rib eye which he said was cooked to his likely however it does not have any seasoning. Already recommended to friends. We will be back. The only downside was the seating by the windows have an a/c vent above which should have directional diffusers. Was a little chilly.“

“We had a reservation for 9. On entering the restaurant, we were not greeted by either of the two hostesses, who sort of ignored us. We approached the desk, and after giving the name on our reservation, we were led to our table. Not one word was uttered by the hostess. At this point, I was thinking the service was going to be bad. Within a minute of being seated, a bright and breezy waitress came to take our drink orders and go over the fresh catch of the day. She was upbeat, friendly and was able to quickly answer a couple of questions about menu items. Drinks ordered as were the various appetizers. They both arrived quickly, accompanied by a delightful basket of assorted bread rolls. I ordered the fried green tomatoes that came with 3 large blackened shrimp. While they were in no way greasy, the tomatoes were under seasoned and the shrimp a tad overcooked. Two in our party had sushi and said it was very good. Another had the she crab soup which was thick and creamy with a good amount of crab. The oysters were large and very fresh. The shrimp and grits came as a massive bowl, loaded down with shrimp, and I was told it was excellent. Other entrées ordered by our group included steaks, scallops over cheese grits, lobster tails and a house salad with grilled shrimp. Judging by the clean plates all enjoyed their choices. A couple of minor negatives, were were not offered refills of our cocktails or iced water, although those having soft drinks were replenished often. The Wahoo Fish house sits over, looking the marsh and the tables at the windows are best, so if this is your preference, I recommend making a reservation and requesting a table there. We arrived at 4.30, and it was not that busy, but the parking area was full already. The vacant lot next door was offering parking for $5.00, which the restaurant will refund after dining. Make sure to keep the parking ticket. Two other points worth mentioning, by 6.00pm the restaurant is hopping, with guests lining up to dine. Secondly, like most places in a tourist area, the prices are not cheap. So if you're not prepared to pay $60 plus per person, you best look elsewhere. Would I eat here again, I certainly would.“

“Excellent Authentic Mexican food!! The Burrito was amazing, as was the taco' and fajitas!! The shrimp cocktail (Mexican) was at least 30 medium size shrimp! Highly recommend this restaurant. “We live in the inlet and wish I cooked more Seafood at home as if I did I would have the pleasure of shopping Murrells Inlet Seafood more often than I do. However, when I am looking for seafood, I know I can always count on Rick and Murrells Inlet Seafood.Recently, my 91 year old mom was on Hospice and loosing her appetite so I thought some of Rick's soup would please her and boy did I hit a home run... “STOP! Read Before Visiting! This is no longer a separate restaurant -- its the red-headed step-child of JPeters (next door). We chose this place thinking it was a less pricey option for our family of 6. We were sitting at a nicely painted picnic table ( suitable for the type of dinner we expected) and given a menu for the Steak House next door (J Peters).I asked the waitress and she said the Love Shack was owned by J Peters. SO, we decided if we were paying Highly-rated-steakhouse Prices, we might as well sit inside the nice steakhouse! We were pleasantly surprised to find it was "early bird" hours (see photo of menu!).My Advice: if you're here for dinner, arrive early and Go next door to J Peters for the early bird menu!“

“Best mozzarella sticks ever. The Buffalo shrimp was delicious and the shrimp po boy is not a po boy. It's a sandwich. It is a yummy sandwich. But it is not a po boy.Edit: We've been coming here every year for six years. We always get the Buffalo Shrimp, Mozzarella Sticks, and Grouper Fingers. They've been amazing Every time. The service has always been stellar or very understandable when not. I've seen other people order the po boy and it looks to have changed from my earlier review. But always, and I mean always, it's our place to go when we are in town and we tell anyone in the area to visit. Though it's really their loss if they don't.Wheelchair accessibility: It is a long, tight ramp, but the bottom ends at the handicapped parking which is convenient.“
