“When is the last time you, the reader, have ever been to a drive-thru of a fast food place as popular as Pals and learned that the person taking your order was the owner and operator of that location???

That has never happened to me before today.

An absolutely wonderful lady, who remembered my EXACT order from the last time I was there, took my order. I jokingly said she should be manager and it was then she told me she was the owner.

I was FLOORED.

This Pals is my second favorite. My favorite has to be the Lynn Garden Pals because I remember that place from childhood and it hold special childhood memories.

I'm still in shock that the owners of the locations work beside the hourly employees. This is such a wonderful business plan.

“Visited tonight, seemed to be a after Church rush inside and the drive thru was wrapped around. What I noticed from the staff was outstanding, you could tell it was a absolute overwhelming time. Those young folks handled it with calm and stayed focused on getting orders out timely. Noticed the person working the window, also overwhelmed but handled the rush very well!!!! All of them deserve a bonus.“

“Tried for the first time tonight! So good and very reasonable to feed my 3 big guys and myself! The pulled pork is good even without the sauce but the sauce is great! The Carolina vinegar based sauce is good too! The beans and tater tots were great! Great option for those crazy evenings with 3 different sports going on and a hungry family on a budget.“

“This location barely gets any traffic, but they are absolutely terrific. I think today was the best experience I've ever had at a subway, the lovely lady was so patient with us, especially my little sister, who is really quiet, and waited for her to order. Didn't get impatient once! I didnt catch her name but she deserves a raise, and only the best! Helped us with coupons, which gave me almost 30% off the whole order if not more. She is an absolute saint.“

“I can tell there were alot of brand new employees. Jasmine as the meat cutter was very professional and knows her job. But the other three.... the one prepping the subs (slow like a turtle) had to tell him three times what to put on my sub, the one cutting the sub, hands in her hair, chewing gum not professional in my opinion. Now for the cashier fluttering around had to ask to cash out she didn't know what to ring up, didn't ask if I was a reward customer, was on her phone texting (when there was a line ) she had no smile, basically no customer service. Come on cashier you are the last employee a customer deals with. Empress the customer to come back just a suggestion.“

“The young lady who served us was very friendly and cared about the customer needs and wants. After all... the customer is the one paying the bill. The customer should be able to request toasted or not for their sandwich. If you've visited Subway recently, you know what I'm talking about ? but our server was on top of what we asked for and took care of us properly. My sandwich was one of the best as far as I can remember. ? I'm definitely going back again as long as I receive the service I received on this visit. Giving 2?
