“My son came home from deployment and I just wanted to take him out to have a nice dinner before he left which was the following day. So I took him to this restaurant and everyone treated us so very very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant the ambience is also very nice, however the waiter the maître d’ the manager waitresses, they all made the experience for me and my son amazing. I cannot wait to come back and just relax and enjoy the jazz music that was playing.“

“We met Adam the owner who came to hurricane hit Little Switzerland NC right after the storm subsided. He and his team brought massive amounts of supplies from BBQ grills and charcoal to baby needs, water, generators and even went so far on a return trip to bring a portable smoker and cooked an entire meal for our village. We decided after a month of volunteering to celebrate my wifes birthday here in lovely Charleston and of course a meal at the Codfathers restaraunt. The atmosphere is very English Pub style with a great selection of beers/ wine, friendly staff and large tasty portions at a great price. If you love fish and chips this is a must go !!

The owner was so responsive on the phone and had the crabs ready and waiting at the designated time. I love that you pick these crabs up hot as opposed to some garlic crabs which are cooked earlier and eaten cold. The garlic butter soaked in everywhere and also had a nice kick to it. I’m telling all my friends and we will be ordering again soon!“

“The service and food were excellent today. Oscars rarely disappoints. My only issue is the surcharge for using a credit card. Now the menu prices were all high as most so I have to ask how cheesy for Oscars to embarrass this establishment by noting this increase on my receipt. Guys this is a premium dining establishment. Pinching more $ I think should we embarrassing to proprietor. Stop this! If you don't have your menu costed correctly that's your problem to figure out.“

Being from BR, we are excited to have this place. We already love both Nigel's locations. This was what I've been waiting for. He put his spin on NO favorites. The Signature Oysters were amazing! Boudin balls and crab dip were full of flavor. My husband loved the fried pork chops. Offer rice and gravy or mashed potatoes and gravy, please. The gumbo was flavorful and packed with chicken, shrimp, sausage, and crawfish- needed a little more liquid. Fried okra was fresh!
Get the Banana Bread Pudding! I don't even like bread pudding but this was out of this world! That caramel sauce was bomb! The beignets were delicious. Not authentic per se but fabulous all the same.
Nigel is a genius. I want that blackened catfish or shrimp ravioli next time.
Please add Crystal's or Louisiana hot sauce and some Tony's on the table. Even some sport peppers, if you want the trifecta of tabletop seasonings.“

“I ended up at this lil quiet place by chance. After receiving poor service at Marvin's my family and I drove 8 miles down the road (on top of driving to Charleston) just for some FRESH seafood??. These wonderful ppl were LITERALLY CLOSING BC THEY RAN OUT OF SEAFOOD, but managed to MAKE OUR DAY!!! We just wanted to have a Seafood Mother's Day and these ppl did just that for us (UNLIKE THE NASTY ATTITUDE WE GOT FROM THE SHORT OLE HEAD WITH THE 1 GOLD OUT NO NOT IN I SAID OUT FOR A REASON THE FRONT)!!! “Marilyn's Kitchen was phenomenal. Our entire family was thrilled with every bite we took. it's really hard to make a family of 6 equally as satisfied and tonight it happened. The Fried chicken fish and shrimp were so good. but, let me tell.you about the collard greens and honey corn bread, OMG, TO DIE FOR.. “The children's meals were both devoured and the adults enjoyed a pasta dish, salmon, and pork chops. All of the meals were good portions and very satisfying. The desserts (chocolate layer cake, chocolate lava cake) were a must if you like chocolate. Been here many times. It's our favorite spot in Guelph. We go out of our way to come here. The food, the ambiance, the service is excellent.“

Food was ready upon arrival, and though NOT on their menu, this restaurant was the FIRST to accept the challenge to make Rosa Parks pancakes in honor of her birthday February 4th. Best Friends of Lowcountry Transit appreciate the support for Transit Equity Day, we have signed 47 people up on our Facebook page for the event, a nail salon has agreed to display your posters, and the food was delicious!! Folks at the Superstop say you have a good sandwich I should try, so I will have to check that out!!“

“They have pretty good margaritas. It's hard to mess them up, and fortunately its never happened here. Most of the food is pretty decent, but I'm not a fan of their taco salad. It is very very basic and very little seasoning. Customer service is amazing. I don't think any of my times there I have had a bad experience. They have a cute little outside patio area you can eat at, and in the evening its quite pretty. This is Good place for families, a friends get together point, and even your first date.

Dietary restrictions: I have a very bad tomato allergy, and as long as they know, they will guide you to the right food choices. If you put in an order with your allergy in it, they do come back and let you know you can't have that, and here are other options. I have never had to use my epipen after eating here and I'm highly allergic to tomatoes.“

“Great food. Had the fried chicken lunch special with collards and yams, collards were as good as homemade and the yams were extra good plus the fried chicken was very good though a very small quantity.
