“Amazing staff, they are friendly and provide quality food. Raise the Roost has better biscuits than KFC and Popeyes. Don't let the fact that it is in a gas station deter you from trying them out, they will compete with the biggest names in the industry. If you do try Raise the Roost, I recommend this location.“
“The food was good. A little expensive compared to a KFC. I had the buffalo boneless wings (fancy chicken nuggets) and wasn't disappointed. The person I went with got the chicken tenders and dipping sauces. I tried one of theirs and the tenders were definitely better than the boneless wings. The parking lot is a little cramped, but it isn't a problem outside of the lunch or dinner rush. It's decorated with some Nashville specific signs and knickknacks. The bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Not a bargain place (no $1/deals menu), but worth it for good chicken if you're not on a tight budget.Parking: Crowded at peak times, better to do drive thru at peak hours (lunch and dinner).Kid-friendliness: Definitely a place that welcomes kids.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.“
“Great spot. Appears to be a local must-try as there is always a line.I was a bit bummed that they were out of waffles, but I’ve had them before. The chicken and waffle combo is awesome.I went for the “hot” chicken sandwich and it was perfect. Crispy and fried, just the right amount of heat, and perfectly prepared.Did grits for the side and they were perfect.Service is simple: wait in line, order at counter, food comes to you. Easy enough. The server and clerk were friendly.Check it out, it’s worth the wait. The amount of locals that were here tell you how good it is.“
“This place was awesome! I have celiac and was worried about finding safe food while traveling, but all of the staff clearly have training in place when it comes to GF food. One thing to look out for, the menu says the fries are GF, but they are not in a dedicated GF fryer.“
“We waited in line to get in and order, but it moved quickly. I thought my ability to eat spicy Shin ramen would allow me to eat the hot chicken tenders but I was so wrong! It looked like they rolled the cooked tenders in red pepper and tasted like it too! Luckily one of my friends traded their medium tenders for mine, and they were perfect! I wish they had honey as a condiment for the chicken. The coleslaw and Mac n cheese were both excellent!!“
“I usually don't eat here because I feel that it's a tourist trap. I am from Nashville, and my usual place was closed. However, I will say that the chicken was pretty good. I got the medium. It was very flavorful and fresh. I maybe could have gone with the hot. I would eat there again and maybe dine in instead of to-go. I like that the windows open and you are looking down on Broadway.“
“The chicken was phenomenal! The gizzards were great too. We ordered the "Hella Hot", and the breading to sauce ratio was perfect. Okra like grandma's. Can't say enough about this place. Hands down, THE BEST CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD.“
“The flavor was amazing! It's not just in the skin but goes all the way to the meat! And I like that the skin keeps it's crunch & the breading stays on the chicken! We will be going back again when we're in town! I'm taking a few chickens back with me! Lol!“
“The best nashville hot chicken I've had. Very nice atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly. I got mild and it was just right for the heat for me while my boyfriend got the poltergeist and he said it's lit lolRecommend this place for sure and we will definitely be back ?“
“The wings are done to perfection! Everything was great from the service to food. The only downside is limited or no free parking. There was an hour rate parking few feet away, which made it possible to dine in.Parking: The parking garage is few feet away from the location. It was easy to download the app and pay by the hour.“
“Burger & tots were from Pharmacy Burgers next door which I highly recommend. But for Prince's, I gotta say it was still damn good but did not live up to the hype of being the original "Nashville" Hot Chicken venue. Back home there is a local spot that the owners met Prince & got a little advice on how he made the recipe & sorry, but they perfected it so this wasn't as amazing as I hoped, BUT I still recommend for hot chicken lovers! The quality is still high, for as busy as they were the service was great, & overall I was still happy to try the OG of hot chicken & wish I didn't have stomach issues nowadays to have felt up to getting the xxx-hot because the xx-hot wasn't as hot as I assumed, but if I get another chance I definitely will go for the xxx! Again, overall I am greatly satisfied, but will probably try another location as the crowded mall scene really isn't my thing.Kid-friendliness: Got the plain tenders & fries for my kids, they loved it!“
