“The food in Surfside is very good and service is as well, but, check for hidden fees and wrong prices. A side salad is an up charge of $2.50 as a side which we were not informed. I ordered a $10 drink during happy hour but was charged $14.90. So check before you order and check your ticket. Other than that you will enjoy the meal.“

“This restaurant has the best French fries that I have ever eaten. The portions are huge. The catfish is unbelievable as is the cole slaw. The service was very quick and very nice. Not to mention the wonderful view of the ocean from our indoor table. I only wish that this was the first day of my trip and not the last. I definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back.“

For the past few years, we go back to MD to see my family and eat at Pappas for his birthday this time every year. We couldn't make it this year, so this was the time to try Casa Mia's. Will, you were absolutely right...so much better than Pappas and thankfully closer ta boot. Crab cake dinner with cream of crab soup on the side was PERFECT!! I've tried other places around in the Grand Strand area, and nothing comes even the slightest bit close to a REAL Maryland crab cake like what you have at Casa Mia's. I appreciate you making this birthday for him a continued ritual of a crab cake dinner. I appreciate ya!! I hope he remembers this for my birthday in December!!😁“

“We have been enjoying your restaurant for many years,but last night was the first time we were disappointed. We brought a couple with us for their first time there.We had been praising everything about it but last night we ordered off the regular menu,not the early bird specials and the portions were smaller than what we had on the early bird specials! It was excellent as always,but we were still hungry when we left. We’re not huge eaters and usually have leftovers!“

“Malibu was the first Italian restaurant we went to when we moved to Myrtle Beach. We loved it then and still do. However, on our recent visit, another couple joined us. We discovered they don’t do separate checks. They explained, but for 4 people adding up the bill isn’t hard. Most restaurants will do separate checks. The other thing I noticed, they’re portions have gotten smaller. The first time I had Mama’s sauce I could barely finish it. Not this time. Significantly smaller. I hope they change their portions.“

“The food is great! The only reason why I gave it four stars was because when I got there shortly after they ran out of fresh oysters on the buffet. For the amount of money that I spent there I would expect them to have a full buffet until close.
We travel there at least twice a year to eat as a family. The buffet is around $50 per person. With a family of five you expect the availability of all products when you arrive. It's not like I could go back the next day or afford to do so.“

We had the spicy crab dip as an appetizer; was flavorful and had a small kick to it, nothing overbearing. My husband had the lobster and enjoyed it; The butter dip could have used more garlic. I had their special for the night Prime rib; was cooked at a perfect temp and enjoyed the au jus sauce as well as the horseradish which is usually not my go to. The creek shrimp is also good if you want something on the cheaper end, good portion and not to much breading. Bathrooms could use updating, only 1 stall per sex. All in all was a good experience, and granny really made our kids feel like she was their granny.“

“I visited Kimbels for a wedding. The weather was fantastic and glad it was because the wedding was held on the bluffs. Such a beautiful setting. Appetizers were served to us by wandering waiters in an outside tent along with a bar and band. After the ceremony and wedding pix ... the people went inside where there were 4 food stations. So good. After we got our fill ... we went back outside under the tent to dance. It couldn't have been better!“

“My sister and I were lucky enough to catch them the night before they close for a winter week.

Without a doubt, the best fried oysters (appetizer) I have had anywhere on the GrandStrand in 30 years.

Even though they are shutting down for a week, our broiled flounder was great and perfectly seasoned.

It was a quiet Sunday night and we had wonderful, attentive service.

So happy to rediscover this place and looking forward to coming back with rest of family!

“My friend and I went to the Draft Resturant at Westgate Resorts in Myrtle Beach for dinner and unlike other places we have dined at this trip, it was the most pleasant.

Our waitress Daniella Nicholson was amazing. I’d first like to say that she was the only server in the restaurant on a Friday night and with every passing minute, more family’s entered. She made sure to check in on us and update us on the status of our meal. The food and drinks were pretty good, no complaints there.

There were some very rude individuals who raised their voices when she asked explained that she was alone at the moment, which was very uncalled for.

This has been by far the best food/service experience we have had since being here and even though Danielle was busy, she treated everyone with kindness and respect.

Whatever you do this holiday season and even in your everyday dining experiences, be kind to others because it’s people like Danielle who show up to work daily allowing us the luxury to be waited on.“

“The shrimp was the best thing on the menu. The fish wasn’t that great, I have had better. The fries were fried in the same oil as the fish and you could taste it. I would be cautious if you thought about ordering the chicken fingers.The coleslaw was tasty, I wish they gave you more. The hush puppies were ok. I didn’t like the crab cake but my dad enjoyed it. I like that this place is inside of lakewood camping resort and you can eat almost right on the beach.“
