“Worth the wait!Everything we had here was delicious. My husband ordered a Cinnamon Roll that was covered with cream cheese icing that was over an inch high high. It was delicious. I ordered the Banana Bread. This was no ordinary banana bread...it was a slice of Banana Bread topped with hazelnut spread and decorated with bananas. It looked like a masterpiece and tasted even better.We followed our pastry appetizers with the Fritatta which was covered in field greens and the Smash Burger with home fries. “I was visiting Charleston and met a friend for breakfast at Harbinger. We were there as they opened their doors on a Saturday and there was already a short line. That's a good sign! “So happy to have this shop in West Ashley. Their baguettes in croissants are such a treat and not that I’m an expert, but seem true to European standards, if not better than my memories. As expected at the end of the the day they were out of most pastries, so I grabbed a coffee cake and simple egg & cheese on baguette. My 2 yr old was getting fussy, so as was going to tell him I have to go to the car, the kind cook read my mind. He offered to bring it to me. Simplicity made heavenly. I love the bialys (toasted with butter, mmm) and the French press coffee but many of my friends swear by the salmon lox bagel sandwich. I'm also on Blazing Star's challah list - their challah bread is SO delicious. But the very best part is the staff: we all adore Bettina (co-founder) and everyone who works there is wonderful. Just the best place to enjoy a relaxed conversation with friends (and the staff!) while cared for by the kindest staff ever. “The hype is true about this place! Toby is a master at pie making. We had an unofficial pie tasting with 10 different flavors: apple, pecan, bourbon chocolate pecan, rum pecan, chocolate mousse, key lime, coconut cream, sweet potato, Irish cream pecan, and cherry. Light as air crusts, and full of flavor. The bourbon chocolate pecan and Irish cream pecan were absolutely delicious. Key lime was a perfect combination between the tartness and light crumbly crust. Chocolate mousse is a must for a chocolate lover with just right amount of sweetness. Lastly, their customer service is also top notch.“

“Was a good experience going into this location. We got to sample some of the cookies and they were pretty good. Don’t expect a lot of these cookies to have frosting. They are not big in size and they come in bags of multiples as you cannot just buy one. If you like cookies and have a sweet tooth, I would say you should try these. The employees were nice. Would probably go back and recommend.“
“I cannot sing enough praise for RISE Bakery! The team made the most beautiful -- and delicious -- smash cake and two dozen cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday. The whole experience was wonderful. They responded to my online inquiry quickly, helped give me ideas based on the theme (an Alice in Onederland party), and delivered the cake and cupcakes an hour before the party started. They even set the cake and cupcakes out for me, and put in the first birthday candle! So many people remarked on how beautiful and perfect the treats were, and how good they all tasted too. I can't wait to use RISE again!“

First of all the girl that took our call was so sweet , polite and patient. We ordered the " Redneck " chicken cheese steak and a beef steak cheese steak. Side of Cole slaw and side of chips. It took no time at all for our " Hot Food " to arrive. The driver was so friendly and fast ! The food was extremely fresh and the bread to meat to cheese proportions where on point!!
