“Bistro 217 sat my little family last minute with no reservation on a busy Monday night instead of turning us down. And when I asked for an extra fruit cup for my 2yo, they not only grabbed one for me they cut the grapes too! Huge win for momma trying to eat with a child on her lap. Thank you so much for being so kind. And as always food was delicious.”

“We had dinner at Perrone's Restaurant last night and every aspect of our meal was great. From friendly bartenders to attentive servers, we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. We tried an octopus and a mussel appetizer, and both were flavorful and delicious. The mussel sauce in particular was so good, I could have sopped it up with an entire loaf of bread. Entrees were generous portions, and the chocolate cake for dessert was really good. If you are within an hour of this restaurant and have not tried it, you're missing one of the two or three best on the entire Grand Strand.”

“We visited in August of 2025 and the staff were very friendly and welcoming and it reminded me of true Carolina spirit. Had a simple Bacon cheeseburger with tater tots and did enjoy my carryout order. Will visit again!”

“we have been several times and every time has been great! not only are the servers extremely nice, but you are greeted promptly and the food is delivered quick! everything I have had there is really good! I highly recommend the pretzel, French dip and their onion rings are very good, the chicken tenders are also great!! my daughter enjoys the burger and she loves their grilled cheese. The prices are also very affordable which is a great thing right now!”

“My husband and I stopped here on the way home from Myrtle Beach and it was a welcome change from the kitschy strip malls. I got a matcha latte with homemade honey lavender flavoring and a bacon cheddar quiche with side salad and my husband got his standard honey latte with avocado toast. The lattes were some of the better ones we’ve had and the food was solid. The restaurant setup is a little different as you have to weave around tables and display stands to order but I liked browsing while waiting for our order.”

“Went on a fishing trip and Paradice became a group favorite. The owners are extremely friendly, atmosphere is inviting, and the ice cream is excellent (all homemade if I understand correctly).

Favorites of our group included Black Raspberry Chip (my personal favorite), Black Cherry Chip, Godiva Martini, Dark Batman, Moosetracks, and Rocky Road. Would highly recommend.”

“The Sunset Slush in Pawley's Island was a great evening treat for my family and I and didn't break the bank. My oldest loves Italian ice and the consistency of their product is just right. I got Blue Raspberry and my oldest got Tangerine and we both really liked them. My husband got Cola and said it was a little on the icier side, but it did seem to come from the end/bottom of a container. The staff here were also super nice and kind. We will definitely be back!! 🌅🍧”

“My go-to for desserts whenever I’m on vacation (and I LOVE ice cream!) The cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls and cakes are incredible (esp. the caramel and caramel pecan cake!) But the blueberry pie is without a doubt the best pie I have EVER eaten — anywhere! It is divine!!”

“We love J Peters in Pawleys Island. We are frequent visitors. Our one complaint - which we have mentioned to our waitress and the staff, the restaurant is cold and to the point it's uncomfortable. We've asked them more than once to "warm it up" - and the staff agrees - but our comments fall on deaf ears. It never changes!”

“We visited Applewood House of pancakes yesterday for breakfast. We missed the sign to the entrance, but once we found our way we were greeted upon entering. The menu has some good selection to choose from. I had crepes with strawberry compote and my friend had a pancake with eggs and sausage. Overall, it was a good experience. The waitstaff was friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable timeframe. The prices were in line with what we see of normal breakfast areas.”
