“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“Came in with my wife after a hike. The staff here is awesome. Greeted us as we came in, made small talk and gave us suggestions. Almost talked us into buying the condiments (next time lol). Split a giant #13 on rosemary parm, which was fantastic. Will be back again 😄“

“Went in today to get 3 foot longs, and the parking lot was full. So I knew I was going to be in there for a while. But nope, those three young ladies working were on top of it. Not only filling walk in orders but on line orders as well. They had me in and out in 10 minutes top, and that was with 4 other people in front of me. The way they just worked together and around each other was effortless. They all three are something to brag about. And im doing just that. Good job girls, keep up the good work! And thank you so much and making me and my families dinner perfect.“

“I come for the food. However, Lately I keep coming back because of the service. This location has an absolutely phenomenal team in place. I want to give a special shout out to Leechy.
He has such an amazing attitude and is just a pleasure to do business with.
If you’re having a rough day… I highly recommend stopping by this Jimmy John’s location for a great pick me up. As a bonus, I recommend asking to say hello to Leechy! I promise you’ll leave with a smile every time.“

“Someone needs to give TREY a raise. That’s the most well mannered, polite, helpful employee Ive encountered in a long time! He helped me figure out how we could make my daughter a meatball sub with the gluten free bread and took the extra effort to help make it where it wasn’t cross contaminated. He went out of his way. It turned out great. Thank you!“

“I needed some items in WalMart early in the morning and wanted some breakfast. I had not considered a Subway before, and ruled out McDonalds as they don't have turkey bacon or sausage with their egg breakfast. I was there over an hour before the Subway in the store opened, but the worker was getting set up. She graciously invited me in and fixed my 6" chicken teriyaki sub! Service above and beyond.“
“I'm being completely serious when I write this. Erica is probably the best Subway employee I have ever met. Period. I have never seen someone put so much care into making a sandwich. I was perfect. And Erica was so sweet and professional. I would recommend this Subway to anyone. I've met a few other employees there as well and they are all great. Whoever does the hiring for this store is incredible.“

“One of the best subway locations in Chattanooga. I use to work at subway as a teenager so I can hardly stand it, so the only reason I still go is because it’s close and convenient to my work. They have been consistently making my sandwiches properly which is surprising compared to the downtown location where you get a half toasted cold rotisserie chicken sandwich or a gallon of sauce served with a side of rude Attitude.“

“I used to work at Subway. I am somewhat specific as to how I prefer to have my Subway sandwiches prepared. I was happy that the employees at this Subway were able to follow my requests and make it the same way I would have done myself. This has not always been the case at other locations. They were also fast and friendly. I was somewhat surprised when they asked my partner if he was (eligible for a senior discount) over 62 years old, but we shared a good laugh about it when we arrived back home, so it was certainly not a big deal. The bread was just a little dry, and the tomatoes could have been fresher, but I don't expect anything different from Subway. The food was still good and I enjoyed it very much.“

“I was in there this evening. The two guys working were amazing, hospitable, and professional. There was a customer whose online order never came through, who was understandably upset, but was taking it out on these young men. They handled it with compassion and patience. I was so impressed with their grace under fire.“
