“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload“

“I typically never review fast food places unless they're horrible and people should know.
That's not the case with this place. I rolled up the minute they opened just by chance and was greeted with a very friendly greeting really cool guy taking the order. Border to famous bowl which most KFC's never make them very good. But shout out to the food preparer at this location I couldn't have made it any better myself. 10 out of 10 these guys showed out.“

“This is hands down the absolute best hot chicken in town! I’ve never had a single thing here that wasn’t perfect. The chicken is cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, and coated in the most insanely crunchy, flavorful crust you could imagine.

Choosing between the wings and tenders is basically impossible because both are next-level amazing. The place is tiny with only one table, so always get it to go — but trust me, it’s worth it.

“Best hot chicken in Tennessee hands down. I got the X-Hot tenders they were freshly made, seasoned to perfection, juicy and lightly crispy. The fries were seasoned with paprika and brown sugar I believe. And the fried okra was hot and juicy. If you’re ever around Hendersonville I would highly recommend this place.“

“Alyssa F. is a wonderful person at Slim Chickens in Hendersonville, TN. I had a problem with the taste of the coleslaw with an order that was picked up. I called about it and she immediately tasted the coleslaw that morning and agreed. She offered a free meal, and made sure that the coleslaw was ok, by letting me taste it when I came to pick up my free order, it was fine, and I didn't have to wait long. She should be either promoted or compensated for being so polite and making me want to go back to Slim Chickens for the delicious tenders and coleslaw. Thank you, Bob Stephens“

“I always order the Grilled chicken sandwich combo and typically it's very consistent regardless of which location cooks it. Today's sandwich waste worst I've ever seen. It was greasy and about 3/4 the size it normally is. At first I was a bit frustrated partly because I already had heartburn and I knew it would make it worse but I still gave it a chance. While it looked greasy and charred more than normal it was still tasty. And while I normally eat a larger chicken breast I surprisingly had trouble finishing my sandwich and didn't eat any of my fries I normally only eat about 5 or so and my boys split the rest. Today I ate none. My son and I joked that it was all a part of God's plan, but who knows.... I would still eat here because even at the worst I've seen from chik FIL a it still bests every other fast food chain.“

He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, answered our questions with a smile, and made great recommendations that we loved. It’s not every day you come across someone who is so friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. “I was very impressed by the taste and quantity of food. Very flavorful and unique but you’re best to get it for takeout or delivery. Much like the neighborhood, the restaurant is kinda dirty and unkept. Sticky tables, dirty windows and floors, handprints, and overall just a gross place to try to enjoy your meal in.“

“The chicken tenders are so delicious, I have to get it every time. The servers were really nice, but I was promised an extra sauce which I never got. The atmosphere was good, but there were these two random girls there giving me and my friend the death stare.“

“This is a fast food restaurant but don't be put off. The chicken is great whether original or grilled. There are other menu items as well like salads, waffle fries, etc. There are great breakfast foods as well. The service is great inside and drive thru. The food is reasonably priced. The drive- thru and inside servers are so courteous and helpful.“

We came through around 4:40/5 ish but he was amazing but I didn’t like how the shift lead was talking down to him when he didn’t know how to do a two payment transaction. I don’t like people belittling especially the way the world is now. Idk her name but she’s a little older and has glasses with dark brown hair.“

“Everytime I go there staff is friendly and helpful. You can grab a quick bite to eat (chicken, potatos, chicken salads,mexican food, sodas,produces, pickup any store needed items(small packages).Parking is tight but everyone seems to manage.Gas is reasonable (BP). They are expand the building right now but it's not in the way. Can get your lottery tickets ETC.... $-$$“
