So I took him to this restaurant and everyone treated us so very very nice. I highly recommend this restaurant the ambience is also very nice, however the waiter the maître d’ the manager waitresses, they all made the experience for me and my son amazing. I cannot wait to come back and just relax and enjoy the jazz music that was playing.“

“We were in Charleston for work at the Clemson Research Center. This place was recommended by a coworker that visited often. It was promoted as real British fish and chips food. They only serve meat pies and fish and chips. That's it. GO. It's the best fish and chips I've had since visiting London. The World Famous is a full pound of fried COD. SSOOOO GOOOD!!!“

I started with the Tlayudas, which were incredibly delicious and a delightful departure from the ordinary; they are quite large, reminiscent of a pizza. Additionally, I ordered the charola de marisco, which was nothing short of amazing, featuring a variety of seafood that was 100% delicious. The service was exceptional as well; the waitress was not only attentive but also very friendly. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for genuine Mexican food in Charleston.“

“I ate an early dinner 10/3rd at 5:00pm. My server, Wendy, was excellent! She was attentive without hovering. I was torn between three choices and she helped me decide which of the three I should eat. The dish was excellent and just the right choice for me. I thought the caesar salad was fresh and delicious but had too much dressing for me. I would order it on the side next time. If you visit this restaurant, ask to be seated in Wendy's section!“

“The service and food were excellent today. Oscars rarely disappoints. My only issue is the surcharge for using a credit card. Now the menu prices were all high as most so I have to ask how cheesy for Oscars to embarrass this establishment by noting this increase on my receipt. Guys this is a premium dining establishment. Pinching more $ I think should we embarrassing to proprietor. Stop this! If you don't have your menu costed correctly that's your problem to figure out.“

“I was very excited to go there with a couple of my friends because I heard it was great. Our Margaritas had so much sour mix in them. The manager did try to correct it by making new ones, but they still were not good. The service was not good. I even asked the manager if our server was new. We had to ask for water, napkins and a plate so my friend could put together the fajitas that she ordered. There were so many refried beans on my salad that it was soupy. The refried beans were very watery. I was definitely disappointed and I won't be going back.“

The food is out of this world, and I tend to think about the jambalaya and the grits at least once a week. I cannot rate Nola's as high as it deserves.“

Food was ready upon arrival, and though NOT on their menu, this restaurant was the FIRST to accept the challenge to make Rosa Parks pancakes in honor of her birthday February 4th. “Placed an order and in it I asked for general chicken. I also emphasized severe fish and shellfish allergies. Not only did they check on this, they called me and told me general chicken has ingredients I am allergic to, but the chef for on the phone with me and said he had a different way he could make it. That it will taste just a bit different but would be safer for me. I agreed to try it. Chef!! I barely could taste the difference and I want to thank you so much for giving me the taste I was looking for and keeping me safe!!! Evening else from sweet and sour , to chicken chow mein to even sticky rice was absolutely perfect..You all are the best!!!“
