I got the short rib lunch special and since it was my first time in she also brought me a sampler of their sides; kimchi, apple salad, bean sprouts, seaweed salad and some type of fish skin. Can not say enough about how good the beef short rib, Korean fried chicken and fried rice were. Service was amazing as well! Highly recommended!“

“For a little counter service in a 7 eleven, Raise the Roost is pretty good and inexpensive. Mostly fried foods, but the tenders are pretty tasty.

They close early, usually done by 8 o clock. But still surprisingly fresher then some more expensive chicken places.

You order your food and then are free to roam around the 7 eleven. Then they ring it all up in one order.

There are even a few tables inside if you need a place to take a break from the road.“

The steak was the best ive ever had. I usually get a ribeye med well but I thought I'd try a Filet and wow it was perfect. My waitress is cant remember her name but she had a birthday party beside my table of 25 people. The place was really busy but when I seen she had so many people she was waiting on i thought I'd never get waited on . But she took care of me and I was very happy she did outstanding job“

But to top it off, our waitress went above and beyond. She gave us perfect recommendations and offered for us to try the banana pudding on the house because it’s that good… she was not kidding! Then gave an extra serving of baked beans to go because I was raving about them so much! We will 100% be back (regularly)!!“

“Korean is my favorite cuisine. I was delighted to find this wonderful restaurant. It's in a small strip mall, the exterior is not inviting. Ambiance inside was very comfortable, very clean. Service was professional. One thing I use to judge ethnic restaurants is how many people of that ethnicity are there. Of the several tables occupied I was the only nonasian diner, so I assume authenticity. I had seafood soft tofu stew. It was delicious. Korean restaurants typically serve banchan side dishes, this served them, each was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience excellent Korean dining. I'll be back!“

“Ever go out of state for vacation and wish you lived closer because you just found a new favorite restaurant? My family just did. I'm writing this review as we are back for lunch at the spot we ate dinner at last night with all of us agreeing we could all easily find something new to eat. The Ridge didn't disappoint.

The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. I met new friends upstairs at the bar and ate til I was stuffed in the dining room. If you are in Nashville, you HAVE to stop here. We will definitely be back and I will miss it until I return.

We had smoked BBQ Pork sandwich, Smoked brisket sandwich, Mac and cheese, collard greens, fried okra and home made fruit ice tea! They also give you a hand wipe and dental floss. The Bronut was a biscuit stuffed with cheesecake, Fried Green Tomato Wrap and Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelet was just a few menu items of amazing unique meals. We started off with a Biscuit Basket and Bronut (biscuit stuffed with cream cheese filing and deep fried and smothered in a blueberry compote) many assorted jams from mild to spicy. The pepper jams and jelly’s were amazing and flavorful. My wife had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit with potatoes, my daughter had the Pimento Cheese and Bacon Omelette, our son had the Daniels Big Breakfast: and I had the bacon breakfast tacos…. All our meals were great and fulfilling. There potato’s and grits were extremely flavorful and perfect sides! I highly recommend and give this place 5 stars for service, quality and food~ Julia the Kitchen manager was amazing and very warm and welcoming! TK our server was extremely accommodating and helpful!“

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload“

She gave us solid recommendations for our appetizers because we were between two and she convinced us to go with the Wild West Shrimp. We are so happy we did!
