“We had dinner at Perrone's Restaurant last night and every aspect of our meal was great. From friendly bartenders to attentive servers, we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. We tried an octopus and a mussel appetizer, and both were flavorful and delicious. The mussel sauce in particular was so good, I could have sopped it up with an entire loaf of bread. Entrees were generous portions, and the chocolate cake for dessert was really good. If you are within an hour of this restaurant and have not tried it, you're missing one of the two or three best on the entire Grand Strand.”

“we have been several times and every time has been great! not only are the servers extremely nice, but you are greeted promptly and the food is delivered quick! everything I have had there is really good! I highly recommend the pretzel, French dip and their onion rings are very good, the chicken tenders are also great!! my daughter enjoys the burger and she loves their grilled cheese. The prices are also very affordable which is a great thing right now!”

“We had a fantastic dinner on a Monday evening. Not a lot of places are open on Monday In Pawleys Island. We had the Cesar salad and the house with the Gorgonzola dressing 😋. Then we had the meatball appetizer, the Chicken Piccata and the Chicken with the pepperonci’s and sausage (can’t recall the name). Perfect amount of spice. Each chicken dish was over linguine with 2 pieces of pounded chicken. The chicken was not overcooked. Every entree comes with either their tomato basil soup or one of the salads and bread with oil. Portions were generous, we took a little of everything home. I saw some people complaining about prices and potions but I disagree. Most dishes about $30 that includes the soup or salad and bread but anything with seafood or veal or steak of course more. I’d definitely go back the next visit and I encourage you try it.”

“My husband and I stopped in for dinner after a round of golf at True Blue. I expected a place with great beer choices but typical “bar food” dining choices. I was extremely impressed with the food quality. I ate a wonderfully fresh salad and the balsamic poppyseed dressing was addictive. Hubby ate crab cakes and the fried green tomatoes side was the best we’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend this place and we will be back soon!!”

“Such a great ice cream shop! The staff are friendly and so much love is put into every creation. They have a ton of original flavors you won't find anywhere else, so there's sure to be something for everyone. I'll warn you, it can be a bit pricey (depending on what you order), but it's worth every penny.”

“We enjoy going to Gilbert's Ice Cream in Pawleys Island for their amazing homemade ice cream😋. They always have new flavors every week and we just had the Chocolate Mint, so delicious. I would recommend going there when you are in the area craving ice cream!”

“My go-to for desserts whenever I’m on vacation (and I LOVE ice cream!) The cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls and cakes are incredible (esp. the caramel and caramel pecan cake!) But the blueberry pie is without a doubt the best pie I have EVER eaten — anywhere! It is divine!!”

“What a great restaurant. We go there at least once a week. We really enjoy the mussels and the wings. They have several dishes that are really good. Live music on the weekends. Great outdoors area so you can enjoy the outdoors. Service is always incredible!! You most check this restaurant out.”

“I have been going to Hanser House for years. Always consistent,
I enjoy their salads , They still have baked potatoes on the menu and food is always good. Obviously, for the previous review- it is in SC so I order appropriately. I wouldn't order flounder in Maine so I've never had a lobster in SC. Go for the shrimp or grouper or their chowder always good.

Not busy at all told to sit where we would like got to table and it was sticky all over the top of it mentioned to waitress she just looked at us we should have walked out but we were wanting to have the oysters so we endured the push off from the waitress we were very disappointed with the food and the very small amount of oysters that were brought to us food and dessert bar was very disgusting order a extra order of hushpuppies very cold and disgusting frozen hushpuppies very unclean unsantiary conditions all over the whole resturant”

“We've stopped at the Old Kitchen many times. Usually at Night of a Thousand Candles for wine while walking the grounds, and perhaps a giant chocolate chip cookie. Today we had the roast beef and provolone sandwich and a Caesar chicken wrap. They were fantastic! Both were freshly made with top-notch ingredients. Iced tea went well with them, the service was excellent, and the garden view was extra special.”

Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking and a ramp to get on the deck, otherwise seating is easy easy, just move a chair outta the way.”