“Everything from the food to the service was outstanding! Our server Corbin was super great & personable. He kept our drinks full & checked on us regularly. We were even able to sit a little longer as my husband & I were trying to finish up some paperwork. Thanks again Corbin! We'll be back!“
“My fiance and I have been talking about this place for years now on our way home to STL area I got the pleasure of trying this deliciousness!!! Run y'all don't walk!!! Was some of the best chicken I've ever had.... like top three in my 36 years and my family is from Kentucky! Don't sleep on this place. please come to STL ❤️“
“We randomly stopped in a few weeks ago and we were not disappointed! We’ve gone back several times since our initial visit! The service was fast and the food was yummy and fresh! We got chicken tenders and a variety of sauces, just to try as many as we could! The tender sauce and rooster sauce were or favorites!“
“First time here. As a DF & GF person I was able to modify the chicken salad wrap to no wrap and no cheese. I feel the portion was large and could have took half home. I opted for fruit as a side but it didn’t come with the meal. I choose not to say anything because I was already stuffed. My husband ordered the yard bird sale. It definitely could have been two meals. He was able to get different sauces with each item. We tried to order the parm garlic sauce on the menu but that wasn’t available. Boneless wings were soggy. We ordered fountain drinks and a mill creek lime seltzer.“
“I was driving thru Nashville and stopped here for a sandwich to go. The restaurant itself is typical of most fast food places, but it was fine. The sandwich and sides were ready and bagged up in about 5 minutes. I ordered the 2nd hottest, I think it was called capsicum. The sandwich had good flavor, a solid spicy burn and the sides were really good (potato salad and cole slaw). Good stuff!“
“We had a wonderful time, the service was excellent and the food was great at a very reasonable price. The hot motherclucker had just the right amount of heat for most people but if you don't like the heat go with the regular motherclucker either way you can't go wrong. This may not be on your list when visiting Nashville but it is definitely worth a visit.“
“Our server, Callista, was great. The Pile of Thighs was flavorful, but a little dry. The wings were fantastic. The Bacon Mac 'n was very good. Next time, I'll split the Tonka Truck full of wings with a couple friends. It was cold in the restaurant and the parking lot was a slushy, un-paved mess.“
“The chicken is the best in the Denver area! My one wish is that Waldo's opens a few more in the north metro. The staff members are friendly and welcoming and the service is beyond all expectations. We would absolutely choose this fried chicken restaurant for dine-in or takeout over all others!“
“I’d been wanting to try this for quite some time but didn’t because I thought it was expensive. However, I found it very affordable and a good size portion. Since I travel for work, I’m always looking for options. Absolutely love the broccoli salad and every flavor of chicken salad I’ve tried so far.“
“First time eating here. The customer service was great. The folks at the counter offered several choices to me to choose from. The chicken tender with pomme frites was very enjoyable.I just added a new place on my "let's go back & do this again" list..“
“I am in Franklin on business. I wanted to try some chicken so I googled best chicken near me and this came up. Restaurant is on the small side but bright and clean. I told the girl at the register I had never been and she was very helpful with giving me selections to try. I got the chicken strips basket, which ones with one side. I chose the cucumber tomato salad. The strips were the best chicken strips I’ve ever had. Slight spice them but super moist. Perfect amount of breading. The cucumber tomatoe salad was delicious! Highly recommend visiting Waldo’s Chicken & Beer!“
“It was pretty weird to walk into a place looking for hot chicken and catfish to find out it's also a club, but the food was fire, and if nothing else it made the night more interesting. The catfish fantastic, hot chicken sando was delicious, the fried okra was top tier. Definitely will be back for more.“
“The fried chicken was moist and the breading is well-seasoned and very light! Professional and friendly staff. I really liked the salad, which has pecans — if nut allergies are a concern. Clean restaurant.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats available. Kids meals are proportionate and comparable in price.“
