Legit hand breaded chicken fried steak and real mashed potatoes were perfectly prepared. No prebreaded steak or boxed mix used in our meal. Complimentary bread before the meal from their in house bakery was tender and tasty as was their coconut cream pie with authentic flaky, home style crust with fresh whipped cream topping and rich filling. This will not disappoint!“

“We recently enjoyed a lovely dinner at Golden Bison Grille. Our fine pre-dinner drinks at the bar were attended by the friendly Ms. Tina. The Golden Bison meal was beyond delicious with melt in your mouth pork doused in an outstanding bourbon glaze and oh-so-tender steak bites, grilled asparagus and sweet herbed potatoes. Our friendly and efficient server, Roland, provided the perfect amount of attention and completed our experience with the most delicious Crème Brûlée! Restaurant Manager Josh stopped by to visit during our meal and was assured this, our special evening out, was indeed a memorable one!“

“My wife is Celiac. After having a burger with a GF bun she had absolutely no stomach issues. Could tell they go the extra steps to make sure there was no contamination or cross contamination. Would eat here again. Both her food and mine was one of the best if not the best burger from a fast food place we have ever had.“

“Love the decor & vibe in there! The drink I got was so tiny though and I could barely taste the alcohol but it was good. The steak was the best I’ve ever had and the garlic fries, yum! Such a good meal! The dessert was so fricken good! The entire experience there was just awesome! Loved it!“

“Our Host was also our Server. He sat us at a HUGE booth, which can fit 4-7 people (there were only 2 of us). The Drink Menu is extensive. Since we didn't know if we were expecting, I didn't take advantage of the Key Lime Pie Martini. Will more than likely be back to try this! Appetizer/Menu and pricing were as expected (on the higher end of things, but it was my Birthday, so it was ok). We got the Hot Crab Dip for an Appetizer. Could've used more bread. Husband got the Wild Boar Lasagna and I got the Coconut Curry Shrimp Bowl. All 3 Dishes were great! It got awkward after our Server took our empty plates, since it took him awhile to bring us our bill. We didn't know if we had to get up and pay, or if they thought we stayed at the hotel, to charge our room...Husband had to take out his wallet, and put on the table, to show we were ready for our bill.“

“I love Culver's burgers and their other items they offer. The butter burger is just so good! It comes plain you so can get it how you would like it. It is fresh, not frozen patties like so many places. Their cheese curds are really good too and you can't go wrong with all their flavors of custards.“

“Would absolutely recommend Shipwrecks Bar & Grill! They have their own separate gluten free fryer. My 2 year old son with Celiac and other allergies was able to have walleye fingers with French fries and loved them! They even made it into a kids meal for him! The head chef was very knowledgeable about celiac and willing to talk with us! Wonderful experience all around!“

“Service was great from the hostess to servers. The two others with me had steaks, good flavor but prefer a thicker cut instead of thin cut that looks bigger. Had the salmon and it was very good. One had the brussel sprouts that had maybe 3 slices and the rest was burnt, loose leaves. Manager blamed it on the supplier, if that is the issue then remove it from menu, there were at least two other items not available.“

“As a trucker of the old school, I'm very appreciative to the few remaining truck stop diners. The trucking heritage is now dead and places like this have mostly been replaced with trash fast food.

However, while I understand the times are what they are, over $17 for a simple to go breakfast is pretty high. It's mainly high because you've chosen to participate in the post covid entitlement era. You should absolutely not be automatically including a 20% gratuity in to go orders.“

“Dog friendly! Even have Yappy Hour! They brought our dogs a bowl of water, and we were able to order Yappetizers 3-6 pm Saturdays. Our goal for our vacation was to find as many things we could include our Golden friends on as possible. We ordered the dogs peanut butter whipped cream cups, which took the dogs a good 5 minutes to eat! The staff even came to mop after they were done. I had a wonderful entree of salmon, veggies, and rice. And my husband said the hot honey chicken sandwich and Caesar salad were delicious. We were able to watch the Packers/Bears game. “Everything tasted great. The only thing I didn't like was the potato salad on the salad bar. Some kind of brownish thick dressing on it. I just figured they went heavy on the mustard but it didn't taste anything like mustard. I got the coconut fried shrimp platter. It was very good.“

“Get the beer and burger for 10 you won't regret it also had another burger forgot what it was called but it was spicy something with avocado in it. Problem with spicy is if it goes in spicy, it comes out spicy, bring your own baby wipes cause you're gonna need it.“

I have met some truly amazing people at the Legion, and my son - who happens to have Downs Syndrome - has build some great friendships with people in the crowd as well as the staff. The Legion as a whole is so welcoming, and supportive of his love for singing (rather enthusiastic, but I’ll be the first to admit he creates his own words and melody) and his need for building friendships. “Keith is a great server! The atmosphere is is an Applebee's... The food was cooked well and served quickly. Usually this Applebee's is hot or miss but we have been lucky getting Keith as a server and has def made it more consistent.“
