“First time ever eating here today and I got their cheese bread ? and grilled ? ? tenders with fries, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised with how good the food is. The scenery there out back on the dock with the boats ⛵ is breathtaking as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!!!“

“I had breakfast here. It was surprisingly delicious, for an airport eatery. Eggs with crispy edges, sausage and buttered toast (maybe sourdough) cooked on a grill like grilled cheese is. Best airport breakfast ever. Traveling companions raved about the avocado toast.“

“Just by chance we decided to go Janie's Place and we are glad we did. The owner Janie is a fireball. The food is very good. Try the beef brisket, as well as the country fried steak. The fried green tomatoes are also very good. Prices are more than reasonable.“

“I've only been here once but plan to go back! I had a few beers and pizza. The pizza was alright and that's the only reason for the 4 stars on food. I ended up playing darts most of the evening and had a great time. Justin, the manager, is an awesome guy and made me feel very welcome. The people that were there are friendly and the place is open and clean, also non smoking. I look forward to going back again soon!“

“Owner greeted us and took care of us at beginning and at the end when we had to leave. Food we had to go was great just like our appetizer, however our waitress didn’t want us there and we felt it the moment we was sat down with our with her taking our drink order, she would be the reason others wouldn’t try a great restaurant again in the future potentially. Owner definitely saved the evening.“

“This place is one of those Hidden Jems. The food is great, you can get anything on the menu at any time. If you are traveling between Bristol and Kingsport or just looking for a nice little place for a good bite I highly recommend stopping in.“

“This was our familys first visit after being recommended as a great place for some fun. We were greeted by the hostess as soon as we entered and she explained how the axe throwing worked as we have never thrown an axe. We scanned a QR code filled out our waivers quick and easy. She gave us some throwing tips and explained the safety rules. It only took a few attempts and we were axe throwers and had a blast. We ordered some cold beers and cider and a delicious Pepperoni pizza to snack on in between throws. When we had questions or needed help they were right there. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. This may have been our first visit but will not be our last. This was on a Sunday midday and was perfect. If you want to try axe throwing i suggest you come visit these great folks you will not be dissappointed.“

“This is a small hometown place. The seafood is very fresh. The shrimp ?? was excellent.The Scallops were really good, next visit though I will have them grilled instead of fried.The fries are hand cut, and the hush puppies were very good. My wife reported the baked potato was piping hot.I would skip the slaw☹️, they will give you extra hush puppies instead of slaw.“

“My wife and I were going to Drakes. That was the plan, we have ate Drakes 1000 times and its consistent service but mediocre food. Never ate at Aubreys, but I was told by a coworker to try Aubrey's - they said it was good but expensive. They were partially right. The food is insanely good. The price was shockingly low! The classy environment and way the staff operate like a well oiled machine, blew us away! Best restaurant in the TriCities.Our waitress Elaina and the GM Jacob were great! We could not have asked for a better waitress. She was knowledgeable, took our order without writing anything down, recommended everything we ordered for us, which was sooooo good, wasn't in a hurry to get us out, great customer service. She chatted with us about where she was from, her career at Aubreys and how much she loves the job. Rare to find great customer service like her. Halfway through our meal a gentleman walks up to our table and asks how our experience is! It was the GM Jacob. I was shocked at how personable, nice, and caring he was. He gave us a little history on Aubrey's and the paintings that hang throughout the dining room. He explained his career at Aubrey's as well as asked us about ourselves. Before he walked away he told us to pick our two desserts from the menu - and he would pay for them. Wow! We had already ordered enough food to feed a small army but when they said banana pudding, I was making room. Lol. Overall - I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I know that I will be telling everyone to eat there, and we will make it our new normal date night. Great first impressions.Vegetarian options: Produce is local and farm to table. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients!Dietary restrictions: They offer Gluten Free as well as other restrictions if you need it. Plus the staff can name basically every ingredient in every dish.“

“We were passing through Bristol and learned our favorite restaurant was no longer in business. Asked a local for recommendations, and he said Stateline had a good burger. They were right ! We were served promptly, and our server was very pleasant. Ordered the Black&Blu and the Cheddar&Bacon. They come with house made chips, but one order was upped to fries. The burgers were really good, moist, flavorful. and nicely dressed. The fries were hot and nicely salted. I'd gladly go back.“

“Seat yourself, be prepared to freeze while you eat. Wait staff was young and attentive, would like to see them in a uniform of sorts not shorts and yoga pants. My dad voted a 4 for tastiness and flavor, coffee was hot fresh, he would go back and says way better then the chain CB down the road. Hubby says he likes it and scored it a four. My mom rates is as a 4. Now let’s get down to business, I thought the brown gravy was slightly pasty and the pancakes were missing something.The hash-browns were cooked with perfection and for sure if I go back I’ll just ask for them to make me a potato bowl. I was however surprised as we walked out to peep inside the fridge and the amount of condiment bottle blew me away. That’s one thing that scares me personally how does one keep track of when they opened it if there were no labels with dates.The mamaw in back with a kitchen towel around her neck made me feel right at home, however each person keeps house differently, keep that in mind before you judge.You will need to ask for a knife they don’t give those out, must have something to do with the location.“

“Good news is I tried an apple fritter for the first time here and saw what I was missing out on my whole life. Bad news is, Blackbird has set the bar for apple fritters so high that I have no choice but to come back. Why did you do this to me Blackbird ;-;“

“I would highly recommend the fried chicken the fried catfish the fries and the mac and cheese however I would not recommend the baked mac and cheese as it is super sweet and under seasoned I wouldn't recommend the cornbread it's really sweet and very dry and the banana pudding as it's more vanilla pudding with banana and wafers I would recommend the BBQ baked beans super tasty I would recommend the green beans really tasty with a bacon flavor I would recommend the sweet tea I will say it's not quite sweet enough but almost perfect. As for the service I didn't get the waitresses name but she was very friendly very patient and all around great. The building was very clean very nice the seats were a little tight but very comfortable and if you like sports this place is perfect for you I would easily say this is the best soulfood in Bristol“

The people who work at this lication care so much I could never gratify them enough.“

“It was super busy, so we chose to sit at the bar. We were greeted by Josh as soon as we sat down. He took our order, and made some recommendations because we had never been there. He was friendly, patient (we took a while deciding what we wanted), and explained a few menus items and made a recommendation he thought we would like- we loved it all! and will be back soon.“

“This is a quaint spot with good home cooking. You can't beat the price. It is not what you would expect if you are not a local. So if you are from the city, then I can not give this spot 5 stars for you. But if you are from the country, this is a 5 star spot. Grab a drink from the cooler, go to the counter to place your order and have a seat. We stopped in for dollar hot dog day.Parking: We found parking in front and walked right in. Would be easy access for a wheelchair.“

“Bristol BBQ has its nickname, The Cup BBQ place. Rightfully so, this location was a coffee place long long ago, then a gold selling place, then Bristol BBQ. There food is to die for. It's fresh every day and the service is amazing. Portions are good for the price you pay. I always get loaded tots and OMG they are amazing. The do come with jalapeños so watch out but I love them I'm happy. 10/10 will continue to support this place and eat there any time I can.“
