“Came for an early dinner with some friends before a show and was not disappointed. Located in a little pocket sort of near Hampton Park, expect to spend a minute circling the block to find parking. Renzo is unassuming but light and bright in a corner spot with tables and booths and a normal bar. We were early enough for unexpected Happy Hour specials (on a Saturday) and took full advantage - meatballs and discount cocktails. Meatballs were soft and moist and flavorful with 4 per order. Miso were better than the Roman (strong sauce with almost raw garlic) but we liked both. Drinks were all solid, from Happy Hour on. Get the guava-lychee drink. The rest of the menu is split into pizzas and not pizzas and we picked a few from both. The Caesar and most other dishes are perfectly portioned for one or to share amongst a table of four. We ended up having the Caesar, two “not pizzas”, the two orders of meatballs, and two pizzas and it was perfect for our group at a great price. Some dishes were a split like/don’t like (lemony potatoes & desserts), but as a whole we didn’t have a bad bite. A great spot for a little less than a la fancy pizza & pasta dinner, Renzo delivers.

“This place has the best pizza! My husband is Italian and I have been on a search to find a pizza like this. The freshness and quality of ingredients are *chefs kiss*. I ordered ceasar salad, fried mozzarella and the Margarheta pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious. The wood fired crust was soft and chewy. The tomato sauce using San Marzano tomatoes was the perfect accompaniment to the fresh basil and mozzarella. The fried mozzarella was soft and was fried perfectly. Run don't walk to try this place. “I've had their gluten free cauliflower crust pizza and it was ready great - delicious crunch and chew. Expect a bit of a wait during dinner, especially on Fridays. The toppings are a bit pricey, though. Just over $40 for 2 personal, 2-topping pizzas.“

I celebrated my 31st birthday with my best girl friends and the staff could not be more happy and enjoyable to be around, truly making me feel like part of the family! We were seated at the center table by the fireplace, which we were told unfortunately does not turn on but the aesthetic is still AMAZING and homey. Our lovely server, Jada, recommended the watermelon lemonade refresher, and let me tell you, it is to DIE for!! Why is it so good? Like seriously, why? Giovanni is very personable and always has remembered me and that is something you don’t get everywhere. I may live 1200 miles from this place but it sure feels like home when I go in for a slice. “Food was good- pepperoni and basil on gluten free crust & another pepperoni on regular crust. Pizza is wood fired and has that thin crust, rustic, floury thing going on. The kids tried the hot honey on theirs and loved it! The meat and cheese board was good as well. We went on a weekend and there was competing music between here and the bar across the street, lots of people, lots of kids playing on the playground in the seating area.

She made sure that I was not only a happy customer (which I already am) but that I am going to be a loyal one (already am that, too). Customer service that means something is hard to come by, but Sarah has it nailed. Just...wow!“

She was most helpful in suggesting the amount and toppings. My mobility issues allowed me to go to the Lobby and receive my Pizza. Leo brought it to the desk, he was very nice, appreciative and caring. April and Leo are great employees to have, they accommodate others issues and make it happen. I am most grateful and thankful. “OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and the food was DELICIOUS!!! I reached out to the Folly Rd. Marco's about having quite a few pizzas, brownies and drinks delivered to a hotel where I had a group of 28 staying. I called the store a couple times in the weeks leading up to the delivery before placing my order online. Each time I called, the person that answered the phone was so polite and helpful. On delivery day, the driver ("9694-H.M.") was on time (a few minutes early, even!) and so polite. When I asked him about the plates and napkins I had requested when I called the store to confirm my order, he had forgotten them and you could tell he felt horrible. He was so apologetic (said he sees the note about the paper products now and just missed it earlier) and offered to go back to the store and get them or go out and buy some at the store around the corner and bring them back. I asked if he'd get reimbursed for that, and he said no, but that didn't matter (I told him it did matter and we didn't need to do that). The group was already starting to come down for dinner, so I asked the hotel if there was any way they could help out (their customer service had also been stellar!). The hotel "saved the day" and was able to provide some paper plates and napkins, so all was well. I told the driver "problem solved" and no worries. I really appreciated him offering to go above and beyond.....I thought service like that was long gone. I was so impressed with this young man. About 20 minutes later, he showed up again at the hotel with a grocery bag of paper plates and napkins (even though he knew the hotel was able to find some for us). I was so impressed with his integrity! I thanked him and said we were good and maybe he could keep those in his car in case he needs them another time. So, Marco's on Folly Beach Rd........not only did you guys provide a great dinner for my group, but had it delivered by a person who is OUTSTANDING at his job!!! Thank you so much for making our evening GREAT!“

Vegetarian options: Vegetarians and vegans can make a custom pizza and the vegan cheese they use tastes so much better than any normal cheese I’ve tried in my life! They also care about you and will let you know if anything you order(pesto for example) has meat with it(they even called me to let me know)! Lots of veggie choices so I would say you can make a bomb pizza being a vegan or vegetarian!

Parking: They have a lot of spots but I came at rush dinner time and had to look around for a minute or two(found a spot very quickly though)!

Kid-friendliness: The whole place is very kids themed and colorful there’s also many other families inside sitting so it wouldn’t be rude at all to bring kids!

Wheelchair accessibility: There isn’t any stairs and from I remember they have the wheel chair assessable slope onto the side walk from the parking lot.“

“Do not sit upstairs!! It is boiling hot, too hot to eat Italian food. It was extremely disappointing because we called weeks ahead to reserve a table for 11 people to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday while on vacation. We were told there was a more private area upstairs, which sounded good! When we got there, it was 84 degrees upstairs with a very poor fan and what might have been a portable ac unit which didn’t help at all. We were not told in advance that there was no air conditioning upstairs or we definitely would NOT have chosen this restaurant. We were dressed up and sweating buckets, not at all enjoyable! Most of the food was pretty good. Just miserable experience that we were trying to make enjoyable to salvage our daughter’s birthday dinner.“

“Wanting to try something new for our anniversary, we decided to give this place a try on 3/31/23. Even though we didn’t have reservations, we were seated right away. We got the bread service & Mozzarella Frittos for starters…and WOW. AMAZING. They were both perfect. They are enough to be a meal alone! For dinner, he had the Veal Giuseppe and I had the Stuffed Ravioli with vodka sauce. There are not enough words to describe how amazing these dishes were. By far the best food we have had. At the first bite, there were literal tears in my eyes. The portions are HUGE as well. We fought the urge to polish off the dinners so we could have room for dessert. My husband had the Banana Pudding Cheesecake and I had the Peanut Butter Cheesecake. Again, both were perfect. The Banana Pudding Cheesecake was light, fluffy and flavorful. The Peanut butter Cheesecake was more dense but just as flavorful and amazing. I am not normally one to make reviews but I had to share the praises of this wonderful hidden gem. “Pizza was pretty dern good! But visit ended on a head scratcher. Caesar Salad was ok, not a wow. All sorts of different greens …not a classic Caesar with Romaine. That’s on me…should have read menu closer. Pizza was really good. Decent potions, cooked nice and crispy. Our family had left over pieces from everyone’s pizza we wanted to take home…almost a full pizza worth of left overs. This is a pizza place?! They brought us tiny little paper boxes to stack our pizza pieces in…!?! If I wanted a layered lasagne…I’d have ordered lasagne. I was looking forward to my leftovers…not any more. Who stacks pizza pieces in tiny boxes? Head scratcher…. Real missed opportunity… pizza goes in a pizza box. Offer it with piece of foil in the box so your guests can slide it right into a pan to reheat. Not the last impression you want guests leaving with in my opinion. Your pizza is too good to be disrespected like that.“
