“My wife and I had an incredible dinner at The River House on Saturday night. Bennie and Kadek took amazing care of us and made the whole experience feel special from start to finish. Every recommendation was spot on, especially the crab cake (all crab/zero filler). From the amuse bouche to dessert, everything was excellent, and the view made the night even better. The brown butter chocolate chip cookies they sent us home with were the perfect finishing touch. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in Bluffton.“

“Even though the Bills did the R Bar did not disappoint. Buffalonians go ahead and have the wings and beef on weck. Both are legit and can hang back home. 15+ TVs for the game and audio over the sound system. Great Bills decor. A must for games when in Hilton Head or the surrounding area.“

“I can’t speak highly enough about Jacob and Phoenix. They both went above and beyond during our stay here and made each pool day spectacular. They have great service as well as great personalities making it better than any pool I’ve visited on property, or any other vacation property for that matter. “We stopped for a mid afternoon snack and beer and were so grateful we did! Azaria was our exceptional waitress, who was pleasant, sweet, answered questions, and gave recommendations. We had oysters and the crab/shrimp dip in the bread. My husband gets oysters whenever we visit a coastal area (we live on the coast in Delaware) and found the oysters from the May River to be the best he has had. The dip was perfect - thick, full of crab and shrimp, and not salty. We visit Bluffton every Spring and we will be back to Bluffton Family Seafood House! Also, we recommended this place to others already!“

“Nice find, many good beers on tap. Sampled he frozen barrel milk stout very good, we had pints of Wild Strawberry Ramble, Helles, beech bully pale, tropical gose all very good. Split the tavern club with tots and a side of curds food is also quite tasty. Friendly staff reasonable prices nicely decorated good atmosphere.“

“We went for Dinner with another couple. Parking lot appeared very full but we were seated very quickly. We waited quite a while for our waiter. He was so soft spoken & questioned what we were ordering a couple times. He brought waters, then bread (butter was so hard you couldn't spread it). The other woman ordered soup. It arrived prior to their alcoholic drinks. We were told it would take a while for the drinks because they were shorthanded & the person behind the bar was actually a waiter.
Our Food was very good. I ordered the Salmon & Shrimp Combo. I brought the Salmon home as leftovers. While I was eating the Salmon I realized there were Pinbones in it. I believe I swallowed 2 of them & found 2 more. These should not have been there as prepared by a Chef.
Again, food was very good, however service was slow and Bones in the Fish. Won't be coming back too soon. Not going to say never but we'll have to think about it.“
