“Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. Our meal was fantastic!

For appetizers, we had the ricotta and crab—something my wife wanted more than I did, so I wasn’t expecting much, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was incredible. The fried oyster sliders, delicious.

For entrées, we ordered the short ribs and the burger. The short ribs were good, but the biggest surprise was the burger. That cheese sauce and “fancy” sauce—whatever it is—was insanely good.

On top of that, the $10 happy hour cocktails (the daiquiri was great, especially for the price) and free parking in the building made the experience even better.

We had the pimento chitin start followed by the fried chicken with cheese Mac and collard greens and finished it off with banana pudding. “Ms. Rose’s Fine Food is a treat in Charleston! The food was absolutely delicious—highly recommend the avocado burger with the gluten-free bun, which was sturdy, flavorful, and a perfect match. The meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans was another standout. Don’t leave without trying the brisket fries—mouthwatering! The restaurant is spacious, the staff is warm and welcoming, and our waitress Raven gave top-notch service with great recommendations for us first-timers. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Middleton Place restaurant is lovely. Experience the historical restaurant in the daytime as night time it is pretty darn dark. Long driveway, go in the direction of the small sign that says restaurant and it is the building that is not clearly marked restaurant except for on the front of the building. The atmosphere is beautiful inside. We felt like we walked right into 1717. Food was delicious, service was top notch, and the restaurant was clean.“

“I was craving turkey wings but didn’t feel like cooking, quick Google search led me here and I beyond happy I found them.

I’ve been here twice and both times the food has been delicious!!! The turkey wings were fall off the bone tender, the lima beans were good and the mac and cheese reminded me of my grandmas.

To get 3 sides and meat for $10.90 is unheard of these days but that is exactly what I paid.

“I have been a member of the Harbour Club for almost 15 years, at the old location and at the new location. It is a private club, but it has always been a great club and a great place for networking and having meetings and dinners with business associates, but the current location, staff, chef, and atmosphere is by far the best it has ever been. There is always a smile and a friendly greeting from the whole staff and the servers are great! The new chef has done a great job and recently upgraded the menus. Views from the club are outstanding, especially the sunset over the Ashley River. My wife and I have recently joined the wine club and really enjoy the wine tastings. They have live music on Fridays, special events throughout the year, kids activities and they support the community with their "Cocktails For a Cause" events. Whether you are looking for a place to do some work in quiet workspaces, attend a great happy hour, or want to network and have a place to take business associates, you should consider the Harbour Club. “I found out about Southbound, through my job. I had to go do some work there, and found the owner and everyone there, super friendly. Most people at restaurants ignore working people while they are there. As my 42nd anniversary was quickly approaching, I decided to give this place a try. Some of my past picks, have not been the best. Southbound cleared EVERY hurdle I have about restaurants. From the moment we approached the restaurant, great service began! While coming thru the gate, the hostess yelled out, "HEY LARRY" and then said, "This must be your beautiful wife"! Like CHEERS, it felt great to go somewhere, "Where everybody knows your name" We were seated and got to view the open fire oven. I had dropped off 42 roses the week before for them to put on our table, for my wife. Tropical storm Debbie, and downtown flooding prevented us from going exactly on our anniversary. I was worried that store bought roses, would not last thru the weeklong delay, Joel assured me everything would be taken care of, and not to worry. As we were seated, there on the table, sat 42 roses. Fresh, and arranged with baby breath flowers included. I was told the young lady with the hostess had arranged them. They were gorgeous! They also had an anniversary card on the table from them, not something I had dropped off. The service was tremendous, the food indescribably outstanding! I have only had steak Tar Tar once before in my life, and was greatly afraid to try it again, as the first time was awful. It was superb! They take great pride in the presentation of their food products. I felt like I was in an episode of Master Chef. We had the steak, as well as the Sea bass, okra, corn, sweet potatoes, and the Caramel cake. Everything absolutely wonderful! This was a truly wonderful and memorable dining experience!! I would give 100 stars, and a Siskel and Ebert two thumbs up! There was only one thing I was disappointed about. No sweet tea! Were In Charleston SC, no sweet tea. Everything else totally made up for it though. The staff even had everyone present sign a menu, wishing us a happy anniversry1 I will most definatly go there again for a special occasion. Thanks to Andrew, Joel, and the entire staff, for making this night special!!“

“Today was our first trip to O'Charleys. We had lunch at the Henry Tecklenberg Dr. location. We were surprised at the high quality and reasonable cost for the two of us.. We had a salmon plate and chicken strip salad for around 25.00 total. But the star of the meal was our waitress Jessica M. She was cheerful, very attentive and all smiles. When we asked how she stays like that in such a tough job she said she had been there some time. She's tried other careers and keeps coming back because she enjoys meeting customers and feels appreciated there. To customers and management we say the food is great and this young lady definitely deserves a shout out.“
